Steve Gaines was so so happy to be there with every fiber of his being
Ronnie Van Zant without a doubt had the most American honkytonk voice in the world. The band as a whole were actually in a league of their own. They could be country, hard rock, and anywhere in between. They each were masters at their game....

Damn! Those guys blew doors out! They were good.
the Excuuuuse me part always makes me smile
Absolutely one of the best, if not the best, band in history. They were so tight in their performance. Everyone knew their part and played it perfectly. Ronnie Van Zant was the quint essential leader without a doubt. So glad I grew up in the 70's and experienced this band as they evolved. I don't think there is a legitimate argument that the 70's and early 80's were the best times for rock & roll music, or any music for that matter. I was a freshman at East Carolina University the day I learned that their plane crashed in Mississippi. For me, it was the day that the music died.

Gary’s Les Paul, Steve’s Strat or Allen’s Explorer?
Greatest live band ever. EVER!!
"Can't He Play" I always assumed GR did most of the heavy lifting on the "One More From the Road" version. This video proves it. "Bernice" sounds great. There's something about a 1958-60 Les Paul Standard that makes it easy to pick out.
I love the honesty of this song.
They are the best band ever💯💯💯🙌
Best version of all time!!
Lmao after excuse me RVZ say’s “I didn’t want to fight him over that c~nt any how!” Classic
Lives lost ...so young. I grew up listening to my parents play these albums. I started collecting them years ago and they have always been my all-time favorite, forever Southern Rock Band since my early teens. I'm turning 43 this year and I can't help but think Ronnie was only 29 when a tragic event happen that day. Steve Gaines was only 28 and his sister Cassie was 29 and other crew members lost their lives over a fuel mistake. Tonight I ponder, if these men and women knew the impact they made on music during their time. I doubt it, they practice hard, lived, and loved what they were doing! So much appreciation goes out to the people that recorded these videos live and if they or whoever posted it, I thank you because I was here yet.

I think ronnie was just trying to get Gary to atleast react lol Gary is a really shy acting player but Gary was also all about the music as well. Which I know people say it's all bout the money but hell that's what these guys did this for was to make as much money as they could, ain't nobody that would do any differently. Still love Gary's playing on this video he is a awesome awesome player.
I hope Gary, Ronnie, Steve, and The Mad Hatter Leon are having an awesome reunion today.
One of the best bands in the world my favorite it liked kill me when the plane crashed
You know wat days is your days
I like how hard core Skynyrd fans/purists especially Artimus say Ronnie had incredible "stage presences" by just standing like a true gentleman with his hand on the mic and not hardly ever dancing and showing off for the audiences they played for like of course Jagger, David Lee Roth, Elvis and Steven Tyler did. But on this night shown here, it seemed like on songs like Gimme Three Steps and T for Texas where he(Ronnie) comes over by Gary and Allen while they were doing their solos and like sticking his tongue out at Allen and kind of puts his hand/fingers near his mouth while leaning over towards Gary, he was just giving them a hard time and having fun himself as both of them knew he had their backs.
