Been a Skynyrd diehard since I was 14, 1974. I had to have everything they did on CD. It took me 44 years to find this song, and the rest on the Collectybles album. Talked to a guy I meet on EBAY, we traded CD's all the time. He could find anything. I asked about this one, he said he knew a guy in FL. 2 weeks later, it was in my mailbox. Thanks Jersey Joe, you finished my LS collection

Saw them, well sort of in 1988, Oct 20, 10 year anniversary of the plane crash. Everyone alive was there, even Allen Collins in a wheel chair, it was awesome, one special evening, esp that white hat on the mic stand for Free Bird. Got tickets for their last show in Orange Beach Alabama, well they have one more show after that, but it’s a festival. I’m 54 and I wish music was still like this. Been listening to them a early an early teenager and still don’t get tired of them. I can relate to the ludes, piece of leg, and all the other references made in song. Just makes me feel alive listening to this band. Thank you Lynyrd Skynyrd for the lifetime of music I have grown up to and enjoyed so much of my life.

Striking similarities in their styles though. They had the same growl but Rickey overused it imo

Everyone alive was there, even Allen Collins in a wheel chair, it was awesome, one special evening, esp that white hat on the mic stand for Free Bird. Not one of, just the best ever. IMO
Very Fucking Cool ! I hear a bit of Texas Blues/ Johnny Winter/Hendrix sounds in there...Skynyrd is amazing for all of the nuances that they nailed in Southern/Country/ Hard Rock/Blues/Honkytony/Boogie/Folk and every single mix of those genres and more....No band will ever touch that kind of genius again
Gotta love Skynard doing the blues!
Their music lives on forever. The real Lynyrd Skynyrd, please!
Soulful and..... the best Blues around!!!!
That guitar solo tho!!!!! Love actual real rock like this!!! New stuff will NEVER be this good!!

Much love to the late great Ed King he was one of a kind guitar player.
My brother was a photographer and he used to take me in the late 60s and 70s with him to concerts I seen Skynyrd live the real man like 22 times and it was phenomenal looking back I'm 58 years old now and it was one of the greatest things ever have to be in my life especially the concert in Atlanta Georgia at the Fox Theater when they recorded one more for the road

Actually I THINK this is Rickey Medlocke singing here. He sang Wino which I always loved and never suspected it wasn't Ronnie until recently. Don't know if he virtually imitated Ronnie's style or perhaps it could've even been the other way round but Ronnie was ultimately the superior singer of course. Striking similarities in their styles though. They had the same growl but Rickey overused it imo

@@myyootube2 This is most definitely Ronnie. Ronnie also sang on “Wino”. You’re thinking of “White Dove” Ricky sounds more like Neil Young to me, not close to RVZ.

They have so many good songs you can't go wrong.
