The sad part is that your comment is 100% right. Vegas is a better location, more profitable, the Raiders are finally getting a new stadium which is long overdue and Vegas is going to be a huge attraction to players in free agency. The only sad part is that the Raider Nation is one of the most loyal fanbases in all of sports.. but thankfully that fanbase will continue staying loyal and will paint Vegas black.

As a little kid I was at the last Raider game(vs Bears)in Oakland before they moved to LA, and I was at the last Raider game in Oakland (vs Jags)before they moved to LV. Some of the best times in my life were at the Coliseum watching my Raiders. But even this doesn't escape the impermanence of Life. I think as fans we trap ourselves into believing no matter how hard life gets, we'll always have our teams to go to on Sunday. It's a hard pill to swallow for fans that don't have that luxury. Myself, and many fellow Raider fans had to swallow that pill twice. Still, I have no regrets. Those memories in the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum are mine, and aren't subject to relocation. I went to a Raiders game in LV last season. I had fun, stadium is beautiful, but it's not the same, never will be.

I’m so thankful I got to go to experience my first Raider game in Oakland on Dec 9, 2018 being a fan for only 3 years I’ve seen a lot, heard a lot, witnessed a lot and now I know what it’s like being part of Raider Nation! It’s all about dedication and loyalty, there ain’t no other team like the raiders the fans are the realest most notorious fan base in the NFL and I’m proud to be a part of it! WIN OR LOSE TIE TILL I DIE I’M ALL IN RN4L🏴‍☠️☠️⚔️🖤

I'm a true raider fan from Oakland California I was born 1975 at the Oakland hospital 27th avenue on foothill or East 14th I should say I get props to this 49er fan that did a good video of the raiders when he said he was sad for the 49ers they went to Santa Clara and now it's only 30 miles away we're talking about an hour on the airplane 12 hours driving now that hurts more God bless this fan for saying a good video love it keep going brother

Great video young man! You caught the spirit of the fans and the hole Coliseum experience. Very well done! I was 8 years old when the Coliseum opened in 1966, been a fan ever since. Over the years i got to see Daryl "The Mad Bomber" Lomanica, Kenny "Snake" Stabler and Jim "One Bad Ass Mexican" Plunkett play from the ORIGINAL Oakland Raiders before they moved to L.A. in 1982. I cried when they left Oakland (I was 22) and 13 years later i cried tears of joy when they returned home. And now this old timer has tears once again, but also GREAT MEMORIES! RN4L!!!

Damn, this brought back a lot of memories. I'm a lifelong Saints fan that grew up in New Orleans but I spent 3 years (1981-1984) in the Bay Area during my Air Force days. Went to many football and baseball games at The Stick and what was then Oakland - Alameda County Coliseum. Had HUGE fun going to A's games in 1982 when Rickey Henderson was stealing people blind on the base paths. I saw firsthand how Raiders fans felt the first time that the Raiders left. As you said, I don't wish that feeling on any fan base. I should be excited that the Raiders are coming to my adopted city but it's hard to be, knowing what this has done to what will always be the REAL home of Raider Nation. Respect from an old geezer NFL fan. Thanks for the great video, you have a new sub.

I remember saying in another video that u looked and reminded me of Woody the Norteno rapper. glad to know there's still down to earth people left in the bay as our generation born in the 80s gives way to the new generation. I'm from the San Jose area but we all connected somehow.

First Super Bowl I watched was Super Bowl VI. Then I watched Ghost to the post the following Christmas Eve. I loved Bert Jones as a kid. Crazy that both owners screwed their fanbase. Raiders will never be that type of team again. That has died with Madden, Al Davis and this new bread of NFL.

I am just a guy in Germany but I love the Oakland raiders and I will thank you that you share this amazing moment with us! Thanks you for this experience!

