To the dude sitting in the truck: So you're incredibly distressed that a lion cub is destroyed by buffaloes ehh!! Hey dude, how about lions tearing baby buffaloes apart and eating the babies alive?? Anyway the buffaloes are thinking long-term: by destroying a lion cub, they've decreased the number of their future killers by 1. Stop trying to copy your racial discrimination from your human society to the wildlife.

Red, White-eye and Lispy were some of the cubs seen in this video too. They, along with Bibi, became the core pride females and were the mothers of the 3 graces and their brothers, the 5 notches

If it's an equal # of lions and buffalos, the lions starve to death, plain and simple. The only way a single lion beats a single buffalo is when the lion is an adult and the buffalo is a calf separated from its mother or a very old dying buffalo than can barely move. If more buffalo acted like the ones in battle at kruger, lions would be in serious trouble.

@Amit Bajpai “at any time” is a stretch. It takes a lot of effort for a buffalo to kill a fully grown lion. A lot has to go right. Usually lions are too fast for buffaloes and can easily get away. But in the right circumstance, yes, a buffalo can obliterate even a large male lion.

Your comment might have led someone to believe that you thought otherwise. i pointed out that lions don't live in the jungle because i wanted to prove that the old saying was incorrect, not only about the fact that lions don't live in the jungle, but also because they aren't as strong as some people might think.

Actually no they wouldn't have. Tigers aren't stupid and they know when they can't win a fight and a water buffalo like that could easily kill a tiger. They might stick close to see what exactly it is if there was one, but a few angry ones like that, they'd run away. They would have run just like the lions.

During the night, a pair of male nomads attacked two moms and their offspring. Once of the sons sustained a puncture wound behind repair. He hid under a push to die. The mom was calling out for him. They all eventually found him, and then literally said goodbye to him ALMOST LIKE A FUNERAL PROCESSION. Lions grief over the loss of their family members. But yes, they know that life must go on. Each day has new challenges. Go to the 23:25 section of this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZH6TztOSiJu4lM4.html
