The reason why vision never actually did this to thanos in the actual timeline is because he was not a killer. In the main timeline he felt emotions and more over did not really want to kill people but since ultron was the one in visions his time he had not moral or sense of humanity in him so he was okay with killing thanos

I don't know, he didn't seem much shaken when he killed Corvus Glaive to save Captain America, so he might open exceptions when comes to huge situations like that. The true reason might be we simply shouldn't take What If stories too seriously, but if we want to theorize, my guess is that he was too injured and wouldn't be able to harm Thanos before he could react.

I feel that the reason Vision didn't initially kill Thanos with the mind stone is because Vision was critically injured by the time he met Thanos by Corvus Grave.

@@shadowx8145 An Absolute Point is not the same as a Nexus Event, an Absolute Point in Time is a pure event that will happen in absolute in a universe, they're all about expansion of the mcu "rules" of multi-reality, but those are different things. They didn't mention a "nexus point", but they talked about "events" and "beings". A Nexus event is when branch realities are created. Nexus beings affect the future and the flow of universal time stream, and are correlated to coherence and stability of the multiverse. All very cool stuff though. I'm loving this new phase.

@@Tonyoung55 it makes perfect sense once you realize a computer can think and process a billion times faster than any organic being. Thanos is still an organic being, a strong one to be sure but his mental capacity is nowhere near as quick as a machine is... and obviously this episode and in every other movie the speed of machine processing is slowed down immensely so WE the real life humans can enjoy them better.

Now, this is what I can truly call, “The Age of Ultron”. So glad and satisfied as a fan to see it! What an episode 💯

The Watcher still wasn't going to interfere, but Ultron found him.

Also, Ultrons appearance in the end of the last episode had to have happened after his fight with the Watcher, so that he could travel between Universes like he learned to do here. So what is the Watcher doing watching Thors party and love life when HE SHOULD BE ASSEMBLING HIS MULTIVERSE TEAM WITH STRANGE SUPREME? Was he just sad after the beatdown with Ultron and wanted to cheer up before going after him again?

Don’t think time is linear or proportional relative to multiverse jumping. Dr strange could be 1000s of years old, so could Ultron infinity. Rest of the team would be in the 21st century. Also Ultron has the time stone so anything is possible.

So basically, the number one constant in the multiverse is that Tony Stark has to get nuked down in some random way. All Doctor Strange did was use this against Thanos in order to defeat him in battle. He was 100% about sacrificing Tony's life to save the time stone. But when it boils down to it, he gives up the stone to save Tony. His plan was to delay Tony's death and funnel him toward the ultimate sacrifice. He has to die. So delaying / designing the nature of that death.... was genius. Hats of to Doctor Strange for probably not thinking of any of this crazy shit, at all.

Did anyone else realise that Ultron pulled a Death Star on Asgard?

They ever showed Mustafar in one of those worlds Ultron was pushing the watcher through. You could see Darth Vaders castle in the back 😍

@@zacharyfrierson6972 the only one I am aware of is his first ever interference with the fantastic four. And I also remember the one from the universe where Deadpool kills everyone he went for the watcher ASAP so he couldn't interfere

I’m shocked at how “The Hunger” reference is going over everybody’s heads. As in the zombie hunger virus that the watcher put in a time loop to keep it from infecting the multiverse.

The Doctor Strange Redemption Tour in full effect! Can't wait for how this multiverse war will play out. It's gratifying Ultron gets his due for after an underwhelming turn in his own movie. Excited for the finale!

This episode was an Absolute banger. I loved it.

The whole episode was just Madness. Funny enough that only Zola is capable of stopping him but couldn't because he was out of range. Makes me proud of having a human brain.

That moment when you started ignoring “Age of Ultron” as canon and making this feeling like it’s in a real timeline. The Ultron that we all deserved to get. Sinister, scarier, more brutal, more ruthless, but not James Spader.

Brings a whole new meaning when Thanos told Tony Stark he wasn't the only cursed with knowledge. Tony's knowledge will always be the death of him. Dr strange knew it as well. That's why he knew Tony's sacrifice was the only way.

A true hero not always win but is always willing to give their life to save the universe. That’s the BEST part of Captain Marvel!! Ultron had to use an incredible amount of power and destroy worlds to stop her! Proud! That fearless spirit! Willing to sacrifice herlsef is SO CAROL!!

