This song has a special place in my heart. I was born and brought up in a Catholic family in Texas and my boyfriend was born and brought up in a strict Hindu family back in India. He moved to the states for college around four years ago. We met in class and instantly fell for each other. The difference in our races created many obstacles for us. This is by far my favorite song in the album. To anyone who has been through this. Its was very awful and terrifying when someone has you in such a grip that at anytime they can just come back and hurt you and abuse you again. These lyrics explain it in such a way I could not. I've been feeling depressed a couple weeks ago and these lyrics just hit me so hard because its all i've been feeling lately Thank you for giving me a way to let out these feelings through this song I cried so much not knowing what to do, knowing my mistakes but also telling myself it wasnt all my fault This song and these times will remind me to be better and mark my life while i'm young Thank you so much

Its got that beautiful 80s vibe.

This album is nothing but a delightful masterpiece. All the songs are absolutely bangers and Nas clearly doesn’t miss because there’s not a single bad track that I found. Vocals are brilliant, the collaborations are beautiful, the music videos look stunning and the visualisers are such a huge treat for the rest of the album. He went the extra mile to make this Montero experience even more special and he’s absolutely delivered. This song brings a heavy wave of nostalgia with the punk rock vibe that I loved to experience in the 2000s. BOP after BOP! Thank you Lil Nas! Lil Nas X does it again! This song is so catchy, the palm-muted riffing driving it forward while those beautiful synths dance with his vocals over the top of it all. This one will stay in heavy rotation.

So many are saying that this song is giving them the nostalgic vibe and I agree. Remember when youre eight or something, and does not know/care about the realism of the lyrics? this is the type of music you'd hear in the car on an afternoon drive with your family

I can't even pick, everything is my favorite 🥺🥺 I'm all about void, but now Lost In The Citadel won't leave my head alone. Then there's Life After Salem that I still can't get over. The whole point is, I'm crazy about every fucking song on this album.
