Vision couldn't have done that to Thanos because Vision was still damaged and not in 100% shape! Whereas Ultron here was in his prime, had his perfect body, the mind stone, AND all of Ultron's original abilities and upgrades! Not to mention this Ultron was literally BORN out of the stone itself! He has a much deeper connection to it than Vision!

He is so strong that pretty much nobody should be able to take him down or imprison him, but because of his personality and who he is, he will never go full on out, out of the fear of actually killing! Only when he turns evil it's all out. But even like that he will always go face to face with the people he knew that now stand against him. Its a character flaw that's stops him from achieving his goal. He absolutely could just fly into space and blast the whole Earth to bits killing everybody, but he won't! And never will! Same with Vision, good Vision will never go full out because of who he is. It shouldn't be possible to actually take him down or capture him and yet because of who he is / personality he has been multiple times! You can have all the power you want, but in the end you are your worst enemy!

@@udhayakumarMN Ofcourse Ultron use it to 100% since he was born from it. Vision wasn't. Vision was born from the merge of JARVIS and influence of the Mind Stone. Vision is like an advanced JARVIS. Where as Ultron is the child of the Mind Stone. Makes sense that Ultron can use it better.

It honeslty kept bothering game that they kept complaining about the voice actor who did Ultrons voice because I thought he did a pretty good job compared to what he had to live up to. Also, they might have asked spader and he might not have had the time or wanted to.

Compared to the guy doing Tony he was great imo, because I just can't hear any of RDJ's charisma or personality in it. Especially when we have the people doing Peter and Nat giving fairly convincing performances, and Josh Keaton as cap, who I'm just glad to hear, does a good job, not spot on, but still invokes enough of Chris to stand in for his voice.

To be fair at one point Galactus was driven to hunger by a rogue Celestial to make him destroy the whole Omniverse. That beats anything Ultron did. Plus Galactus is stronger than the Watcher so he would have given Ultron a good fight but apparently he doesn't exist.

For those unaware. The only technical time a Watcher can interfere is to save their own life or if a disaster involves their technology or Home World. The watcher also frequently watches other universes outside the one he is on and his assigned planet, so his home world is technically not on the universes he observes.

The best episode by far. Finally something good to talk about!

How ironic is it that Thanos got sliced in "HALF". Thanos wants to wipe half of the universe. LMAO!

He doesn’t need to snap to use one of the stones. We saw that when Loki tried to off him. This Thanos had a brain fart and didn’t use the stones as soon as a laser was aimed at his crotch. I imagine there’s a few universes where the same match up happened, but Thanos thought to use the stones as soon as he saw somebody with the Mind stone in their head.

So Xandar Asgard and Nowhere have already been wrecked by thanos getting the power stone, tesseract, and reality stone and then Ultron rolls up and finished the job.

Actually the punch through realities is something a future Avenger does normally, but America Chavez just does it like a star shaped door.

You have to think 2 use the stones. Thanos didnt think fast enough to defend Visions attack

The biggest thing that bugged me was that in Loki, the infinity stones basically were useless outside of their own timeline or universe. Yet Ultron was able to use his in multiple universes and outside reality where the Watcher was.

The watchers race is actually called "watchers". He isn't an eternal or any other species. This particular watchers name is "Uatu". He is the watcher that makes the most appearances in the comics.

I like how Supreme Ultron came off as Agent Smith as he hunted/fought The Watcher!

Ultron killing Thanos so easily illustrates how powerful Vision is, and how much he holds back when he fights. Vision, unlike Ultron, doesn't have the destruction of all organic life as a goal so when he fights he only use enough power to overcome his adversary.

Part of this episode takes from the comic version of Age of Ultron when it starts on a post apocalyptic world where Ultron took over everything on Earth

That moment of Thanos cut in half was so fucking cool. And no suspending of disbelief, Thanos IS dead from that.

The watcher is a cosmic being as well as the stones. Not that confusing they would almost match power

Adding to what the guy with the dreads said, (spidey?) first of all, not everyone that has the same power thinks of using that power the same way, so just because Ultron thinks of splitting thanos in half & doesn’t mean vision thought about it, even though vision can cut him in half, if he doesn’t get the idea to do it, then he’s probably not going to do it second, if you shoot someone fast enough they’re not going to be able to use the infinity stones to protect themselves, just because he has the infinity stones doesn’t me he’ll be able to react fast enough to everything else to protect himself, unless he uses the stones to increase his reaction time or something, they don’t passively defend their user and third, even if thanos DID react fast enough, thor threw stormbreaker at thanos when he had all SIX of the infinity stones and thanos was shooting stormbreaker with all of the stone’s power, but it still stabbed into his chest, if storm breaker can do that, I’m pretty sure even if thanos had actually reacted fast enough, another infinity stone still would have been able to break through

I don’t think self defense especially when it’s outside of the universe, counts as interfering. Even inside the universe I wouldn’t call that interfering. It’s just self defense.

Anybody notice that this story is basically DC comics crisis on infinite earths... The story that inspired Marvel to create the infinity gauntlet. The Watcher is basically the Monitor, Ultron is the Anti-monitor and the Evil Doctor Strange is basically Pariah. Both stories the multiverse is in danger.

It’s in the watchers own words,he’s seen everything past and present and the now He is narrating,remember he’s seen it all play out before,he’s telling us the story of each universe, where the story plays out differently to the one we know. Only this time something has changed It could be because he has never spoken,just watched as things played out across the multi verse,but only now by narrating for us,has unwittingly interfered. ultron has obtained a higher level of consciousness (the watcher said it himself)able somehow to hear the watcher speaking. If you remember Dr strange was only able to see and hear the watcher after becoming super powerful. The watcher didn’t help strange because strange had effectively made a prison for himself, With no threat to the other universes. Somehow ultron has become a nexus being with the help of the stones,now able to cross into the multi verse,..strange also has that ability. Remember his only function was to bring peace But to ultron peace means the destruction of every living thing. He said it himself,”all these worlds need me”! His goal now is to destroy every living thing,in every single universe! I think it’s obvious strange and the watcher have to bring a set of new avengers together to do battle with ultron before the multi verse ceases to exist!
