Ойын-сауық
To commemorate the 20th Anniversary of 9/11, CNBC is remembering the fallen heroes who have graced our channel. Entrepreneur and former firefighter Keith Young was diagnosed with a 9/11 related cancer after working at Ground Zero. Sadly he passed away before he could see his invention Cup Board Pro take off, but his children continued his legacy.

I was 2 weeks shy of my 15th birthday on 9/11/01. I remember the planes hitting both towers. Out of all my memories I remember the men and women whom didn’t think twice and helped strangers. Your grandfather is a true hero. God bless him. And god bless and thank you to all the men and women who helped NYC when we were at our lowest. It’s my buildings. The Twin Towers will forever live with us. This shark tank story was beautiful. I’m glad they realize sometimes is not all about money. They helped these kids and also they showed the world they can be kind hearted on national tv. God bless you all.

My grandfather was a firefighter for 38 years in NYC. When 9/11 occurred, he had been retired for 14 years. He was 79 years old when the terrorist attacks happened, but wanted to go down to the city to assist in any way that he could. His health was not good, and we had to almost physically restrain him from going, for the sake of his own health. He had so many physical maladies at that time, the worst of which was his heart. First responders don't do anything because they have to. They step up to the plate because they WANT to. They risk their lives to save the lives of strangers. Whereas most people run from tragedy and danger, they run TOWARDS it. It takes a special person to be a first responder. I am proud that my Grandfather was one of those people, putting his life on the line each and every day that he worked for people that he did not even know.

As a father, I show my highest respect to their dad. He loved the family and he will be remembered!
It’s amazing how strong they are to keep their composure in front of the sharks while speaking/hearing about the death of both of their parents. It takes a lot of strength to control those emotions.

Their dad deserves to be remembered for years and years. What a man to overcome such horrible events and very upsetting for the kids to but that man was strong and to keep going after seeing those things in 9/11, losing his wife and then being told about having cancer and still pushing through….wow…Rest In Peace dude and thank you.
Omg, this made me cry.... It was sad enough to hear the dad had passed away, but then the mom too... I feel sorry for them, but their parents are looking down on them and feel so proud of them! The sharks handled this amazingly.
Strong kids come from strong parents. Appreciate the people who give you what you don't realize you have. We remember everyone who was lost today and will never forget.
Dad is helping take care of them even after he is gone. What a fantastic individual, father, and role model for all parents
I'm actually watching this right now and I never usually comment on these kinds of things but this was the best episode for a 9/11 NY'er. I'm so happy for these kids to endure the loss they've been through and still be able to get this opportunity. I'm sure their parents would be so proud of all 3 of them. My heart really goes out to all of these families and God bless NY!!💪💪💪😎
I saw this episode a few years ago..cried like a baby...these kids r amazing. Bless em all
I did not want to cry today... I guess there is always tomorrow. Such strong individuals
I love how the sharks jumped immediately into “we are helping this family. Let’s do this” in their conversation. It is really heartwarming to watch people. One together like this!
These are the three strongest kids I’ve ever watched in my life. To keep a smile on your face and present as well as they did… their parents did their jobs.
One of the most wholesome clips I've seen on shark tanks in many years. God bless those kids. R.I.P. to their parents and all the 9/11 victims
I've watched this clip several times since the original date, but yet EVERYTIME I still cry. Got bless these kids. As someone who lost one parent very young, I could only imagine losing both at a young age. RIP to their dad and all impacted by 9/11 and cancer 🙏
That has me in tears! So wonderful to see all the Sharks work together to help this family. A happy moment.
When you think you have it hard... This was so emotional to watch, especially the video clip of their dad enjoying his 3 children and watching all he did with them after their mom past away. It was heart-warming that each of the sharks went in on this together. Both their parents are looking over their children and are super proud of what they're accomplishing in their lives. God Bless these kids and the Sharks for helping them. XO
Holy moly, what a one two punch of a story. The Dead look of pain and anguish on the sons face is making be tear up.
talk about heart wrenching. that is 1 proud poppa smiling down on those kids
I think this might be the most charitable they've ever made. All the kids had was product and a story. And that story got all five sharks on board in an incredible deal. It's really amazing to see this kind of generosity
Incredible strength by these young entrepreneurs. Good to see the sharks become more humanize by giving the young family a opportunity.
The second they played the clip of the dad, I recognized him from Chopped. I'm devastated to hear that he passed; he seemed like an amazing man. Proud of his children for carrying on his legacy and I hope they're doing well today
Daymond is my favorite shark. He’s someone that came from hard times and came from nothing and is now one of the wealthiest people in the world. And being rich hasn’t changed his core values of doing right by people. He does truly have a heart of gold.
Does anyone realize that, that woman took responsibility for her 2 younger siblings at nineteen!! WOW!
To make it an even happier ending... I read that within 18 hours after this episode first aired, they made 1 million dollars in sales. This company has a net worth now of 17 million.
I've heard so many sob stories on this show and this is the only one that truly brought me to tears. Lost BOTH their parents. So sad!
Its rare a clip from Shark tank makes you cry. Godspeed to these kids.
I think it was phenomenal that the Young family used their Father's promotional video the he would have used for his Shark Tank audition to demonstrate his product . Well done for the Sharks to show such genuine generosity. Best pitch and Best offer and Best Deal ever done by the Sharks. So proud of the Young Family and so Proud of the Sharks!

Omg 😢 I’m truly moved by these strong siblings. I can’t even imagine how hard it would be to lose your mom and then go through the same with your dad at such a young age. Heartbreaking, yet inspiring.
Those poor kids. Especially the youngest sister. They are doing so well and the parents are proud thats without a doubt
I remember him from chopped. He was amazing! He was in there multiple times. I can’t believe it’s him who is gone. He was so distraught over his wife’s passing. Man, that sucks. I am, however, so happy that he and his wife raised beautiful children and now they are being taken care of and won’t have to worry. ❤️ Praise God!
I love how the Sharks asked the children to step out for a moment, and once they did the Sharks immediately started working together to give them a great deal. Way to go Sharks. Way to go kids.
All the sharks, especially Daymond, earned a lot of respect for what they did here. This wasn't staged or for show. This was a geniune scenario that just so happened to make it into the spotlight. God❤

This brought tears to me. Those kids are so strong.
Imagine how thick skin these kids developed. They didn’t lose both parents in the same time frame, they first lost their mother then their father. They literally had to go thru that immense pain twice. I deff know also know this is a great move by the sharks not only in terms of a great product, “PR”, and etc. but these kids running the family business would work hard to honor both their parents, having a different drive, and cause they deserve it. Hope the best. From once a kid that lost both parents separately. Sometimes a loss changes us to make gains that is stronger than words can describe!
