Tom here! What a night Dilly boy. Our first big debut. 5 x “Home Sweet Home 👀”- those were my personal highlights. That really was an absolutely brilliant night (from what I remember!). I actually swapped t shirts in KFC with Seb Bach - he was one big dude too. At that time, he was just one of the lads - a rock fan. Very happy times. Another great pod lads!!!

What an awesome gig. The start of many amazing gigs and nights that we experienced. Happy days. I remember the t-shirt now you mention it

What a gig. Unfortunately I didn't meet any bands flying out of Stansted Airport as a majority of the Moscow Music Peace Festival line up flew out from there. I was on holiday and no one thought to ring me at the time. However I did meet Bon Jovi band and Skid Row when they flew back to play Milton Keynes bowl. Good episode again guys.

I was stationed in the UK at the time. I attended the 2 November show. My buddy and I left RAF Upper Heyford in Oxfordshire on a train bound for High Wycombe. From there, we took a taxi, if memory serves. Had to miss the Jailhouse Rock encore to get back to the train station. Was a fantasic night, for sure.

Great show. I went both nights to Birmingham NEC, slept rough on the Friday at the Arena. After the cancellation in 88 (had tickets for Sheffield and Birmingham) the anticipation was huge. It didn’t disappoint, Crüe were my number 1 at the time and I was down the front both gigs. Had already seen Skid Row at Milton Keynes and the Marquee and was a huge fan. Very good bill for the money. There was a Feelgood program, I bought one.

Another great episode; don't have to be a fan of the bands (they had their moments, but never got on with the Sun Strip bands) but it's obvious that you had a passion for the genre.

Great show boys - I was at the Wembley show the night before, November 1st. Three of us travelled up from south Wales in my mates fathers navy blue classic Triumph Spitfire, which drew some attention from the Police, two of them had a little drive in it around the car park. I was about 20 meters from the front of the stage, my first time seeing Skid Row, only knew a couple of songs, instant fan, brilliant. Seb was amazing my kind of guy, & yes they did play Cold Gin which was much appreciated by me as a big Kiss fan. White Lion when down well the night I saw them, no problems with the audience at all. I thought they were great, I was hoping they would play Fight To Survive (Vito was awesome on it), & of course they did. I remember Mike changing cloths during the set & coming on dressed as Axel Rose did at the time & even doing his dance routine around the mike stand, which I found a bit odd. I thought Motley Crue were excellent, really enjoyed the show. We got two different songs in our set from the one the night after, we had Piece of Your Action & She Goes Down in place of All in The Name Of.. & Helter Skelter. Billy Idol came on for Jailhouse Rock, but I don`t recall any members from the other bands joining them. Excellent stuff again boys, keep up the good work, "cheers". 🍺🎸🐑🤘

I saw Mike Tramp in Camden last year. He’s got some great stories. Really engaging

Saw the show on Birmingham. Was massively disappointed with the cancellation the year before with the snow on the roof bollox! Thought Crue were fantastic as were skid row. White Lion were a bit of an anti climax after SR. Loved Vito Bratta’s playing on pride (Hungry👍) but was taken aback when he rocked up with a Steinberger headless guitar, didn’t look right after his white ESP and he seemed a bit restrained

On the white lion subject, I reckon Vito Bratta was one of the best and most under rated guitarists of that era. He was beyond an Eddie clone - solos on the Pride album were absolutely brilliant. I think they suffered from Mike Tramp being too pretty but actually a top geezer & the production on Pride was too sugary sweet / light as well but the songs were great. As you guys rightly say, nobody could follow Skid Row at this time, except maybe Metallica!

Brilliant guys. Thought Crue were good on this tour ( the snow excuse was poor old Mick Mars doing a rare interview and saying something daft . They were so out of control on the GGG tour that the UK dates were pulled to keep them.alive ) . On the previous Theate of Pain tour I saw Crue were shocking ( awful album TBH ) and Cheap Trick blew them off at Newcastle .
