@@arcuslux516 they literally explained it. The watcher knew Killmonger would try to keep the stones. Anyone who knew Zola would know he would just take Ultron's body and do the same. The idea was to keep the stones out of everyone's hands and keep them in a pocket dimension

@@arcuslux516 I think the Watcher foresaw the necessity of Zola’s intervention, and needed someone who was stubborn/determined enough to attempt to claim the stones and get locked in a struggle against Zola, for the stones for all eternity. That way, that set of stones is locked away so no multiversal wanderer can just pick them up and wander off. Might as well choose a character destined to lose who was about to be killed anyway.

@@eduardopantoja9115 I mean the explanation is pretty simple, dr strange. He was carrying the whole team. The protection spell, the distractions. Strange had absorbed energy to make an entire universe collapse, that kind of power would be insane! But even Ultron was starting win against Strange. Without Zola they would have lost. Nothing in that fight seemed easy.

Chris Hemsworth was such a highlight playing Thor, you could tell he was having so much fun with it, and his voice acting was amazing.

I think the teamwork is part of what makes them the perfect team in all the multiverse. Party Thor being like “I trust everyone” made carter be able to trust kilmonger, the Thor that we know would never trust him because he’s been betrayed too much by Loki, that’s actually the distinctive difference between them here

Semi-evil but not evil Dr. Strange, with all those monsters inside him. Impressive AF. Need more of that dude.

I can’t wait for season 2 of this show. I hope Disney considers making the episodes longer I feel they’d be even better and feel more fleshed out if they were 45 minutes to an hour long.

But it's animated... 30 minutes is a blessing by animations standards. It isn't as easy to up the episode length than it is with live action. Even an extra 10 minutes is a ton more work and time, and especially budget, that's needed.

I was a little lost at first when they recruited Gamora from Sakarr, and was like “oh did their episode get cut for the sake of time?!” Also the last moments of the episode where they tied in episode 3 by sending Nat there to join them as her new universe

“What If ...?” has truly been a dream come true for me. I don’t read a whole lot of comics but the ones that peak my interest the most I’d say are what if comics. I feel like they captured the vibe of the what if comics perfectly but with its own lil mcu flair. It made its way to #1 on my list and I can’t wait to see if No Way Home or Multiverse of Madness can take that top spot lol

Tbh Supreme Strange carried that fight lol. Oh and Arnim Zola had his "comic book like" appearance with the big digital face on the chest in this episode. I also feel like armored Gamora was just out of place or put in here for the Infinity Stone Crusher because they didnt give an episode for her.

Loved it! Need a real world version of Captain Carter. Hope Hailey's been doing her cross fit for it already. Loved that she and Nat are close in one of the Multiverses. Same with Tony and Gamora; I liked the idea of them being a team somewhere out there, as she would keep his ego in check. I wonder if the missing episode was about how they started to work together? Loved the brief appearance of Zombie Wanda. Even though it's Ultron using Vision's body, she still doesn't want to kill him, because in her Multiverse she loves him. Interesting that Ultron had to explode that world to kill her. Strange. Wow. His powers were off the charts in this. It made me doubt most of the spoilers I've seen about MoM. I loved how he was able to create a type of armor around the Guardians. Killmonger, have fun in your prism! But was Interesting because he offered them good endings. T'Challa. That his last scene is saving Quill and teaching him to fight was oddly touching. It seems like no matter what universe he's in, he's just a good guy.

Although I seen the episode first time in the morning, I was dying to see your reaction. Love you guys....

So far my fav Disney+ MCU shows are: 1) Wandavision - the last episode and Sword aside, I felt this series was the boldest and most well-constructed overall. It made me care for two characters that I otherwise didn't really think much about from the MCU movies. The Scarlet Witch transformation was just hype personified. 2) Loki - A very close second to Wandavision. It perhaps has the best world-building out of all the live-action series. However, I just felt like the vibe was a bit off throughout the series, probably as it really felt like everything was filmed on a giant greenscreen throughout. I felt they could've perhaps gone even further in their concept for this series. The reveal of He Who Remains was great though. 3) What If - I agree that each episode could've done with an extra 10 mins, but overall it was a very enjoyable series. I wish the lasting implications on the MCU as a whole was more clear, since it does ultimately feel like side-stories with zero implications to the movies so far. 4) Falcon and the Winter Soldier - I get the idea behind this series, and I like the themes of race, equality, etc which it was going for. However, I felt the execution and pacing was perhaps the worst of all of them. The speech of Captain America in the last episode to the world leaders perhaps sums up the issues with the series the best - it is saying the right things, but ultimately it ends up sounding very preechy without going into how such problems can be solved. Matpat's vid on this on filmetheory sums it up the best I feel.