Yeah I missed going to that game but when I do the tail gate parties are really fun everyone offering a plate of food to eat and all around good time with visiting fan's from the other team's not like what the media puts out. Going to miss those time's make some new memories at the Vegas stadium

Classy video, dude. Especially cause you're a Niner fan! I'm also a Niner fan, I went to an Oakland Coliseum game last year (2018), because my cousin is a Raider fan but he lives in Houston Texas. He was visiting for the holidays and he bought my ticket, so I drove us up to Oakland for the game against the Chiefs. I wore all black, with a Black/Gold Warriors hat, even the die-hard Raider fan sitting behind us knew I wasn't a Raider fan because of it hahah.. I was like "I'ma tell u something dude, I'm a Niner fan." He just said "I know. You're not wearing any Raider gear, look at the rest of us." Back in 2017 I had bought my cousin his ticket and took him to a Monday Night Football game (Niners vs Rams) at Levi's Stadium, so he was kinda returning the favor. He was just happy to have attended the Oakland stadium before they moved to Vegas. Sadly, I never attended Candlestick and it will always be one of my biggest regrets.

The whole time I'm in a stadium I'm thinking about all the sports history there and also personal history. Wish you could have gotten to see Candlestick yourself, it was the best. The best professional football game ever played was at the Oakland Coliseum. It pitted the 2 time World Champion, and 3 time AFC representative Miami Dolphins vs. the Madden Oakland Raiders. Hard hitting, mostly clean, well played, well coached game. "The Sea of Hands" game. Miami played like a champion. Bryan Griese was great. Shula vs Madden. Final score: Raiders 28, Dolphins 26, A classic.

I think Mark Davis and probably Al before he passed were dead set on leaving anyways. Al Davis never wanted to come back to Oakland in my opinion. It's a dump but I love the place

Just stumbled upon your video. I'm a Rams fan and also appreciate stadiums and architecture. Yes it was sad to see the Raiders play their last game in Oakland. Despite having a bad reputation, I feel that the Raiders' fans may be one of the most loyal group in the NFL. I've been to the Oakland Coliseum on a few occasions and it should be declared a National Historic monument and not torn down. But who would pay for the maintinence costs and the land there is highly valuable. I've been to Candlestick and Levi's too. BTW, Levi's Stadium is one of my favorite because it's the ONLY one that puts the luxury boxes on one side meaning the blue-collar fans can sit closer to the action. Looking forward to them opening Sofi in Inglewood, but it suffers from that luxury-box problem The Raiders new digs in Vegas are also fan-friendly. Meaning the seats are close to the action. Miss the LA Coliseum as well. Nice vid, I'll be watching more.

I can't say one because it depends on the metrics... Classic/historic I'm gonna go Wrigley Field, modern and impressive I would lean towards the new Vikings stadium, good mix Oracle Park or PNC Park. I still need to travel more though and international stadiums I'm not as well versed. I don't know if anything tops Tropicana Field tho 😁

As a Niners fan my one regret is that I never visited Candlestick park before it was demolished. So I know how some Raiders fan might feel. You should have worn a Jerry Rice Raiders Jersey. That would have been the only Raiders Jersey I would wear to the last Raiders home game. 😂

Watching this 3 years after the move, the unique culture of the team is dead. Tailgating is mostly over. The Vegas stadium is routinely filled with 60% tourist and opposing team fans. Mark got his money, and killed that rabid passionate culture that surrounded the team. Good job, Mark. You fill those seats in Vegas, just a good chunk of them aren't Raider fans anymore.

Wish I knew he was out there I would have went over there

I've been a season ticket holder for the last six years, grew closer with the people I sat around with in my section and close with the people I tailgated with. Even grew close with the Usher. Some people may think Raider fans are crazy and drunks, but they don't realize that our fanbase at these games are one big ROWDY family. I'd remember just sitting at my seat and just letting those memories hit me. Been a raider fan since I was ten years old.

im ready for las vegas, nice stadium and a fresh restart with a new decade and a new stadium.

pros of raiders leaving: no rough surface, new stadium, new surface, etc cons:they wont be oakland raiders no more battle of the bay

I miss walking by that stadium to go to warrior games and going on Bart in the east bay
