Yes, totally! She did an amazing job creating the score for every occasion that happened in the show and giving it the intensity, the darkness, the lighthearted emotion, the dramatic and poignant satisfaction, and tugging on the heartstrings. I want her to be the composer for Avengers 5 and Avengers: Secret Wars

OMG her music playing in the background as Loki ascended to his new and sadly sacrificial throne had me tearing up. When your art is so good that it causes the audience to weep in response, know that you've achieved something truly precious in my opinion. I hope she realizes how important her contribution was.

When Loki wanted a throne, he couldn't have it. Now, when he didn't want a throne, he had to take it. I love that's how he got finally his Glorious Purpose. This season finale made me cried !

That final scene was fuckin perfect Not only does he finally gets his throne, but him getting the throne was the answer all along ALSO ALIATH FINALLY ATE THAT BITCH LET'S GOOOO

​@@Oropher420he probably did. Remember, All HWR wanted was to make sure his variants didn't go loose. Loki did technically modify the TVA to take the Kang variants out, while also fulfilling his own wish of giving everyone free will. Just think about it. HWR is smart enough to predict just about everything Loki and Sylvie would do. You think he would give Loki time manipulation powers and not expect Loki to master them and do his own thing?

HWR knew Loki and Sylvie wouldn't take his offer the first time around, so he had to let Loki watch for himself what happens when they kill HWR and unleash the multiverse. Thne give him the timeslipping powers so Loki could return to the Citadel and to that moment. He Who Remains expected Loki to cave in and kill Sylvia and take HWR's place in the Citadel at the End of Time so that HWR would finally be free to do whatever he pleased. HWR _certainly didn't_ expect Loki to find "a different way".... because with Loki's sacrifice ending, HWR is still dead.

One of the best character arcs in the MCU, from wanting a throne, to wanting nothing but friends, then ending up getting the one thing he feared, being all alone

I hope Loki season 2 wins all the upcoming awards. The show truly deserves everything !!

Such a great character arc it has been for TVA Loki, I never knew about his arc about becoming the God of Stories but it was such a brilliant choice to make for this series. I really hope Thor can visit him sometime in the future of the MCU to see that his brother had good in him all along

There is the difference between the actor who know the source material, and the one doesn't. They put so much love on their project, they care about the audience.

I don’t think some of them realize Loki basically Has to stay there and hold the Universe Intact with his hands, he has to be alone but as long as his friends are Safe he’s Fine with that It’s a necessary sacrifice to keep them alive.

Seeing all those green timelines reminded me of the Mako Lifestream from Final Fantasy VII. Also, Loki’s conversation with He Who Remains was my favorite scene. At first he was still playful and cracking jokes, but he took the conversation-and Loki-more seriously when they talked about the Loom.

As a fellow person with ADHD, I agree with Ishara: being in Loki's new position would be hell. It might be entertaining and interesting at first, but then it will become boring and repetitive. (The actual task of dealing with the various timeline branches, that is. This show---both seasons---was beyond amazing! One of the best things to come out from Marvel/MCU!!!)

Agreed and agreed. This show blew my expectations out of the water, especially in season 2. Admittedly, I went in expecting for it to be mediocre overall. It has made it to be very precious to me. There's only 2 other tv shows from Disney that have turned out the same way (blew my expectations out of the water). Ever. So I cherish them, even if I find Disney to be in need of restructuring.

After in the end, Loki achieved that all this time he only sought to have a throne that could define what he is and give his meaning to knowing about his existence. It is a heartbreaking moment...it hurts that he is alone and they have given him so that his own narrative would give more depth and perfect development. It is the greatest thing that Marvel has done for the character and the entire long journey that Tom Hiddleston took. I adore him very much, and I hope it's not the last time seeing him. I still have faith in that!😭😭💚💚

The disrespect to the Original Loki that sacrificed his life and got choked out by Thanos. Y’all know he had a redemption arch that was what Ragnarok did. Show the OG Loki some respect.

That "Welcome he who remains" foreshadowing loki will become the next HWR. Great detail there👍

Loki chose his burden. What an incredible finale.

