A little help with your video you should redo your audio script out and shorten it ..... you have good information...It's too long and you don't get to the point make the video maybe a few minutes long Get to the point edit it out you can voiceover and redo it... I have the same exact problem with my car right now 2013 Mazda 6 But I also have a charging system problem so I'm putting in a new alternator today...I'm only reading 13.0 V never goes higher than 13.1 V Sometimes it can dip down to 12.3 V but springs back up so the alternator is still working someone it's just undercharging my battery.... If I mess around with the key it always starts But I'm glad I got a new alternator to fix that charging problem I had

I've got a 2010 mazda 6 and the immobiliser kicked in. The garage said they had to reprogram the key and towed it to their garage. I never heard anything from them for two days and when I phoned they said that they would communicate to mazda in Auckland to program the key. It cost me for a 3 kilometre tow and the reprogram scenario hundreds of dollars. The elongated explanation that took you 9 minutes was just as painful. Thorough, but I grew wiskers waiting for the tip. I will try it and get back update you.

I had this on my Mazda 6 2009 model, it was none of the suggested reasons above, If you take off the lid of the Fuse box in the engine compartment [ top right ] you will see two thick wires that are bolted down to the front of the fuse holder, if the right hand one [ the positive one ] has a lot of green crud on it check the end of the metal plate, mine had totally rotted away and so had the remains of the copper wire. I CNC machined a new plate from 1mm thick brass and cut back the thick wire to where it wasn't disintegrating then wrapped the brass around it and bolted it back on. It started for the first time in a month. I'm sure you could get the part from Mazda but I was in a rush.

Hi I want to buy a 2009 mazda 6 GT which is reportedly been having intermittent issue with engine shut down while driving and the key signal typically shows up. should I consider buying it and fix it if its a small issue or pass?

Painful to listen to. This sounds like a transponder ring issue.

I have 2009 mazda and developed this problem happens to be immobiliser, I got AA out after not getting started ,its done it 5 times before and locking and unlocking car again helped, then I parked at drs surgery were there is xray equipment, so after checking everything it could be AA covered thr barrel up and it started no problem, this is notorious interference on these cars ,advice from AA carry tin foil if car won't start cover key barrel with the tin foil and it starts first time ! I just tried mine today and no start covered barrel started no problem 😊 mines is older my solution removal of immobiliser as I live in the country so not required old car also but still pristine ,so that is so easier fix even as long winded 🤣🤣🤣

Did you changed the key fob? If you did and throw away the old fob then that's the problem, you also throw away the chip that connects to the ignition which is in the head of the fob. What you can do is call anyone that can program the chip of the new fob, it can be by Locksmith, Auto zone etc.

I just bought a mazda 6 2008 an it's doing this it start up but all the lights come on

Talking content without an actual solution. Save yourself some time as the switch is plastic and it wears out. Also note that the ignition unit itself develops a lot of play as it can wear out as well. Note that the starter switch is fairly common between Mazda Tributes and Ford Escapes and at this time one cost me $65 USD tax excluded. Unfortunately this didn't resolve my starting issue, so I will need to try replacing the ignition switch itself. In short, it comes down to garbage design. There are a few video's covering how simple it is to replace these.

I changed the ignition switch in my Mazda 3,and it made no difference.Also put new starter on it.Still takes intermittent no crank spells.It'll usually start after it sets a couple hours,but 1 time it sat a month.Finally started OK.Tired of paying the shop for no results.

Yo, I had the same problem! Did the key force thing, Checked the fuses..nothing...tow truck was called...he got in and said "IT WAS IN DRIVE GEAR! PUT IT IN PARK AND IT STARTED....I feel so dumb right now...but shout out to the tow ppl for not charging me

I have same problem, first time it started after 1 hour, second time when happen I have some videos where you leave the key in ignition on and after 10 min it reads or reprogrammed, so it started after 12 min. Third time when it happen , I just simply shifted from parked to neutral position and it started...

Damn this video just broke my ears and patience listening to it 🤦🏽‍♂️
