@Tech Guy Well he doesn't have the best luck with Argentina . And yes he missed that time .But he is the best player of the team. They expect him to do everything for their offense and Argentina's defense is horrible. Messi doesn't have the personality of Maradona he is not a vocal and attitude lider like Diego was, in Argentina's national team there's no lidership basically. They need a good coach with that type personality, Cholo Simeone comes to my mind.

What blows me away is the INSTINCT that Messi has. He knows exactly what to do in all occasions, the direction to take, the fints to make, how and when to shoot, and he makes all that extremely fast, versus TOP, TOP players. As a former amateur football player, i know well that those things you can train them, but the base of the talent, the body of the talent, is given to you by God. Messi simply was born to play football. A One - In - A - Billion talent. For Real.

Like he wants to be isolated and dissapear from the place. Usually you cheer up others, you try to gather forces in a team.

We only get to see his magic. His very best side. Playing football is when he enjoys life the most. I have Aspergers as well and I'm pretty sure you can't be as talented as Messi is at football without having Aspergers. That's why I get pretty angry when people pick on him for not being a great leader. Feel like one of the craziest things about Messi is that when he shoots he barely winds up. Keepers have no chance to stop it because they have no warning. One second he's dribbling down the pitch at you, next second the ball is in the net. No warnings.

The goal against real madrid in semi final was the best for me...the best thing about that goal was that not for a single moment he reduced his pace with changing directions actually increased his pace and ball still stick to feet like magnet... i am sure not a single player can do that a lot of dribblers will stop and look and then change direction...but messi is alien he doesn't need that his ball control and quick decision making is out of this universe...and it's so beautiful and mesmerising at same time..

Most of the driblers have a solution for the first player. If they manage to beat the first one, the second player is pure combination of quick thinking and luck. Thats why majority of greatest players doesnt have more than 3 to 5 goals like this in their entire career. Messi outshines them all....even thou so many teams put a block of 3 players around him he managed to score so many goals or make so many runs past 3 or more players.

I'm a lifelong Arenal fan and watched barca beat us 2-0 at home in 2016 where Messi scored both, of course i was sad we didn't win but i felt very grateful that i got to see the greatest of all time play with my own eyes, he's even more impressive in person, the way he moves is just a bit different to everyone else, and when he gets the ball, the whole stadium goes a bit quieter, you can tell everyone is waiting to see what he is going to do

I've watched just about all the Greats, and in their prime and Lionel Messi is just extraordinary, and in my opinion is truly the G.O.A.T.

The world cup is the definitive, deserved consecration of this amazing footballer. Simply the GOAT.

I am Argentine and I grew up with Maradona. I admire him and celebrate the 86 world cup but when I see Lionel I can't help but cry. This boy is not human or something happened here. I was never the biggest fan of football I have to admit but man Messi has been a pleasure to watch and I'm honoured to be alive at the same time!

Messi is so unique in the way he is able to generate seemingly immense amounts of powerful from short strokes. with incredible touch and accuracy. Just the best to ever do it.

These goals really show the difference between him and everyone else. He has way more great goals to add to the list. His talent is unrivaled.

Not only does he score goals he also gives incredible assists and passes and he entertains us.👽👽🐐🐐

For me the 3rd ranked goal here is the best one. Atleast 8 players were lined up in 2 defensive lines, Diarra, Marcelo, Ramos along with Casillas & he did beat them all. No matter how many times I see that goal, it still gives me goosebumps ❤

I think his goal in 2018 world cup against Nigeria. There is no way in 100 year I can accelerate that fast or touch the ball like Messi did in that goal.

People don't realize how much skill it takes to control a long ball under pressure and finish with the weak foot right after. That first goal he scored against AC Milan in 2013 is also extremely underrated, there were like 6 players surrounding him and he still controlled the ball and popped it into the net. If any other player did something like this, they'd get endless praise, but these are just ordinary goals for Messi🐐

for sure the Greatest of All Time. It will pass maybe a century before the world sees such a talented footballer again..

What I always liked about messi is that he always made his own fan videos redundant. seeing a three year old video of "the greatest goals of the GOAT" would always mean he would have scored wonderful goals since that were not included. doesn't last forever though, enjoy him while he's still around :)

He is the best ever so far in the history of the game.

I have aged with Messi playing in Barca, now with time it feels like a part of me is coming to an end. Incredibly lucky to see possibly the greatest player of the generation playing at his peak and giving it all, while being an absolute role model of humility. Messi, it was incredible, the amount of joy you brought to countless people worldwide.

yesterday he won the world cup with his home nation, i come back here every time he does something incredible

the 20th one is my all time favourite goal from Messi. a player who is allegedly "not good in header" scores with a cloud header against an english team. so epic!

there’s just no1 that can ever be this man. He’s truly a once in a possible lifetime. maybe 2 but there’s no doubt that if I live the next 50 years, he will still be The GOAT by then.. hes irreplaceable! fans will not be ready once he calls time 🤦🏽‍♂️
