Neymar played 30 more games for Brazil than Pele. In terms of World Cups won its Pele 3-0 Neymar. Athletic standards may well be higher these days, but I am not buying anyone who says Neymar is a better contributor to Brazilian football than Pele.

It seems the main reason why this trio worked so well is that despite their individual talent they were able to put their ego aside and just enjoy the moment. And sadly that is also why there won't be another one like this ever since players nowadays are so full of themselves and it's all about money.

It's no coincidence that the attacking trio represent Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. This is the quality of the players and the level of football played in South America, though the Europeans have a hard time processing this.

They played with such joy, a brotherly bond, that CR7/Bale could only dream of. I love the fact that this trio are friends beyond the pitch, and even beyond Barça. I'm glad that the brilliance I saw on the pitch was genuine and not just some formality as teammates or even colleagues. It's even more special considering that treble season felt like a cure for all three of them, after the pain and heartbreak they experienced in the 2014 World Cup.

Don't see the point. Look, the reason why the people like MSN so much is not because they won titles. People like them because it was amazing to watch them play together. The results might be the most important thing for the club fans. But to the rest of the world you want to sit on your couch and be entertained.

The greatest trio I’ve ever witness, and in many ways the beast team, they were pure magic on the pitch. A little thing that’s wrong in the video, Suarez didn’t “jumped ship”, Barca kick him out for being old and finished, and he took Ateltico to win the title the next season, was a beautiful little revenge story

Suarez was a special player. I loved Barca's entire midfield setup but Suarez was a special addition to that team.

Most important thing about these 3 was - they played selflessly and they kept team before individual performance which benefitted Barca alot in 2015 to 17 !! They use to support eachother, search for eachother and fight for eachother with opponents!! What made them special was how natural their partnership was not just on the pitch but off the pitch. As a barca fan I haven't been this happy since 2015. Hope we get to those levels soon

I don't think we'll ever see 3 of the 4 best players in an era to make a trio and it actually being a major success. Had Ney come to Barca when he was young like Ney and Suarez joined Barca back in 2011 or 2012, these players would've won 2 more UCL and Ney and Suarez would've won a Ballon do'r each. In 3 years, they ripped the footballing world apart and were above any trio in the history of the game.

just recalled all the matches through this video. Since 2014 I never missed any matches. What a time it was. You only know the importance,only when it become past. Scoring 7-0 in almost every match day , thought it was normal. Crazy Right , now we struggle to score just one goal. MSN was the best attacking trio that ever existed. Nobody can convience me otherwise. And the best part about that is , it will always exist in the history of my club. Beat that. What a amazing video and beautiful narration ,kudos to the maker.

That first season of this trio was pure magic. They flew over every team in UCL with an ease never seen before or after. After that, the team remained unchanged and they were less hungry for victory, perhaps too infatuated by their obvious superior talent. It's the difference with Real Madrid, they're more obsessed by the beauty of the game than by victory per se. They lack that Zidane mentality that brought Madrid those three consecutive UCL's in the following years.

I am fan of madrid, big fan. I love BBC, they are remarkable for me (and can be compared to top trio that has ever been or will be) especially in early years of Bale in Madrid. But MSN is still superior by quite much, i hate to admit it but DAMN Those Trio are deadly. And yes, ofc, thing that barca won are always more important even though sextuple requires ONE good season and treble is done by clubs every now and then. For example last season Man $ity did it, Bayern few seasons ago etc. Winning UCL 3 times in a row requires defeating top clubs in the World 3 YEARS IN A ROW. It takes skill and consistency.

@oumajgad6805 my bad I stand correct it was 5 in a row by madrid back in the day. 3 in a row has been done by Ajax and bayern as well as that madrid team so yeah not very special. Also yes one whole season without mistakes at all so hard alone barca has done it in a competing league and even outside of that it's been done once by bayern which happened recently. Winning the champions league 3 years in a row means you just played well in that tournament 3 years in a row not hard to throw all other trophies so you can play less games and be rested. To players and people who actually know the game this is clear prolonged greatest beats greatest over a short period everytime. Still waiting for some evidence or facts or really anything to back your arugement all I see is emotions. Try again buddy😂😂

You're arguing against yourself here. 3 > 1 mate. Also back in 60's and 70's UCL/EC was like 8 games. It was very different competition in very different times. That's why UCL is treated kinda separately when it comes to winning it or records. Now you have 6 games in group alone so you can end up with some random guy in shit team scoring more UCL goals than Di Stefano without going past 1st stage. Also sextuple is such an overrated thing to begin with when winning 2 trophies is literally 3 games and 3rd trophy is against teams from leagues that are 4th tier in Europe at best. But obviously to Barca fans winning against idk, Al Hilal = winning UCL. Dude, find me non barca fan that would prefer to win CWC once over UCL 3 times.

That was because they had a very legendary player as their manager, zinedine zidane, who strategized their formations logically, not to mention, they had other good players like casemiro, allowing strong offense and defense

Real Madrid. Cristiano at that time didn't have game involvement than anyone in MSN. MSN was doing everything from attacking from mid. Real had better mid, better defence and Ramos who saved them twice in UCL finals. Way better subs, better clutch players. And CR as striker was huge + point

What I’m about to say is going to sound extremely dramatic I struggled to make friends as a kid and as an adult Football has always been a social lubricant for me and has helped my life tremendously. And when I think back I feel so fkn lucky to have witnessed 2002 Brazil and have watched rivaldo, r9, Cafu, Ronaldinho, Roberto Carlos then to be able to witness cr7, messi, msn,bbc and players like zlatan, Buffon, Rooney, Thierry Henry, xavi, iniesta, modric and now haaland and mbappe ushering in a new generation of footballers within 25 years I feel I’ve witnessed the greatest footballers thst have ever lived (minus Maradona and pele)

As a Real Madrid fan, and a Barcelona fan in my father those years were absolutely peak in my life. We didn’t miss a game and both team were so beautiful to watch game after game after game. I couldn’t even hate how strong they were, I’m glad I could see both team at their full potential and enjoy every single game even when we lost those games

They were amazing but in my view they don't come close to Cr7, Benzima and Bale since they got 3 back to back champions leagues

Yep, you're right. But, in terms of play time Bale was not playing that much being out for several months, right? Benzema was playing for Ronaldo, in order to open spaces for him to net. And CR7 was bagging goals non stop. This trio was mesmerizing, but I do think Madrid's success was on its midfielders' shoulders, cause without these 3, it's hardly to believe these things would be achieved in apsence of these 3 lads.
