Lubia Polo (Persian Green Bean Rice) - Cooking with Yousef

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Hi Friends -
Today, I show you how to make Lubia Polo (Persian Green Bean Rice) (( لوبیا پلو )) , which is a delicious stand-alone rice dish made with green beans and meat, traditionally with lamb, but you can also prepare this food with beef. The meat could be ground or solid, though the more formal way to prepare it is with small, solid cubes or chunks.
Of course, if you are vegan, you can just forego the meat and it's still a delicious rice dish.
This food is mostly served with either Salad Shirazi or Plain Yogurt.
Thanks for watching my show, and I'll see you soon.

Lubia polo and Baquali Polo are my favourites. My grandmother used to put small meatballs in her lubia polo. I like it that way.

I love cooking with Yousef's videos. This one comes out great. My Persian mother advises that you add a spoonful of dried lemon and that works well! Thank you.

I made your Lubia polo today. It was very tasty. But I don’t know it was a right taste or not. Because I’ve never eaten Lubia before. I have a little question Lubia should be quite dry rice dish or moist dish with tomato sauce??? My Lubia was quite dry. I ate with melted butter and yogurt to gave a moisturizing. Was it correct??

It is a rice dish so ppl eat with yogurt on the side and add butter or olive oil if it’s too dry
