I am from Sierra Leone and I will name my son after Lionel Messi. The emotional joy he has brought to his fans in the universe is unmatched.

Imagine the weight he had to carry all these years, the ridicule from his own people, outsiders can hate you, but if your people despise you, it is worse, yet he carried on, sometimes it was too much for him, but he is human also and he showed those human traits. Did he bounce back, yes, he got more matured, understood what it meant to lose, had to accept lose, something he rarely ever did, most dont get the Messi evolution arc, the worldcup was a crowning effort, but his journey has been the most remarkable of any football ever.

I've watched hundreds of Messi games and he's EASILY the best player of all time. The fact that he only won 2 major titles with Argentina is honestly underwhelming and a sign that he is really unlucky, especially with Argentina. This guy is easily the best dribbler and the best passer of all time and probably in top 5 best finishers oat. Anyway, amazing video, brought me to tears at the end.
