I remember being 6 years old and 'sneaking' out of bed early to watch reruns before my parents woke up. An amazing show, and it established a life long love of big cats.
Am I’m the only one who miss this show 2021
Remember this from the whole show long ago. Poignant and fascinating, I see all sides make sense as usual in nature.
Big cat diary is the best documentary on lines leopards, and Cheetas ever produced wish they keeped filming

To the dude sitting in the truck: So you're incredibly distressed that a lion cub is destroyed by buffaloes ehh!! Hey dude, how about lions tearing baby buffaloes apart and eating the babies alive?? Anyway the buffaloes are thinking long-term: by destroying a lion cub, they've decreased the number of their future killers by 1. Stop trying to copy your racial discrimination from your human society to the wildlife.
I'm sorry but there's a difference between killing for eating and killing just for kicking. If at least they were eating lions, it will be fair enough but it's not the case.
Is this the group of cubbies that charm and bibi born as well as the 3 graces
@simonbrazil4822
3 жыл бұрын
One of the Cubs here is Bibi yes, but the three graces were born 7 years later in 2005. Charm was one of the 3 graces, along with Siena and Joy. Red, White-eye and Lispy were some of the cubs seen in this video too. They, along with Bibi, became the core pride females and were the mothers of the 3 graces and their brothers, the 5 notches
good job buffalo
i admire the photographer/filmer
some serious growling, snarling, bellowing action going there....
Seemed like they were more than a match for the lions here. Check out battle at kruger too. If all buffalo acted like that bunch, lions would be extinct really soon.
If it's an equal # of lions and buffalos, the lions starve to death, plain and simple. The only way a single lion beats a single buffalo is when the lion is an adult and the buffalo is a calf separated from its mother or a very old dying buffalo than can barely move. If more buffalo acted like the ones in battle at kruger, lions would be in serious trouble.
This is part of life. If lions, hyenas, and other predators are not around the population of the bafalos would go uncheck.
thanks so much. amazing
this comment is directed at BelleandBuster4Eva its not sick that shes its her cubs its nature.... a lion doesnt share the same thoughts as humans so whats disgusting and sick to you is not to a lion
Why is there always someone who has to comment on how a tiger is better than a lion. Shutup. If you want to talk about tigers, post under a tiger video. And no, a tiger wouldn't of faced off against an entire herd of buffalo. They are not stupid.
totally agreed!
and when you used the phrase "king of the jungle" -although you tried to use it as a metaphor, you've wrongly worded it in such a way, that your sentence did state the actual means of a jungle
one year to wait those ten cubs that survive would be the next team to hunt and eat those buffalo...vengeance against vengeance

i like how the one male lion comes out of nowhere lik:''the fuck goin on???!!! >{"
Where’s dad?! Isn’t that the role of male lions, to protect the pride?

Buffalos can easily kill a full grown Lion at any time..
@eaglewinnings8003
3 жыл бұрын
@Amit Bajpai “at any time” is a stretch. It takes a lot of effort for a buffalo to kill a fully grown lion. A lot has to go right. Usually lions are too fast for buffaloes and can easily get away. But in the right circumstance, yes, a buffalo can obliterate even a large male lion.
@amitbajpaipharmaceuticals2069

@@eaglewinnings8003 I value your opinion. But once a lion comes in the right shackles of a male grown up buffalo trust me he is gone . Here I m talking about one lion not many. A single lion hardly comes across a buffalo they attack in groups usually..

Lions are so programmed to hate hyenas and other scavengers that the lioness decided to EAT HER OWN DEAD CUB WHO SHE WAS JUST MOURNING FOR SECONDS EARLIER rather than let hyenas come and get a free meal.

Gotta look at it from the buffalo’s point of view though: That “poor cub” is almost 100% certainly going to attack those very same buffalo once it reaches adulthood.

This isn't a struggle for food - this is territory/cubs protection: the buffalo had started it this time.
@alphonsozorro7952

There is no "territory" when you are facing an enemy. Lions are buffalos' enemies, and so are lion cubs! Lions kill buffalo calves all the time.
Bufellow are in full charge,poor face of lions, amazing to watch

@Bardhok Ndoji, Lions tear baby buffalos/deers/zebras/etc apart and eat them alive. Is that why you "love" lions?? By the law of karma, lions will one day tear you apart and eat you alive, starting with your yummy internal organs.
lol your right, but you know what i mean..

i realize, thank you as i recall you were replying to a comment which suggested that buffalos were much stronger than lions. Your comment might have led someone to believe that you thought otherwise. i pointed out that lions don't live in the jungle because i wanted to prove that the old saying was incorrect, not only about the fact that lions don't live in the jungle, but also because they aren't as strong as some people might think.

Buffulo are king in the long grass in numbers but by themselves on an open plain and they are giant hamburgers. Lions are king in both the plains and the grass despite the loss of a cub.
me too :(
바팔로에 밀리는 사자들, 새끼를 잃다!
bugisami: It is because most individuals, humans and animals alike think of their own safety first. And in a 1 vs 1 situation a Lion would have the advantage due to flexibility and speed. This is also true for the dog, a dog would be able to take down the cattle 1 vs 1 or at least wound it.

Actually no they wouldn't have. Tigers aren't stupid and they know when they can't win a fight and a water buffalo like that could easily kill a tiger. They might stick close to see what exactly it is if there was one, but a few angry ones like that, they'd run away. They would have run just like the lions.

There was one male around and he fled. The dominant male buffalo leading the pack was too scary for the male lion.
Legal
Funny to see the tables turn and predator become prey. Bull Buffalos, adult and strong and in good health, are formidable prey and sometimes will attack a pride and especially a lioness who is separated from the pride.
Poor cub. Very sad.

Sami Motaghedi he's expecting the cubs to react to the loss of their sibling when even a one or two year old human baby won't understand the loss of a sibling unless someone tried to explain it to him/her.
@MattSmith-iq1ld

I completely agree with Sami Motaghedi. And I will show you PROOF. Watch this documentary and two rare female white lions that were raised in Kruger. During the night, a pair of male nomads attacked two moms and their offspring. Once of the sons sustained a puncture wound behind repair. He hid under a push to die. The mom was calling out for him. They all eventually found him, and then literally said goodbye to him ALMOST LIKE A FUNERAL PROCESSION. Lions grief over the loss of their family members. But yes, they know that life must go on. Each day has new challenges. Go to the 23:25 section of this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZH6TztOSiJu4lM4.html
