Just found your channel, guys!! Totally awesome concept!! I was also a teenager in the 80's and had a lot of similar experiences with my own friends. But the future's looking bright. I still feel like a teenager and I'm still totally into heavy metal!!

Great memories of this one. Cheers lads. Lots of rain early on. Dio were amazing. I spent a fair bit of time at this sat towards the back with a rather cute dark haired young lady. We got to know each other quite well and continued to do so for a while afterwards. Then we went down different paths and didn't see each other for over 30 years. Now she's the most important person in my life again.

Great memories of a quality line up. Some of my mates went didnt manage to make this one for some reason.Saw Dio in May 86 and Anthrax and Metallica in September 86 on Cliffs last tour. I also saw Anthrax again with Testament in November 87 at the City Hall Newcastle and still have a tape of the Anthrax set. Loving the content great to re live these times

Was here! My 4th and final Donington!. Arrived halfway through Cinderella's set! WASP did great despite an emergency last minute dep drummer! Always remember the girl on the rack during "Harder Faster" and trashing all the gear end of the set! .Anthrax won the day for me, really whipped the crowd up! Metallica were ok! Dio was amazing and Jovi did a great headlining slot with guests Dee Snider, Paul Stanley and Bruce Dickinson who broke the rule of conduct by revealing they were headlining next year! DJ's The Bailey Brothers were a pain, on the mic before the bands had hardly left the stage!.

I have no idea what the Bailey Brothers were like; other than having their own feature in Metal Hammer and well dodgy hair, I never got to hear them/see them present.

Great lineup. Bon Jovi rocked hard enough to be amongst the rest during the decade. But ive heard some footage from this show and they played a couple songs too fast and sounded rushed.

Hi Antonio - thanks for the comments. Ebay is probably best for buying old tickets - none available at the moment though. I'm sure that is a very cool thing to say you have been to back in Brazil !!

Bon Jovi ........... First saw them supporting Kiss on the Animalize tour. Then managed to get a tickets for my girlfriend (now wife) at The Dominion Tottenham Court Road London a few weeks later. Support was by Canadian rocker Lee Aaron. Jon Bon Jovi PA packed up twice during set. He came out and played an acoustic guitar asking audience for requests .... Tom Petting, Bruce Springsteen etc. All for £3.50 ..........Absolute bargain. Paid a lot more since and seen BJ a further 10 times sice. I have a Richie personally signed framed Photo, plectrum through of Marshall's. Doug Yates Milton Keynes

I was at BJ at the Dominion May 85 too! Yep I remember the PA packing up twice! The second time, he tells the audience, "If the PA packs up one more time, were all going to the bar"!!
