It's actually a very bad idea. When your diet is such that your BMI will be that low, eating that much in a short span of time can have a lot of harmful effects. He needs to work up his weight over time with a diet high in protein, aminos, and sugars so that his body can naturally build the weight in a healthy manner, instead of just shoving everything into his fatty tissue.

I mean assuming that there are 8 slices per pizza that's only 2 and 3/4 pizzas, so I get what Travis is saying. It's the most amount of pizza I think I could imagine a reasonable adult under extremely hungry circumstances eating - but it's not an obscene amount. Especially for this asker who is a skinny tall boi with lotsa room in that bod.

I have witnessed two of my friends eat about 20 slices of pizza, each. Granted, they were having a personal competition, so they pushed themselves more than they normally would, but it was entirely concerning. One of them was a tall, underweight boy, and the other was an extremely competitive shorter girl. The guy won, but only cause the girl was getting super nauseous and slowed down her rate of consumption (to be fair she'd eaten half a dozen cookies before we even got pizza and I think she had some of my pasta and a breadstick)

its worth noting that Cici's cuts their pizza into 10 slices, not 8, and they're very thin. So this kid ate like, 2 pizzas. Its funny when Travis gets razzed by griffin here but he's got a point: that's a very mundanely large amount of pizza.

As a guy who had a comparable build to the asker at his age (5'7", 95 lbs) I'd regularly eat 25-35 pieces of pizza at cici's on the way back from baseball games. Sometimes the skinny kid isn't skinny because of not eating, sometimes they just have an insane metabolism.

Some people just metabolize like a jet engine and don't build enough weight. I personally don't eat enough and usually have a pretty fast metabolism. I usually finish meals in a few minutes and get on with my day. I could totally see eating this much 'za at that kind of leisurely pace of a slice every couple minutes. I don't see why anyone would think it would make you sick-- unless they didn't properly prepare the pizza or you had a physical intolerance to it. It's not the "healthiest" thing to consume, but it's better to slam some fuckin' 'za than be frail and emaciated. It's better to eat something less than ideal than to eat nothing at all.

Okay but ... A full pizza would be divided in, what? 8 slices? so Its like 2 and a half pizzas? ... Is not little... But it's not that much. I'm with trav on this one. Like I've seen people eat that and I've been close. Then again I'm talking very simple pizza. No toppings besides mozzarella.
