While the Fake Smash Ball is easy to tell...the Fake Smash Ball magnetizes towards players, so it's hard to work around it.

@@ashesofaranea When Ultimate was first announced, a lot of people assumed it was just a Switch port of Smash 4 with some graphical touch-ups rather than a fully new game, and some people wouldn't shut up about it even after we got trailers like this.

joaquin trujillo except Infinite didn't use the same engine and recycled assests, Infinite was built from the ground up a totally new game and Smash ultimate is just smash Wii U with DLC and a balance patch.

I love how you can tell that Max doesnt play Fire Emblem games since he thinks that Marth is still relevant in the actual FE games.

Huhnet Bayonetta was significantly better than anyone else along with Cloud in SSB4 , also Smash 4 roster was huge af too. I mean balancing SSBU is gonna be huge challenge.

Yo, why does Kenny keep saying this is Smash 4.5? This game is not a port man! It's sucks that people still underappreciate the work that Daddy Sakurai been doing for this game. Even the invitational champion ZeRo said in his KZread channel that this game is definitely not a port. He said even though characters have very similar moves, it plays different. . . . . . . . . . Sorry this is just me rambling on how some dudes still thinks SSBU is a port

I admit that if not for Smash Ultimate, the Nintendo presentation would've ranged from lackluster to meh. Smash Ultimate really carried it though, so I feel it about evens out to Nintendo not winning best presentation, but definitely best overall single game.

The recent gameplay video footage of the game is pretty damn good and that I've been hearing that it's 60 FPS on both docked (1080p) and handheld (720p). The fact that it looks great and performs surprisingly well on Switch is very impressive stuff. That kind of makes we want to double dip on the game and FighterZ Pass all over again.

Daemon X Machina is made by the producer of Armored Core 2 and 3, the mech designer for Armored Core, the character designer from Fire Emblem Awakening, and I believe the director from Monster Hunter Stories and a composer from Soul Calibur. So lots of pedigree behind it.

A roster of over 65 characters if you include the echo fighters. It really makes me wonder the possibility of all the DLC characters since they won't need to fill up those slots for returning characters anymore. ARMS, Fire Emblem Three Kingdoms and Pokémon gen 6 DLC characters will definitly be included eventually, but looking at the potential of the third party characters, this roster could potentially become the best roster of any fighting game. Also let's not forget that Smash Ultimate will profably be supported througout the Switch's entire lifespan, so I would not be suprised if Smash Ultimate ends up with a roster of 100 characters.
