Our hands and wrists can become tense, sore, and stiff as the result of overuse and poor organization. Chronic muscular tension in our hands can easily become an unconscious habitual pattern. If you work with your hands, text or type, play music, or have experienced repetitive strain injuries, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, or neurological impairments, this series of Feldenkrais classes with David Zemach-Bersin will help you.

You are so welcome!
Thank you so much, broke my left wrist and had surgery 13 days ago. Used my imagination on the left side but felt the sensation of connection through my body after the class finished. Bless you for your guidance.

Wonderful, Coco!
Thank yo very much for making these videos. Can these exercises help when the hand feels strong but very stiff and the thumb somehow blocked?

Absolutely! A full range of movement is not always the result of strength. It is possible to develop easy, fluid movement by using these Feldenkrais lessons. Please don't hesitate to write again and let me know how it goes for you!
Thank you so very much, always a great class. This class was a tough class for me to notice differences. I went slow made it smaller, everything felt connected and easy, which I was not expecting because I came to the lesson with a sore elbow. As the lesson went on a felt the connection of neck and hands and really improved all around. Just so odd I couldnt feel what was easier when we added the tongue, head turn etc. Always a great experience

Thank you so much. I am glad to hear you benefitted from the lesson. Often coming back to the lesson another time brings new experiences and ease where it wasn't before. Let me know how you get on and if you have any questions.
Does this lesson help hand tremors associated with Parkinson’s disease? If not, any suggestions?

Dear Cheng, I can't say whether or not this particular lesson will help with tremors, but Feldenkrais can be of great benefit to people with Parkinson's. Please feel free to write to communications@feldenkraisaccess.com if you need further assistance finding lessons that will help.
CONSISTENTLY AMAZING STUFF!!! Every time i do one of these videos the amount of healing is always so much more than i could have imagined!!! one problem though: i have so many younger friends in their 20s & 30s who have cancer and are suffering from various chronic pains that could really benefit from the feldenkrais method, but they lack the attention span.. so i show them but seeing the length of the video and the slowness of the speaking immediately freaks them out so they quit before they start. Its almost like it needs a hip young celebrity "influencer" to lure them in to even give it a shot (no offense to the man in the video.. just sayin!)

Hi Shirime! sorry for the delay in responding to your comment. It slipped by me :). I completely understand that difficulty, and have worked with young children with even LESS attention span, I imagine. One approach is to offer shorter lessons. Here is a series of audio only files which are not so long... www.feldenkraisaccess.com/soothe-calm Hope it helps!
