Having driven or owned several cars I must say the cars I prefer are those older models. No electric fuel injection, electric windows, safety bumpers, etc. The challenger is to find mechanics who know how to tune soles or Weber carburetors. In California I met a friend of a friend who Knew how to tune Mercedes gullwing. At some point I want to buy a MB 600 Grosser, not the stretch version but the smaller one. Older cars are analog where modern cars are digital. Newer cars may be easier to service but they don’t have the soul of older cars. They sound better and they make the driver more in touch with driving, the road, the driving experience.
