@@GregPettus that’s fair. I had this same setup and just swapped the 60mm midpipe for the 80mm corksport paired with the borla axleback. Sounds deeper, not as raspy, still need to get some fly bys and rev videos of it, currently only have a cold start video of it. Not even sure if I like it compared to the 60mm midpipe and borla

Does the midpipe make a big sound difference? I was just gonna go axleback. Corksport or Borla

Excellent editing. I check and dont think you have a front lip/side skirts video. Are those OEM or aftermarket? I have seen the aftermarket ones but not sure how paint would hold up to rock chips. Also any details on the steering wheel? Is it a different wheel or a cover? Thank you.

I know it's an old post but you finally convinced me to order the midpipe from Corksport for my Borla catback. I have a 17/ 2.0L. It's funny when you said about the neighbours not going to like it. I feel bad on my neighbours waking them up in the morning just with the Borla installed 😅. My question to you is. Do you think it would be very difficult to install the midpipe on my own?

Hehe. I try to keep it quiet. By yourself... Yeah probably. I had a friend help me to hold up the pipe and then bolt things.

I honestly have fallin in love with the cat back. I didnt think I would. I recommend cat back if you can afford it. axle is perfectly fine if not. I dont think so, because you can smell quite a bit coming out the back end. also technically not carb legal if you are removing a cat from factory. But wont throw any codes.

I'm installing mine Saturday and going for a cruise to big bear

FYI for anyone who needs to buy the gaskets, it's actually (shockingly) cheaper to just go to a Mazda dealership and buy the gaskets. From eBay after shipping it would have cost me $45, and it only cost me $30 at the dealership

Do not know if you still answer questions. But here goes I got a borla exhaust on my 2016 Mazda 3 2.5l at low rpm 800 to 2000rpm at light throttle I get a vibration in the car vibrates the mirror like subwoofer. But once I give full throttle no vibration at all. Dose your exhaust do this.

I get a grumble and feel the exhaust vibrations but doesnt rattle my car. Sounds like it maybe not bolted in all the way or missing its hangers..? Have video of this? Email is greg@gpytmfg.com

Hey man I have my 2016 Mazda 3 SP25 GT with a borla s type axle back and a k&n typhoon intake. It sounds pretty good but would you recommend the upgrade with the corksport midpipe? Does it sound better than with the stock mid pipe?

It is louder and a little more rowty. If you are into that then go for it. I think it sounds better tbh. Needs a little more refinement. Buts its going in the right direction

There should be a small screw that adjusts the headlights. Also there is a level adjuster you can buy. Be careful not to blind others

Its significantly louder. 2.0 is a little more boomy though. Actually a good person to ask is max tan. He has a 2.0 with this exact set up.

What company do you recommend for e and dyno tuning? I have a 2018 Mazda 3

The only two tunes that are available are dr tuning and OV tune. Both are a little mixed bag. Dr tuning has been controversial and seems to be minimal gains. OV tune has been good but you have to hunt for raphael, cuz matt the main guy stopped accepting our platform. Hope this helps?

Do you have the 2.0 or 2.5L? Honestly after all this time great! I have a 2.5L btw. I changed my driving so that i know how to keep it quieter when i need to. Like when the popo is behind you. But for daily not bad and on the free way not bad either. I dont have any sound deadening and its perfectly fine. Now with sound deadening it would probs make it even better

I have a 2.5. It can be droney if I stay in the low 2000 RPM too long. otherwise its minor. At cruising speeds its really minimal. Max tan has a 2.0 with this set up and he says its pretty droney.

Hey quick question, does your car has rev limiter while you are parked/neutral? My 2015 won't rev above 4000 rpm while its parked

BoogieDownProduction Money pit in a good way though I’ve never had issues with it cause I’ve maintained it properly. I’ve just dumped a lot of money into mods on it that’s why it was a money pit. And yup great track car handles amazing!

Yeah it does get a bit droney at times. Working on adding some sound deadening and other stuff to reduce the vibrations.
