I have watched football from around 6 years old and I stated watching English football from around 1977 it was called The Big League then. I have watched Pele football matches at the world cups I have also watched Maradona in his prime. I have watched all the footballers, all of them. Messi plays football in a Supernatural way. He is simply different. Compare him all you want claim all you want about World Cups and so on, but Messi is all on his own. We won't see another in our lifetime and for quite a number of generations. I'm from Southern Africa 🇿🇼

I haven't watched football for that long, but I can say, watching it for the past 20 years.... Seeing many great players like Zidane, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Henry, Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo, Iniesta, Xavi, Suarez, Ibra etc etc... I can say no one comes even near Messi, I mean prime Messi (2008-2015).... He was simply in his own league, his own universe. Many people say Cristiano is better, or on the same level with Messi... Not even close, Ronaldo only catches Messi as a goalscorer, but the difference Messi did on the pitch was another universe compared to Ronaldo. Some say Ronaldinho was better... I can understand Ronaldinho was maybe more fun to watch for some, but Messi was on another level when it came to dribbling in insanely tight areas, going through multiple players, doing it against top oppponts, all the time for years and years. When it came to passing Ronaldiho was maybe a touch better, but Messi was scoring like three times more goals so the overall difference is huge. Also another universe compared to Zizou, Kaka, Henry etc etc..

If Messi after 2015 had a team & coach like this, he would've scored way more than 91 each year... at least 2 more trebles.

Messi is unreal. I remember when I was about 14 years old at school and there was this talk about a young player who just was incredible. I'm now nearly 32 and that same player has broke countless records through out the years and just won the world cup. He has left the the biggest, most behemoth sized legacy in football and is still competing and putting out outstanding stats to this day. Unreal player.

best days of barcelon and messi was from 09 - 15, most of the player on the field that day r mostly gone from football scene. hard to believe messi still play at highest level of football at age 35 and manage to win the world cup, best there is and ever will be. goat
