Season Finale!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Although the championship had already been wrapped up by that despicably green S2000, we still returned for the final round of the 2020 Gridlife Championship, hoping for one last hurrah. An old rival, however, laid down the benchmark, and we gave chase. It's been a hell of a season, and I want to thank you all for the massive support along the way. It's been amazing.

Awesome job this season Jackie. One note, maybe you could do a little overview of one of your main competitors during the event? It would have been cool for you to show what that EVO was running and why they were so fast right here in your video so I didnt have to go somewhere else to find out! Im sure they would appreciate the advertisement as well.

That’s very much what our “Time Attack Rivals” series is aiming to do. It’s a little hard to film and edit, but we have another episode on Road-America-winning C5 coming out this week.

3D prints are super weak across the Z-plane (layer adhesion). You can change the orientation but an SLS part would hold up much better than FDM.

In the future, most likely going with a machined part ha. Good tip on the strength of 3D printing, will keep that in mind

I think your problem was more wall thickness, infill % and maybe material choice on that 3D printed part. The first two for sure from what I saw. I use 3D printed parts in heavy load applications a lot, they can take it if done right!

Pretty cool to see an actual race car go around Gingerman. I just did my first HPDE there a month ago. Felt like I was hauling ass, but you’re (unsurprisingly) almost 20 seconds/lap faster, haha.

Looks like the 3D printed part was sparse fill FDM, if you printed with a solid SLA it would be much stronger.

Hi Jackie, on your second session, you had the caption of little bit of left foot braking. Was that into the counter steer while keeping your right foot on the gas? I am still learning car control in different situations. Can you please share insight on how that works? Thanks in advance
