M1 Abrams Shows Off Its Extreme Firepower

The M1 Abrams is a third-generation American main battle tank. The M1 Abrams entered service in 1980 and serves as the main battle tank of the United States Army and formerly of the United States Marine Corps (USMC).
There are three main operational Abrams versions, the M1, M1A1, and M1A2, with each new iteration seeing improvements in armament, protection, and electronics.
The latest upgrades consist of commander's independent thermal viewer, position navigation equipment, a full set of controls and displays linked by a digital data bus, improved fire control system, remotely operated stations (CROWS or CROWS II), color displays, better interfaces, better front and side armor, an upgraded transmission for better durability and more.
The main armament of the M1A1 and M1A2 is the M256 120 mm smoothbore gun(an improved variant of the Rheinmetall 120 mm L/44 gun carried on the German Leopard 2).
The M1 Abrams's powertrain consists of an AGT1500 multifuel gas turbine capable of 1,500 shaft horsepower.
About 10000 M1 Abrams tanks were produced since the 80s.

It’s so funny how people are saying “oh yeah but how will it do against the T14 or it can get destroyed just like any other tank” yes it can get destroyed but it has proven itself in combat and also Russia has been learning how it feels to lose tanks the hard way can’t wait to see if some more “Modern Russian Tanks” will end up in the west they will make good museum pieces

yeah man say we were taking this town in afghan about 4 - 5 years ago and we were pinned inside of a house next thing i hear is 1 Abrams coming down the road showing the shit to the enemy. i think i saw a AC130 at one point to but like every soldier you only remember firefights and shit like that clearly. or thats me at least...

Non of those you mentioned compared to the Israeli Merkava mark 4. The only most active main battle tank in the world! and the only one to prove effective on battle

The T14 is a tank of another generation, and it is certainly the best, and among the old Merkava mark 4 tanks the best.

Yeah the T14 is average at best it’s and if any of you think it’s effective where is it because it’s not showed up in ukraine and probably never will it was designed to look good and shock the west but never see combat
