Lynyrd Skynyrd - Gimme Three Steps (Live At Knebworth '76)
Музыка
Order "Live At Knebworth '76": mercury-studios.lnk.to/Lynyrd...
On August 21, 1976, Lynyrd Skynyrd took the stage at Knebworth as part of a daylong festival which also included Todd Rundgren’s Utopia, 10cc and The Rolling Stones. The show has gone down in Lynyrd Skynyrd history as one of the band’s greatest performances. The 1976 Knebworth show features Ronnie Van Zant’s iconic vocals and their famed triple guitar attack of Gary Rossington, Allen Collins and Steve Gaines in front of a crowd estimated between 150,000 and 200,000. Their entire performance from that day is here for you to witness the classic Lynyrd Skynyrd in all its glory with cleaned up visuals and remixed audio, available on DVD+CD, Blu-ray+CD and DVD+2LP.

Yes, it's true but Ronnie was also scrutinizing every bandmates performance in every possible way and detail. if they failed in the slightest...that bandmate would get an earful from Ronnie after the show...FO SHOW! Ronnie was a perfectionist and even insisted they bow to the audience at the end of their performance. The politeness and extreme respect to the audience was not only a very old school homage but also a tribute to their parents' Southern upbringing. There was no just walking off the stage with a little wave at the end of the show...No Suh! They understood exactly what their fame brought to their lives and didn't take their fans or audience members for granted. Another reason, of many, to just love this band from my hometown of Jacksonville, Florida.

How does a Band Follow Lynyrd Skynyrd after a Performance Like This
I cant stop watching these videos of Knebworth August 21st 1976. I was there, I lived in Stevenage, i was there with my mates who i cant find. Are any of them still alive, i dont know, i have tried tracing them, but to no avail. i miss them, i would love to find them. Those were the days. Yes i took drugs, we all did, we had a drink, we all did. I miss it all, but hey, im 67 now, not long to go i guess. Would love to see at least one of my old pals before i depart this world. Lynyrd skynyrd, awsome, they brought the day alive, they awakened the crowd, we all thought at the time, yes, come on ,lets go. Shame some of the band were to depart this life a year later.

@@tabathabrabham6384 When we were kids and told our friends where we would go if we had time machines.....I bet none of us said "I'd go back and hang out with my uncle".
RVZ is mesmerizing
One of the few bands, where every song is a hit.
Them boys from Jacksonville, FL are IMMORTAL!!! Skynyrd boys: Y'all came for the Stones? Hold my whiskey!!

I'm amazed at just how good a singer Ronnie was.
I grew up with these guys as the back ground of my life. Dear God, I miss them all. RIP yall!
Greatest Band Ever
Love Ronnie's vocal and Allen's joy on this one.

In my opinion the best duo in Skynyrd and the true sound of Skynyrd respect to Gary. But musically it was Ronnie and Allen’s . Not only Allen solos but he is rhythm playing and writing song structures
I always kept a Skynyrd tape in the car cassette player, and when out driving with my family my 2 daughters would, age 8 and 6, would shout for”3 Steps”, and when the opening riff for Sweet Home Alabama started, right on cue they would shout “TURN IT UP”. 35 years on, they are still Skynyrd fans and I’m still playing their riffs on my Telecaster! A life well spent.
Just one of greatest bands in rock history. I’ve watched this video countless times in awe.
Steve was a great find. We have to thank his sister for her insistence that her brother would fit the band. He really was on par with Ed King when it came to playing and writing.
I wish I could of seen these guys before the plane crash! THEY ARE SPECTACULAR!!! Ronnie's voice is just totally amazing! The whole band is just SPECTACULAR!

A BAND Powerful enough to turn Goat Piss into Gasoline. IMO. 😁✌️
Guitars, amps, drums and vocals. No computer light shows and iPhone videos. Amazing times and an amazing band,
The guy in red is a time traveler! A truly metal head 🔥

And yet there are current tour dates listed at the top. Who's touring as Lynyrd Skynyrd? I know why, but it's pathetic.

If you don't like give me 3 steps thwn you're not a fan.
Just turned 78...still listening.
I just wanted to stop in and say we will never have musicians as tight as the world did then. No auto tune, no special gimmicks, just raw talent.
Lynard Skynard lives forever...
One of the greatest bands ever.
Ronnie was a great front man. One great thing about him was is that he shared the stage with the entire band. It went all about him.
Lynyrd Skynyrd is the band that people will be listening to 100,000,000 million years from now
