If you grew up listening to Skidrow, no matter how good the new singer is, its still not the same. Some may disagree with this but I know a lot more would feel the same as I do.

Skid Row is extremely fortunate Erik joined up. The absolute best!

Agreed. People, get over it already... They are both great singers in their own way, they do sound similar but there is no such thing as better or worse here.. This isn't a competition. They are just having fun! "Bach this Bach that" srsly tired of those words repeating. Its Eriks time to shine now.. And if im being honest i don't think Bach ever sounded as good live, but as i said it dont mean shit... They r both great.. Erik is running the show now and he is a perfect fit.

Some nice boy up there singing, trying to do a bad man's job and not coming close. Sebastian Bach was a rowdy motherf*@ker who brought a street brawler attitude to the stage every night with an incredible, edgy, bitchy, whiny, streetpunk voice. He cannot be replaced.

Erik is doing a great job keeping the band alive and staying true to the roots. Sebastian is always going to be the voice of the band but I don't get why people keep bringing him up. He hasn't been in the band since the 90's and he will never be in the band again. And truth is these days and even since like a decade ago Sebastian can't carry a tune in a bucket with a lid on it.

Get Sebastian back please!

Not really a Queen fan, but Bach is not in the same league as Freddie Mercury, nor should he ever be compared to 'like Queen without Freddie Mercury'. That right there is stretching it a bit as far as like superstar vocal status. Currently the way Bach sings, would be more like Motley Crue without Vince. Although I hated putting it that way because I do not want to put down Snake, Rachel, Scotti and drummer Rob Hammersmith like that, but that analogy is more accurate.

It's just sad that some of these singers from back then sound like crap now and all we have are memories, but the guys in Skid Row still can play, so why not go out with Erik now and play? Too each his own though, but I prefer to hear singers the way I remember them.

Snake, Rachel and Scotti ARE Skid Row. That's Dave 'Snake' Sabo, Rachel Bolan and Scotti Hill, OG drummer Rob Affuso left the band in '98. Now it's Rob Hammersmith (drums) and new singer Erik Gronwall. I am a Skid Row fan and most of us know the OG members, not just Bach. You obviously don't know what a cover band is, Google it. Bach has a cover band.

Honestly @JohnGalt539 everyone has their own opinion. but this is not a cover band. you still have 3 original members in Skid Row. plus 2 of them are the Song writers for all the music Skid row ever recorded. Erik bring a fresh new blood to the band and is doing a kick ass job. no disrespect to Bach. but he can't hold the notes or sing the songs like he used to. Skid row sound great and think the 2nd album with Erik will be more telling. Bach's version is more a cover band than Skid Row...

😅😅 Sebastian didn't come up with the name, or write any of the songs from the first album, all those songs existed before he even became the singer. THAT is how they can carry on with the same name, because he doesn't own a thing, he never has. Erik also doesn't act like he is a child still, Sebastian has the mindset of a teenager and fights with everyone for no apparent reason.
