Love and heartbreak in the new India | Dr. Shyam Bhat | TEDxSIULavale

Love is one of the most beautiful experience in one's life. Over the years, the feeling of heartbreaks has intensified because the way the newer generation has felt the relationships is totally different from the earlier generations.
Dr Shyam K Bhat MD is a Psychiatrist, Integrative Medicine specialist, and writer.
He has postgraduate training and American Board certifications in two, usually disparate specialties Psychiatry (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology) and Internal Medicine (American Board of Internal Medicine). He is also board certified in Psychosomatic Medicine (ABPN subspeciality), the study of conditions at the interface of body and mind. Dr Bhat combines these qualifications with a deep study and understanding of eastern philosophy and healing practices.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at ted.com/tedx

Having gone through the break up stage is one of the best things that has probably happened to me. I am a really good new me. How? It made me think more about the approval from myself than from other people in a very rational way. I remember a saying- Love thyself before loving anyone else. 100% legit

Love is beautiful...but if you have a heartbreak and recover from it in a positive way that feeling is just wonderful... because it's then that you realise that your love can't be so selfish to be confined to one single person rather you are capable of loving the humanity as a whole and you being a segment of Universe are eternal😃

This person is straight to the point. This is one of the most articulated speech about love and heartbreak ever. He is not impressing the audience, he is not smiling before audience laughs, he is just popping out sentences from the bottom of his heart of the experiences he's had. Being so intelligent and certified in so many fields, strange but very helpful of him to talk about love and heartbreaks in such a lucid manner. Very very grateful to this.

Should the word "heartbreak" be used only in context of romantic relationships?? Would'nt it apply to any relationship where a person has invested a lot emotionally-parent/child, friend/friend??

I think the HEARTBREAK that speaker is talking of is most popular and common than any other. Further he could have talked he should have but the patients of this catagory are more, and are more vulnerable so this catagory needs tips at first followed by others. And also he clearly explains that this has more cases in our generation than any other cause of all the reasons we know phone, freedom, globalisation, societal reforms, more freedom and gender equality. So it is okay to say all other past generation have felt it least but our generation has felt it more.

Suppose someone is in the room and you are out side the room. you are knocking the door again and again, and got heart breaking and thr person is not agree to open the door of his heart. Solution is please stop knocking the door. you will get the solution.
