There is an "all you can eat" Chinese buffet here in town. On two occasions I have seen a gipsy couple stack up several dishes so high that the food rolls off and onto the floor. They eat about a tenth of it then leave the remainder for the employees to toss out. I spoke to the owner about it. He knows it very well and said he was going to limit them to two dishes and not allow them to fill up until the food upon them are eaten. The issue is not "eating TOO much" but wasting too much.

I totally and have long understood the concept of "don't fill up on starches." However, I have never understood why someone would go eat somewhere and avoid food they like because they are trying to get "their money's worth." To me, it was worth every dime I spent if I enjoyed the food. If that means downing crab legs; great. But if it means enjoying some huge helpings of Mac n cheese and hushpuppies; also great. I honestly don't care that the buffet is going to make a healthy profit off of me. As a matter of fact, I tend to think "good on them" for it. At the end of the day, for a still relatively inexpensive price; I get to sample a wide variety of food, have multiple cravings quenched at the same time, and I almost always roll away happy.

I agree, I go and enjoy a nice variety of foods it would be feasible to make at home. Eat a moderate, meal,of different tastes for the money spent. Trouble I found is usually overeating and feeling to full and this a bit uncomfortable.

@@Hambone571 I know that feeling. I'm pretty good these days about eating in moderation, but when the buffet calls, even when I'm feeling full, I still find myself wandering over to the desert section and wanting all the pies and ice cream. Nothing worse than when my tastebuds and stomach disagree and my tastebuds win.

The only time I go to unlimited buffets or such thing is when I have very less budget for the whole day , so what is do is when my parents are not a t home I go to such places and eat enough food which will satisfy me taste wise and tummy wise ( my appetite is quite big) for the rest of the day , cuz for me at the end of the keeping my tummy full matters a bit , what you say is also right at the end its a person's appetite and budget which makes them either eat quality or quantity wise . If I go to a place e where I like something , it can only get me lunch only and there will be no money left for dinner . So I such cases I think unlimited buffets are a good option

The Wall Street Journal had an article that researched why certain restaurants were successful or not. Given the assumption the entrees were cooked well enough and tasty enough, the Journal concluded what made a restaurant successful was the diners always were given huge portions of food. Successful restauranteurs made sure there were enough food the diners HAD to take the excess home in doggy bags. THAT was the primary factor that made restaurants successful. I know for a fact if I bring home doggy bags from a restaurant that when I eat the reheated leftovers I say to myself, "That was a great restaurant. I've got another meal or two out of the leftovers."

John 14:6 I Am The Way The Truth And The Life No Man cometh to the Father Except Trough Me. and you are saved by Grace Trough Faith not by works, we cannot save urselfs from sin we don't get to go to heaven because we don't get to go to heaven because we are a Good People we are not!, we cannot earn ur salvation it is given to us as a Free Gift all we need to do is receive it! Romans 3:23 For All have sinned and Felt Short of the Glory of God. There is none Good but God!, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10: Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. He said he could do about 50 and I usually do 40 and he ended up only eating about 10 and I had to eat 80 in total to make sure we didn't have to pay. I'm surprised they let us order that many at once.
