I saw plenty of dogs with cobra-spit eyes in Singapore. Their eyes were so swollen over it was impossible for them to see. They recovered in 2-3 days with treatment. Those cobras are superb 'marksmen'.

notice how these lions behaved when confronting a dealy snake like this one..compared to other creautures. they know they're deadly

the sad thing is lions wouldnt even know what a snake was unless they've seen one before so they were probally wondering what the hell it was

Agreed, this is not a King cobra, but rather a Black-necked Spitting Cobra. Clearly effective self-defence mechanism to repel 4 lions!

"Spitting" cobra is actually a bit of a misnomer. The snake is not really "spitting" (as we think of that word) but SPRAYING from their fangs themselves, like a water gun pump spray, as their fangs have holes at the tips. So not "spit" per se. It's not like cobras have saliva made of venom...that they somehow just "spit" into the air. It's more like a spray-shooting from within the front fangs that contain the venom. So "spraying cobra" would be a more accurate term for them.

Actually a spitting cobra is a heck of a lot more dangerous than the larger king cobra. They don't have to risk the dangers of a lunge to attack. It just rears up and spits.

You are correct, of course. But in the wild, being blind is basically a death sentence. Even partial blindness can lessen the odds of survival significantly.

Its not a king cobra the correct term for that snak is a spitting cobra....Steve Irwin taught me that. LOL!

That was not a King Cobra, as stated in the title of the video. As correctly stated IN the video it was a common African spitting cobra. The King Cobra, Ophiophagus Hannah, does not even live in Africa. As for 'who wins in a fight with a cobra?' Answer: Cobra wins unless up against a mongoose or a honey badger.
