@@daltonrich7658 why are you trying to start it with the fob? It's only for performing the button functions like locking/unlocking, opening your trunk and setting the alarm off. Remote starts are completely different

@@naa3672 I never said it was a remote start. The buttons on the remote will work when the *remote* is paired to the car, but the key will not start the car because it does not emit some sort of electronic signal like the original key does. It fits in the ignition and even turns it to the START position (past ACC), but does not start my car.

Hai mate their is is small chip inside your previous key in the corner side its like a small black rectangle piece you need to take that chip and put it in your new key im the exact slot other wise car not start

It works. If you have 2 keys you need to press unlock on both instead of any key during that step.

It worked 😯 I'll change that my battery, I've been unlocking with the key,, even when I first bought the car it didn't work but the Mazda dealership replace the battery and sent the key back to me and it still didn't work. I randomly look up how to program the key in by accident and tried it and it work. I follow the along as you were talking and it worked.

Great video.... Bought this kind of car for my son but the remote key was all busted up. When I called the dealership and by the time they were done screwing me it would've been over $300.00 I read you could buy online and program but instructions weren't so clear so thank you for clearing it up for me.

After going through the needlessly painful process of replacing the battery in my daughter's Mazda 6i remote, it would not work even though the light on the fob lit up when a button was pressed confirming proper installation of the battery. I followed your instructions and it works perfectly now. Thank you!

Does this just program the "unlock/lock" feature or does it program the key to start the ignition as well? I want to get a spare key for my mazda 6 2006 but not sure if i should get the key with the lock fob or just the entry fob...

Just used this for my 2010 mazda3. Thank you. Now to go see if Iot works after I cut it.

how unlock back doors ? only back two doors do not work .. passenger can not open back doors

I'll be honest. I thought this was taking the mickey out of me. I did it. Worked perfectly haha 😂 If you don't have the lock button on your door just flick the driver's door switch as instructed.

Hello I'm just wanted to know if it will work in a 2007 Mazda CX-9 because for some reason my car work keyless and it have one of those key fob that have a card so apparently like I have have it in my back pocket and sit and it kind of Bend so now when I go to the car it does not recognize I have to keep using master key and it's a pain in the butt please let me know thanks

I have a 3008 Mazda 6 and tried this and still does not work. I replaced the battery before so the battery to the fob is brand new. The locks cycle through but fob does not work but the light on the fob still lights up. Not sure what an additional troubleshooting step might be. Thanks!

My system alarm goes off randomly sometimes will this help reprogram it because my key light indicator keeps flashing in my car as well.

I called Mazda the other day and asked them how to program the fob because the video wasn't working the locks would lock but the key fob would not program and they told me I had to have two key fobs for it to work so do you have two key fobs ???

Quick question, I did this and for some reason my car is still not responding. Is it possible that a fuse in my car could be blown?

I've gotten to the step where i press unlock twice on the key and it doesnt work. I've also tried the on/off 4x instead of 3x which makes the trunk pop open and the horn goes off twice and still no luck. I've tried on two keys that i had to replace batteries to, any advice? thanks
