Oh man, when I was a teenager in the late 90s I used to think this exact guitar was the radest instrument ever after getting really into the Cubanos Postizos album. I tried to create a cheap version of it by buying an Epiphone 335 and fitting black dog ear P-90s to it, before P-90s were cool again haha. Decades later I saw Marc in London tearing it up on the exact same guitar with Spiritual Unity. I finally almost bought an identical ES-125 I stumbled upon in Ishibashi music in Shanghai but because it was from the 60s and originally a cheap instrument the neck was fairly shot. It's wild to sit here now and see an advert on KZread for the exact instrument I used to covet as a kid!
I like his sound !
I owned the 1964 version of this model for years
mi héroe de la guitarra 🤩
Grande Marc !!!
Quel que soit le modèle de guitare, il arrive toujours à en tirer la quintessence, quel musicien !
Great!
Niiiiiiiiiiice!
wow
nice
How much did this sell for? Too bad it's already sold, I would have been seriously interested. I met Marc after a concert a couple of weeks ago.
What price was it listed at? Hope Marc was able to get his coveted SG
What a great sounding amp too. Can anyone tell me what is that?
Never trite, boring or cliche. First Call session man.
Did he say he wouldn’t be parting with it.. but he wants to get a “fantastic SG”? Odd.. they’re such different guitars- maybe he has more great old archtops so, this one is expendable?
still not convinced this guy knows how to play guitar
I have a '65 one so suck eggs.........
Sounds like it needs new strings and slightly more amp volume.
Just finished your book.
