Remake was trash, I would go with the original 100%, Nala and Simba were the worst they weren’t as charismatic, and natural as the first ones, no emotion!!! And don’t get me started WITH RAFIKI!!!! @@rebelpoxy Animals work on a whole different way. You see, when they (the hyenas) saw their fellow desert dog gets beaten, they'll hesitate to advance. If one out of dozens of them stops, the other will hesitate too. Thus making them afraid to make a move on the dominant force. In this case, the lion seemed to be not that dominant of a nature. So yeah, dogs win.

And compared to lions, pretty sure they have have better success rates when it comes to coordinated hunting in the African savannah, second only to the African painted dogs. Lions are only bigger and stronger, but when it comes to team work, they pale to hyenas. People tend to side with lions since hyenas are ugly asf.

"Even for twenty hyenas, a pair of male lions is too much to take on". Just amazing.

It's mostly because none of them wants to get injured. If they were forced to fight to the death the hyenas would win, but you have to consider the type of life hyenas have. If they get injured, they can't hunt, and noone would share food with them- the same problem that lions have, but lions live in much smaller groups, so there'd be at least something left over. Also, if they return to their clan injured, another hyena would probably advantage of that and take their rank.

i think they're very much misunderstood... it just happen that it is how they sound when they communicate and their carnivorous diet makes what human deem sinister (eg. kill and laugh)

He's a badass. 1:38 was the face of terror, you can't blame him either. All those creepy hyenas trying to attack his balls and shit, they were wearing him out and he was completely outnumbered, yet he stood his ground and wasn't going to be taken down without a fight.
