the last note harmonized with the dog, haha so amazing!
My guess is that this is a hybrid - a cross between the New Yorker and Excel models. The neck is totally Excel, while the body and tailpiece are New Yorker.
Hey I saw this guitar for sale on reverb a few years ago
sexxy
Gorgeous Gorgeous Gorgeous
Really nice Hilary...Jack Baker p.s. great sounding banjo too...
Meloy. schugaA Feeling

See, you don't need big hands ya big lazy cry babies
The picking in this is just wild, it seems so intuitive and sounds unreal
Beautiful tone. Just lovely.
beautiful voicing. what song is he playing?
Great playing. Did that have a case or some sort of bag? Thanks
Bravo!
Campi the Great!
Woohoo!!!!!
When I was a kid starting to learn jazz guitar this was THE guitar...
I could listen to that all day long beautiful
Is this a guitar playing ninja?
Sounds great !. Not an Alden’s model as indicated in the Retrofret link. The gold ones with the “tribal” headstock logo were made around ‘56/‘57 for Montgomery Wards…..Montgomery Wards Model 8379. Thanks for posting !
I saw him during the Disfarmers tour, in a small city close to Paris. Great memories of a lovely evening
Beautiful, absolutely stunning!!!
We need some Western Swing on that thing!
Too compress
Thnaks Bill, that was sweet
God, this is so beautiful....aren't we lucky?!
that's nice!
I saw you smile
That guitar is never going to want anyone else to play it.
My fave in the 1930s Style 2, it has that classic uke sound. The ones from the 20s are good too. The 1950s were not as bright sounding to me.
Ooh! I have that guitar! It's my favorite one to play.
Forever I will have memories of Steve Howe tearing his up with Yes in early 1975 on the Relayer tour and every show thereafter through 2015! Legend.
Spectacular...😎👏👏👏👏
Beautiful and inspiring
Not sure how I missed this all these 3 years. Drop D playing, sweet as pie, on one of the coolest guitars ever.
Stunning guitar
Power chords hit like flaming sparks from a cannon
I had to familiarize myself with the tune first as it’s been awhile.. Just funny how it reaches a moment after you do the initial sketch and throw it back down again where I say, “god he knows what he’s doin…”
Familiar with the Norman Blake version. Did he write that?
pretty awful
I love the way the guitar looks but not that amplifier tone
How do you keep it from sliding off your lap?
what are you playing with that masterpiece instrument ?????
George is a great player and a super kind guy if you ever visit Retrofret
When God plays acoustic ❤
smoothest pedal steel, wow
Lloyd Loar would approve!
Magic Jack. Real music. No clichés and no shredding and no posing. Hard to find. Go well sir!
So badass, thank you saving and restoring it
