To be fair Kirby is the fastest character in the game (Yes faster than sonic) seeing as how he travelled from one universe to another in under 3 seconds using his warp star. Which puts him at 967,766,400,000,193,536 times the speed of light. He also escaped a universal collapse caused by Magolor. Also would you really want to see Kirby die? In cgi?

Honestly Kirby could’ve probably just taken on Galeem himself, didn’t even need to escape and free everybody. He’s that much of a fucking boss. If there’s one character in the game canonically that you’d want to protect you while the rest attack, it’d be Kirby.

Neat details in the cinematic Link tanks 3 beam hits, one for each goddess. Sonic dies trying to save Pikachu, since saving critters has been his thing in every game Bayonetta actually screws up the timing on her dodge so she doesn't get witch time but instead bat within Pit and Dark Pit are being sent away not running, and their wings fail when Paluetna bites it Wii Fit Trainer is using her up smash since it has s, you can tell since it takes longer for her to die than anyone else caught in a beam Duck is trying to save the dog Kirby was trying to fight before bailing, only makes it because he is the best pilot of warp stars, and still doesn't know how to land them.

@@justvee1835 Smash brothers is one of the very few self aware fighting games with story modes. WiFit Trainer knows what her moves can do, which is why she used one with long I frames to try and wait out the beam. Also, I think Paulatina used her reflect ability but the beam was having none of that bullshit.

I love how they do dlc. They don't start it until the game is finished, which is how it should be. Most games announce dlc, what it includes, and shows footage from it basically saying we want more money. The only dlc nintendo has been working on was the piranha plant and it's free if you buy the game and register it before January 31st.

For everyone saying stuff about Kirby let me clear up the lore. Ignoring Sakurai's obvious bias towards his boy Kirby. Kirby's star is called the Warp Star. Once it reaches top speed it literally teleports which you'll notice that Kirby vanishes right before the beam of light hits him. Kirby is regarded as one of the best star warriors to be able to pilot warp stars but he is bad at landing them which they also show. Kirby is the most powerful character in Nintendo universe.

The roster has become perfectly balanced, as all things should be. Never ask me for anything else ever again.

This isn't a case where the game is half finished and the best parts are behind a paywall, this is a *whole* game, with a few small things coming down the line. The sheer amount of content already in this game, makes the DLC acceptable. There are so many characters, items, stages, songs, and various other details within this game that even without DLC, nobody could remotely argue that this game is going to be incomplete on launch *cough MVCI cough.*

Smash is a game i will NOT be upset about having a pre-release DLC pass. They expand the roster even more. It's not a secret that some of the devs are burnt of for smash. But Smash is a game franchise with the hearts of many attached to it. But with the Switch being such a satisfying console, we probably won't see another new console for years. That being said, this game could end up like League Of Legends or Brawlhalla with an infinitely expanding roster.

People's salt over Piranha Plant is the most delicious thing in this world.

Man, Guile showing up was a pretty cool surprise, but I absolutely freaked the fuck out when I saw Akira from VF!

Funniest thing to think about: Piranha Plant/Petey Piranha has done everything Waluigi has, been a Go Karter, Tennis Player, DDR Dancer.... The only major differences: Piranha is older... And has made more appearances in WarioWare.

One of the top reasons I love this game is because this is a game that poses questions like "who will win in a fight between a goddess of light and a potted plant?"

The best part about the DLC deal was they were just supporting the idea and they hadn't actually had any of it figured out yet, *as it should be.* They're basically saying "look forward to what we're gonna cook up next" instead of "get ready for all this stuff we have already set up in the back".

Yea, I hate when people plan DLC beforehand. But this game is exempted because after all the efforts they made, I really expect it to be a final game hence Ultimate.

Nope. I bet you they already at least decided, planned and designed the dlcs but haven't fully finish all the works. Nintendo just can't take people's money and goes "Alright. What can we come up with?"

Alveldir S. - How about you give Nintendo some slack here? They're not like most game companies that decided to screw over their customers one way or another. They've always been considerate and know that fun games are more priority then looking good or getting money. That's always on the back burner and it's a big reason why I support them. They actually care about us.

I fucking thought the girl Akira was attacking looked like Sarah Bryant. I even said, "Oh yo, I guess Sarah is in it too". Then, obviously I saw that it wasn't her.

7:34 The Smash Community works differently than every other community. They actually clamor for DLC as they want a glimmer of hope for their character to make it in.

I totally didn’t even realize it at first, but Sakurai did a real deep reference with Wii Fit trainer during the final video. Sakurai actually knew about the invincibility frames with her tree maneuver and made her character attempt to do that. Talk about a niche reference. VF1 Akira, you can tell Sakurai had Jokes with the presentation. Not only did they use Zero Suit Samus because she’s the closest lookalike to Sarah Bryant, but then he fights Wolf just because he had to pun the name of one of the original VF contestants, who happens to be named Wolf.

I look back at this and smile. Piranha was a weirdo character, but also a minion character. Not with a capital M, but rather a goon or low-ranking enemy joining the roster. Sure, we got the big guys like Bowser, Ganondorf, Dedede, K. Rool, but what about the love for the lesser enemies? With this, that group finally got a rep.

Of course they would boost it to 75. That means the 25 DLC characters will bring it to exactly 100.

@ Maximilian Dood An actual good reaction video i learned a few things from and got a KZreadrs opinion on, there are so many people out there that just laugh, sing or dance though parts of the video, there are reaction videos of relatively popular KZreadrs that aren't even looking at the screen 25% of the time or just keeps cracking jokes left and right, or goes into mini rants in the middle of the video multiple times, that's why i don't watch reaction videos, but this one felt honest and was pleasant to watch, thanks.
