Thank you so much. It works perfectly with Mazda 6 GH (2009; bought in Germany). I failed by programming many times before. You need to turn the ignition on and off 3x and shut and open the door 3x VERY QUICKLY. After that, as you said, some double clicks on unlock and lock buttons - and that's it. this is only for the car doors, this is NOT the immobilizer that allows the key to start the engine(Transponder Programming)... Apparently this(Transponder Programming) is ONLY able to be achieved if you have TWO original Factory Keys that came with car. Otherwise a Locksmiths scanning/reprogramming tool and services will be required. (Anyone with otherwise expert knowledge feel free to correct me but this is what Ive been able to ascertain).

Do you know the steps if you do have two working keys? I want to create extras cuz my one key is gonna be no more anytime. The spare isn't all that great either. I've just ordered 2 from ebay. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

On my mazda 5, nothing happens when I press the unlock button twice after the 1st closing cycle, I don't know what the problem is🤔

I am working on a 2008 Mazda 3. I am trying to program the remotes. I am at a repair shop that lost the remote key. when I do the same procedure you did in the video, after opening and closing the drivers 3x the locks do not cycle to indicate I am in programming mode. I can see the door light on the dash so i know it pick up the open/close signal. if I remove the key or close the door, the lock will cycle 2x to let me know I am exiting programming mode. have you ever seen this issue ?

What if you only have a key with a chip, no key fob

i did this with my 2010 mazda 6. it worked. i have the same fob except mine has the trunk button as well. my problem is just the lock and unlock work. trunk and panic do not work.

I did it with mine but lock wdnt throught the cycle but i think i messed up innthe end. Now it wont go in to the cycle...

The ones from Amazon do work. However the Trunk & Panic Buttons are reversed. So I opened up the Remote like changing the battery and reversed the red & black button covers.

Yes Sir, for all Mazda keyed ignition cars that equipped with keyless entry function. (Some older model respond may be a buzz sound, chime -- not lock/unlock the door) . Good luck!

I did it myself and it worked. But once the spare key is programmed, Original key didn’t work. So then I programmed the Original Key again, then the spare key didn’t worked. Any suggestions?

If the car doesn't enter to programming mode by lock/unlock respond (older cars may only chime sound) so call the dealership and make sure your car is equipped with a keyless entry function).

My remote works one day and then it doesn’t and the car makes that ringing noise when I open the drivers door what do you think is wrong ?

This key has a transponder and transmitter (remote). The on board programming is just for the remote for the transponder programming you will need a programmer (locksmith & dealer will have it).

You right, this method is "Mazda remote programing". To stat the car you need to program the transponder with a programmer.

THIS COMMENT IS ABOUT ADDING A KEYLESS ENTRY REMOTE (EITHER A KEY FOB OR THE BUTTONS ON THE KEY), NOT ABOUT ADDING A KEY TO START THE CAR. o-o-o-o If you are having trouble programming the car for a keyless remote because the door locks will not cycle after you close and open the driver’s door 3 times: m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/pququrayoa_cdpc.html it is probably because this car never had the Keyless Entry System option. This means that you cannot add a keyless remote to this car. The Keyless Entry System is an optional feature. Look in the owner’s manual and note the asterisk “*” at the bottom of the page for Keyless Entry System. It says “Some models”. Not all cars have the Keyless Entry feature.

The more useless fancy gadgets, the more can go wrong ... AND IT WILL !!! A key should simply be a ... KEY !!! Turn the key on three times, lock the door twice, spin around while whistling Dixie, say 3 Hail Marys ... and AMAZING !! worthless miracle !!!