Loki has one of the greatest character arcs of all time. He started the show as a god who wanted to rule everyone and everything in the universe for selfish reasons, to a god who selflessly watches over and protects the MULTIVERSE, in isolation, from a throne outside of time and space. Mobius told him that he needed to choose which burden he could live with to fulfill his purpose, and as heavy as it was, this was the only choice in which all of his friends and family as well as all of the people of the multiverse would be saved. He is a true hero now. My heart absolutely breaks that this Loki is now and possibly always will be alone, but at least he can watch over everyone he cares for from afar. ALL HAIL LOKI, THE GOD OF STORIES!!!!

I recommend watching him talking to BBC 1 interview with Ali Plumb. It's even more emotional hearing Tom talk about the moment he thought about and chose to say "I know who I need to be. For you. For all of us." Referring back to the beginning, Thor 1. And how he cried and it cut to a bts look at him bent over, how he cried before that final shot at the end. Tom was the one that ultimately got me into the MCU. I was a little late to the party but coming across a video with "some guy" named Tom Hiddleston, dressed up as a Loki at a Hall H at a San Diego Comic Con. I was hooked. I thought, "This guy. I don’t know who he is but i like him, i love him already!" For someone to dress up as their character and control a crowd like Freddy Mercury would 😅 Which reminds me, you cannot convince me otherwise....Freddy Mercury....was a Loki variant 💚 with a more shy and soft side in every day life. But on the stage.....😅

Little late but I have to appreciate the editing. The bouncing off of each reactor, connecting what is being said to the other in tight cutting succession is impressive.

Loki is definitely the best MCU show and the best MCU proyect since Endgame. Just look at all they made in only 12 episodes. And Loki crowns himself as the best developed character of the MCU. His character arc through these 14 years has been amazing. It's sad he had to leave all his friends behind to save them and the entire multiverse, taking the throne he once wanted but not anymore. Burden with glorious purpose. This was beautiful, and epic. We shall never forget Loki (If he doesn't come back, like he always does XD).

Not only was this a brilliant episode (along with episode 4), but it was easily the best finale of the Disney+ MCU shows. At the beginning, Loki was an arrogant jerk who felt that he was entitled to be a ruler and have a throne. He went on to sacrifice his way of life to save everything, ironically getting a throne in the process. It's sad yet brilliantly done. Also, huge props to composer Natalie Holt who I think composed the best TV soundtrack of the year.

I remember Elder Loki in Season One yelling "Glorious Purpose!" when he sacrificed himself. It seemed that for the Loki, the Glorious Purpose was always to sacrifice himself. Same as Tony Stark...his journey was from Iron Man 1st movie to Avengers: End Game. Playboy Billionaire Philanthropist to the one who died to bring back half of the Universe. The writers of this show are amazing, bringing together the various Loki resources/storylines to this Epic series. Bravo! And...Loki's story continues 🙂

Well, Tom Hiddleston already said season 2 was the culmination of 14 years playing Loki. So, there won't be a season 3. However, who knows if he is going to return for Avengers : Kang Dinasty

that was a good catch that loki was watching mobius (and probably all his friends) the whole time. he has that to keep him entertained. or he could use his loki duplication magic to show up anytime he wants.

When the view pulled out to show Yggdrasil, I audibly gasped. Wonderful storytelling right there, and as horribly muddled as the whole 'multiverse' stage of the MCU has been, this is a nice attempt to try and pull everything back into what could be considered a cohesive whole again.

I waited so long for this vid, thanks for the remarkable work and effort you put in all of this. This season finale was so good and the theory that the time stone is green because of Loki lives rent free in my mind

Mobius staring at his own life in the end really is sad. He looks at his two kids which he doesnt have any memories whatsoever. This is what he could have been, and he will never be. 😢😢😢

I like that with the nature of time travel as they have laid out the fact that Loki is now at the heart of Yggdrasill(or the worlds tree) basically means that Loki was the cause of Yggdrasill to form from the beginning we're just seeing it now but with the time travel element it always was (and I think I melted my brain)

Only thing I'd would've loved to see is when Loki was walking out to the Loom there was a brief voice over of Thor from Thor Ragnarok when he told Loki "you could be so much more brother".

This series was really fun to watch. I can’t wait to see what you do next with the MCU shows like the rest of Ms Marvel ad the new stuff coming out, especially with What If? Season two, and Echo