So, here is where I see the “Vision” and brilliance of Stark. I commented on someone else’s post but wanted to share this. As we see, Ultron as Vision was exactly what Tony dreamed of when confronted by Thanos. In my imagination, if Ultron had been loyal to Tony and the cause of being a protective net around earth, the possibilities are endless. First Ultron creates Vision with the mind stone, becoming infinitely more powerful. He has access to every weapon on earth. His intelligence has no limits, therefore 24 hours a day he’s understanding and perfecting the planet destroying power of the mind stone to create weapons and scenarios to defend the earth from any threat. He maximizes the Avengers powers so they are always prepared and in the perfect position to help defend. He works with Dr Strange to maximize the unlimited potential of the time stone. He works with Thor and Asgard to do the same with the Teserac. When Thanos decides to attack, he’ll face an near unlimited powerful AI that has the entire capability of earth at its disposal, it will be able to process information at light speed for every scenario that is happening and could possibly happen. Asgard and possibly other realms could be called down to join the fight, imagine Asgardian warriors, Ice Giants etc teleporting down across the globe to strategically join the fight. It’s pretty exciting to think about and imagine, and that was Tony’s “Vision”. I’d love to see this played out in comics.

This feels like the real Endgame now. Wonder how the multiversal Avengers are gonna beat Ultron.

This episode is definitely a 100 /10 everything the story is just so good!

This was insane and this also answered immediatly how ultron got all of those infinity Stones. He just snatched them from thanos. This was fire.

Ultron is my second favorite marvel villan first being dormamu and this was amazing

The party Thor timeline is a bit confusing with Ultron showing up there, but it probably takes place before this episode. The Watcher notices Ultron, then goes to the universe where Ultron wins. He watches Ultron develop there, but through his narrating Ultron discovers him and attacks. Time is relative. The Watcher can probably jump to any point in time, so the past Watcher probably saw the future Ultron, and the Watcher inadvertently caused that to happen by checking the timeline Ultron came from.

Is it possible that Doctor Strange was looking through the Multiverse when he was finding out all the possibilities in Infinity War

The Multiverse didn't exist yet (at least not in terms of timelines), he was just looking through possibilities. It would've looked the same, but it wasn't the multiverse.

@@chasejohnson5644 if the multiverse existed after Loki, they always existed. The TVA clearly lied and kang wanted himself to be killed to continue the cycle. It was always suppose to happen, which means the multiverse always existed. We even see this in doctor strange. The only difference now is the multiverse is broken.

It's just a bunch of different worlds with different kinds of beings in them, like Dormammu. As for the entire conflict of the Loki show "clearly" being a lie, suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure. That's definitely not a bad theory

We don’t 100% know that yet about the MCU’s take on the multiverse. They haven’t spelled out if their rules may differ from the comics. We know they don’t work in the TVA. Also, all the ones we saw in the TVA were from timelines that had ceased to exist entirely. That might be a factor as well.

You guys really sucked at paying attention to the movies. No offense. Have you watched Avengers: Endgame where alternate timelines are treated as alternate universes ‘caused they based it on the actual scientific theory called “Theory on Many Verse”. They don’t follow the usual Multiverse trope, so the Infinity Stones from various universes works on another universes compared to their comic counterparts. Please stop basing MCU with comics, they’re only loosely adapting the stories and characters.

No it’s simple, Loki and the TVA all takes place in the QUANTUM REALM, which is the reason why KANG is the leader there. The quantum realm is distinct from alternate realities/multiverse, so the infinity stones can work in any universe, but not the quantum realm, ie why the infinity stones don’t work there

Strange Supreme and the Watcher vs Ultron this is gonna be epic asf!

Ultron was like when you binge an entire series in like a week. Then you feel sad and empty inside, wishing you had stretched them out a bit more. Then your friend suggests several shows with a similar vibe and you immediately start binging again, having learned nothing. lol!

This episode was absolutely amazing, only thing I will say is I wish they gave us a full out brawl between Ultron and Thanos

I got full body chills. The build up to this moment over the series is amazing, I personally as a viewer and most people I would think am comforted when the “narrator” is talking or what not and throughout the whole series the watcher is perceived as indestructible and unreachable so having this moment right after we see ultron destroy and murder all of a universe showing how powerful he is. When I saw ultrons body language shift right when the watcher was in the middle of talking like he usually does, and then speaking directly to him. Amazing. Also “I see you” so scary it’s awesome

Disney does not care about comic book rules - according to comics the stones don’t work outside there universe. If Ultron was this powerful the living tribunal would have stepped in and obliterated him.
