Also, to be fair, I think they wanted to focus more on characters where they were able to get the original voice actors, and RDJ didn't reprise Tony for What If?.

@@greybird1321 but that's why there was a whole team, strange would've struggled if he tried to do that all alone. he needed everyone to keep attacking ultron with their different skillsets - therefore forcing ultron to adjust how he was going to counter each attack - while he did his thing and supported them from the sidelines until he had an opening to use his own powers offensively. the natasha and captain carter combo attacks and t'challa stealing the soul stone were key to taking the evil robot bitch down too. and i guess that thor's whole goofy himbo personality helped by making ultron underestimate them at the beggining as well... so yeah, teamwork and the power of friendship and stuff!

This episode was a bit bitter sweet. It’s the final time we’ll ever see Chadwick Boseman in the MCU.

Strange Supreme in this episode is THE definition of a support caster. Like, he got defense covered. Buffing their attacks (multiplying Mjolnir). Probably enhancing their speed and empowering their jumps too (though Peggy has super serum so she can already jump crazy). Plus he has some secret (or not) DPS and of course, even some control when he chained Ultron down for the Infinity Crusher.

If you're all wondering about the Gamora episode, here's what happened. Executive producer A.C. Bradley has revealed that Season 1 wound up being one episode shorter than planned due to some pandemic-based production setbacks. That lost episode is reportedly set in a universe where Tony Stark never makes it back through the portal at the end of The Avengers.

Lol because the watcher knew Zola couldn’t be trusted. He would use the stones once inside Ultrons body. You are just replacing one evil ai with another. So they needed someone else that could betray them and go for the stones. So the stones would be separated from the body.

Call back to Thor: Ragnarok when he was in Sakaar and tied to his chair and was shown the holodeic past of Sakaar only for him to scream and then suddenly in front of an audience.

I love how the only use for Killmonger in the team was to create a struggle with Zola after Ultron was defeated. Giving enough time for Strange to lock them in a pocket reality. It's insane how the last 2 episodes were incredibly thought out and well delivered.

At 19:19, if you can remember in The Avenger's, when Loki was caught and put inside a containment capsule intended for the Hulk, Natasha Romanoff was able to sneak behind Loki without him noticing. He even praised her for being one of the extremely few people who could do it. I guess this answered the question?

Biggest handicap when wielding the Infinity Stones. During the Marvel vs DC comic, Darkseid had managed to get his hands on the Infinity Gauntlet. This in turn made everyone piss their pants as the glove itself can mold the entire universe in his image. However... in this dialogue: *Apokolips* Darkseid: You have invaded my domain, bested my parademons, abused my personal guard... and for what? Flash: Uh-- Darkseid: For This? Hawkeye: Dear sweet god in heaven-- that's the Infinity Gauntlet! And this guy-- he looks worse than Thanos, if that's even possible! He could reorder Time, Space, Reality--! Man of all the times for Wanda to decide she had to take half our strength back home...! Darkseid: Yes, this is clearly what they seek-- And I can feel the Matrices of Power within the Gems. But it seems dead-- it does nothing. Why is that? Desaad: Our... our investigations have been comprehensive, Lord Darkseid... Given the time constraints. I know that everyone knew from the beginning that Killmonger wasn't to be trusted, but I personally think that was part of the reason why The Watcher "chose" him - so he could punish him for his crimes himself, rather than leaving his fate to "chance" in his own reality.

No, the Watcher calculated the team that can excuse his plan to stop Ultron completely, which is why he rather chose that than a team of strongest warriors that can beat Ultron. Killmonger is there so he would buy time struggling with Zola so Strange could lock them up completely. He knows that when Ultron is defeated, Zola will be the new threat (which have the same power as Ultron). My man playing 5D chess

Wait I just remembered, that all stones doesn't affect someone from another variety. When Gamora said that "the crusher was built to destroy the stones from our universe, not theirs." Meaning that, you still hold the power of the stones without getting hurt. Since killmonger is from different earth, it doesn't affect him because this is not his stones.

ngl when I saw this 20:20 I thought the marvel darkhold iron man and I am both happy and sad we are not getting that horror story.

The *WHAT IF...?* concept was a bumpy ride from start to finish. And the characters who become waaaay different than the MCU counterparts. Hope to see *The Watcher* in a Season 02.

The watcher could’ve got the most powerful team if he only recruited doctor strange from different multiverses

This season finale of "what if...?" Was epic but there's still many of "what if...?" Universes just waiting to be discovered but that's another season for another time if you know what I mean

Am I the only one that I found it both poetically just and yet sort of messed up that Uatu essentially used Killmonger as a scapegoat for Ultron's Infinity Stones? I know Killmonger deserved it, but he was being played the whole time and didn't even know it.
