Hello Oksana, I consider myself an advanced amateur and rarely get too much out of many you tube tutorials but your thorough approach has really helped open my eyes to certain tiny details I was not aware of, and although I'm not too familiar with your work as a photographer you are clearly a gifted teacher!!! Add to that a cutie pie as well!. :-)

You can use all those cards for white balance and also for metering the exposure.

Grey card is a grey card and they can be used for both - WB and exposure. 18% grey color is what meters, not the size. Colorchecker passport will give you a bit more options in terms of WB with different grey for warmer or cooler picture.

Hi Oksana, Came across your videos on KZread while searching how to use 18% grey cards and white balance cards. I have watched all of your videos to date. You are the BEST teacher on KZread. Thank you for sharing your photography knowledge. I have learned so much from your videos. I like how you explain everything out so that we the viewers understand. I have a question about the 18% grey card. When I take a meter reading from the card, does it matter what metering mode I have my camera in? I have a canon 60D. I have also found that when I take a meter reading from the grey card in the area where my subject is that when I step back to take the photo with that same reading, my photo will sometimes be over or under exposed. Any suggestions?

Maybe the problem with the igger one is that u putted behind the yellow flower, so it maybe became more yellowish then that others, so it made the wall more green. I would put it in front of everything.

I thought the darker big grey card was an esposure card and the lighter grey card was the white balance card?? Another WB card I know of but have not tried is the whibal card. Your video was great though and easy to understand.

If you know this stuff or are a faster learner that's great, but I'm quite sure you know that she doesn't do these tutorials just for you. Many other people need longer, fuller descriptions to learn these techniques properly. So don't be a douche.

There's NO SUCH THING as an "18% gray card" because there's NO SUCH THING as 18% gray!! There IS, however, an 18% REFLECTANCE card! I think that's what you meant to say.
