LEGS & GLUTES Lower Body Foundation for Beginner
Did you know that your lower body can be split to your Glutes, Quads and Hamstrings? We need to train all muscle parts in order to build a strong lower body. In this workout session, I'll take you through a series of exercises to specifically target the quads, glutes and hamstrings, while giving a lot of attention to control and technique. A good workout starts with a good foundation, so let's get that lower body activated and ready to roll!
Workout Type: Strength Training
Duration: 37 minutes

    People says they see a change in you but they don’t know how many months and struggles you have been going through. Especially if you have a pear shape like me, lower body workout should be considered seriously to see the progress 🥗

    This workout was wakeup call for my lower body my lower body had just become tight because of traveling and this video of johanna really put my lower body on fire after this workout my lower body has become as light as it can be thanks johanna for this amazing workout

    I think we have to know ourselves first,then know your limit when doing exercise..i just started my weight lost journey,strive for no injury while exercises,so i start with stretching my body(follow your video really helps),then i do plank first for 5-8mins(helps me with backpain as i hv backpain),then i start my workouts.i just follow videos that suits me which didnt put heavy burdens to my overweight body.theres many videos out there you can choose dear.but your videos is one of my fav that i include in my routine now😍.thank you joannaa!!it really helps me in slimming down.

    I found your channel about a month ago and I'm very thankful. You are the first fitness KZreadr that has several workout videos that I can actually do. Plus you actually do the workouts with us, which is great because it helps me stay steady and focused. Can you do a lower body video with exercises that can be done more so on the mat and less reliant on balancing on one leg? I have Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy so my mobility, flexibility and balance are not great. I can't the exercises you do in your Low Impact Knee Friendly Beginner Workout video, nor can I do the squats or lungesin this video as my knees are great either. However, I can do the Kickbacks, the glute bridges and the stiff deadlifts in this video. I can also do the left lifts and Alternating knee tucks in your 40-minute Total Body Strength Training video. Would be great to have a lower foundation video with exercises that can be done on both feet or on the mat like l described above. I Iike to be able to do most, if not all the exercises in your videos. I get a better a workout that way. Thanks again for being so honest and understanding.

    hye joanna, i love love loveee your workout vidoes. May I ask you to consider doing a workout playlist for 8-5 working people. A playlist that’s suitable to keep them active, comprehensive to keep them healthy physically and mentally and yet simple, as 8-5 is so mentally and physically draining. Would love to see your take on it. Thanks!

    I've been having back pain and I thought working out will help with that. I got halfway through this workout and my legs started cramping. I've decided to stop here for tonight. This isn't me giving up! I'll be back 😁

    Omg me too my legs and feet felt like they were going to cramp so I couldn't do the each workout in good form. But i stopped after doing the 1st time. Couldn't do it all over again.😅

    Hi Joana...I'm from india....i delivered a baby boy 7 months ago and still I look pregnant ....I wanted to lose my momy weight and get fit ..my tummy is still looking pregnant ..I hav been following you from my school days and your workouts helped a lot ....due to pregnancy I was not doing workout of your as advised by doc...but I feel really your vedios would get me back to shape....plz include mommy tummy workout and workouts to lose mommy weight also...plz....I feel that your workouts are comfortable for me..,(may be due to the fact that I was following you from my age of 18) now that I'm 25 ....I do watched and tried many mommy workouts by other channels as well but I feel uncomfortable...     I have done this workout 3 4 times now, I'm not able to keep the pace as her but i try my best, the last workout is a bit hard for me...coz it makes me feel like im gonna get cramp:/ Anyways trying to get better and keep the pace every lower body workout day:) IKNOW ITS DIFFICULT, BUT KEEP IT UP YOU CAN DO IT!

    Joanna you use to say that losing 400-500 grams in a week is good but I'm losing 500 grams in a day by doing your exercises 3 days of strength training without weights 3 days cardio 1 day yoga and I eat 900-1000 calories per day is it safe and longterm weight loss

    Hey! As a general rule you should not eat below 1200 calories. To calculate how many calories you should be eating to lose weight, go online and search for a calorie calculator. It’ll ask you to input your gender, height, age, weight and your activity level. It’ll then give you an idea of how many calories you eat to maintain, lose or gain weight. Generally you eat around 500 less calories from your maintenance to lose fat. Drastically underrating can cause muscle loss along with many other things. You want muscle! It burns more calories at rest. Anyway, I hope this helps somewhat. Keep on your fitness journey and get your protein! 🌺

    Hello Joanna! I want to lose weight but I dont know how I can because i eat a lot of food. I eat whatever I want but still workout and I dont think I cant get results fast if i continue this. My height is 169cm and I weigh 67kg. My bmi is around 23.5. Do you have any tips or exercise I should to lose weight? E.g. running, jump roping, do ab workouts etc.. ( I am a very active person. I play sports and dance but i still cant seem to lose weight. Those things only help maintain my weight)

    As my hips are wider. I have heard we shouldn’t do lower body workouts with weights as it makes hips more wider. Is that true? I want to do this workout but not sure I should do with dumbbells or without dumbbells? Please suggest.

    For those who need it *embrace core* = pretend you about to get punched in the gut, brace lol If you still can’t feel it, maybe some core strengthening exercises. Either way, take your time with the exercises. You don’t need to finish in 36 mins just because the video is 36 mins long. Go back an repeat exercises if needed.