My man Supreme Strange carried them so hard during the whole battle, they would've been doomed without him. Edit: Where the hell is the Living Tribunal in all this?! It's his job to keep the balance within the multiverse, to stop one universe from having more or less power than the other universes.

The Watcher picking Killmonger as part of the team was planned to bring justice to Tony and T'challa in that universe. As Strange said, the watcher already saw it happening.

Did Supreme Dr. Strange literally mean when he said that the stone must separate from the body? Make sense to me because the Mind stone is in Vision's "head", not in the body.😅

1)stpehen carried everyone's ass for the entire episode 2)BTW if they're doing a s2,I need more armani and the watcher together 3)the episode was good,it felt very rushed but it made sense 4)overall the whole show has been great,its faithful to the comics and Jeff Wright is amazing

I just wish we would’ve gotten some mind-bending cliffhanger lol but oh well we still got plenty of that on the way

honestly i just love how this episode redeems strange and not just leave him all alone to suffer, hes got a chance to use his eldritch horror skills to good use

Ultron used his Time stone to slow down time. Strange Supreme used his stone to counteract that effect.

@@RaiNBowShine999 That rule comes from the comics. In the MCU, the TVA apparently resides in its own pocket dimension where nothing "magical" works, whether Infinity stone or Loki magic.

When I watched the episode A question appears in my head And the question is "WHERE THE HELL IS SPIDER-MAN!?!?"

Doctor Strange's episode is definitely my favorite. Loki and WandaVision are still my top Disney+ Marvel shows. But this and Falcon & Winter Soldier are both still great.

This episode was the cherry on top. Yes we would like to see the story of gamora just because everyone else made sense being there. Killmonger playing both sides shows us that he's always trying to be on top. Really loved the action and the story about it, Doctor Strange showed us how powerful he can be.

This was a GREAT finale! But i can’t help but feel Ultron was too easily defeated, he was shown chomping down into a galaxy, and he got knockback from two shields?

I see what you are saying, in the comics dr strange is the sorcerer supreme and the most powerful magic user in Marvel he can defeat gods on a daily basis but he is still mortal, he can be shot stabbed and tortured similarly Ultron as an AI is susceptible to another AI which acts as a virus against him

Ngl, kind of disappointed he got beaten so easy in the end, all the stones and he gets smacked around by two shields, lmao. The Watcher and Strange couldn't handle him but two non-powered heroes save the day. Sheesh!

I think the Watcher didn't take Tony, and took Killmonger, is because it was a "This was the only way" kind of situation.

If there is a next season, I'd like to see Killmonger vs. Loki, but come up with a plot device so they are equals in powers. Backstabber vs. Backstabber.

Your reactions are the best! To be honest, wasn’t looking forward to this series but it was amazing! I agree, this episode could have been so much longer but it wrapped everything up nicely!

This series really put some respect into Strange, I love it. Seeing just how ridiculously powerful Strange Supreme is(if he isn't multiversal scale himself, he's probably as close to one can be without all the stones or being a Watcher, from what the MCU has established so far). The fact he can effortlessly just *eat a galaxy nuke attack* firmly makes me think the tentacle monster they've been showing off repeatedly in this series that he ultimately ate was Shuma-Gorath now, because nonchalant galactic destruction power output and durability is just like kinda Shuma's thing? The scary thing to remember is, if this is indeed Shuma, Strange Supreme only absorbed a few tentacles and is already this strong. A full powered Shuma is going to be next level strength, and they may need to bring Strange Supreme into the movies to even stand a chance against it.

Marvel finally showed Doctor Strange in all his glory... LOVE IT! Most powerful magician there is

Such an awesome finale 😊 also, it's likely the sad truth, which makes sense, that the heroes lost against Zombie Thanos and now the world is overrun by them lead by Thanos. Also, it looks like the Hulk and Banner didn't survive.

Biggest takeaway from this episode - Thats gotta be Strange Supreme in FFH! The cockiness was oozing and seemed lke the exact attitude of Strange in FFH trailer. Loved this finale, been rare I've got proper giddy and the use of stones, powers certainly did that.

This episode was dizzyingly fast-paced, so much so that I feel the need to watch it again. I would have loved another ten minutes just to let the story "breathe" a little. At least a couple more conversational beats between the Guardians. Too short!
