    Seems like one of those weekend's where everything is against you. Still good work Jackie! Few changes and car will be on point! American regs are still super weird to me. HAVE to have windows down without nets which just seems dangerous but I'm told it's for fire recovery but then you don't have to have extinguishers or even wear full length clothing when out on track.

  • @randr10
    @randr104 жыл бұрын

    Try roughing up the surface of your pipes where it meets the coupler with some emory or sandpaper. I've done that on rubber couplers with some 120 grit and it works wonders for holding silicone rubber in place where the old regular rubber didn't have a problem because silicone is so slippery. Because of this slippery nature, the added imperfections from the sandpaper gives it something to hold on to. Think like tread on a tire when on slippery surfaces, same concept but on the surface instead of the rubber. Go in a radial motion around the contact surface. It will make a huge difference. If you're worried about looks, just do up to the point where your clamp makes contact but not all the way past the coupler.

    Hi Jackie, glad all is ok with you and the car, always carry fire extinguisher. What do you think of the rear of the car, it might be your driving style but it seems all over the place?

  • @Nasonix2
    @Nasonix24 жыл бұрын

    Jackie it looks like ur front splitter is doing it's work. I would personally suggest trying stiffer front spring rate and leaving the rear wing set to how it was during these laps. But what is your current spring rates if you don't mind me asking. Because if the front is more than what I'm thinking then yeah it would make more sense to increase rear downforce. But at the same time it's not obnormal for the front splitters to be scraping the ground a lot. But 2020supras have a fair amount of downforce stock so perhaps you just need more front spring rate and the downforce balance is already exactly perfect. It all depends on if your front springs are already stiff enough or not. I wouldn't know bcuz idk where they are. I haven't been able to catch up to ur older videos since last season ended. Anyways awesome content as always!!! Great work
