I was like “WTF are you doing, coach???” Then after we made it, I was yelling at the D to limit Brees’ yardage. And their FG went up, long enough, but barely out. I ran around the coach 7-8 times, screaming like a little kid.

Don't get me wrong, I like what we have right now. But as a young raider fan, this team will be my favorite and not forgotten at least. We had literally in the words of Jon Gruden, "a great group of guys" that were all down to win and leave it on the field. Like we were tied at 9-2 with the fucking Patriots that year. Imagine if Carr finished healthy...

Chick Hearn, Vin Scully, Bob Miller, AND Greg Papa... Im a very lucky sports fan to have had these great men call my favorite teams over the years!

I was at that Tampa game. Both fanbases were beaten down by the heat. I can only imagine how the players on both sides felt. However, that game winning catch was electric. I already miss Greg Papa. It's an absolute shame he won't be calling the Raider games anymore.

actually in the Saint game, when the Raiders got called for excessive celebration, it was a good thing. a regular kickoff, Seabass would have put it in the end zone or passed the end zone for a touchback, no time off the clock. kicking from the 20, the Saints were forced to return it, and with his strong leg, Janikowski made them return from very deep and still only wound up around the 20.

God I miss Greg Papa. His excited enthusiasm always gave me a sense of joy and tears. GL Mr. Papa where you may be; #RaiderNation misses you!

The BAL game convinced me that we were for real that season. They were undefeated and at home and against a perennial power. Carr and Crabs were completely synced that game. The final TD was the most perfect throw I have ever seen. You can hear Papa slamming the table when he mistakenly thinks Crabs was out.

Man Greg's play by plays are awesome.

Man, I miss when we were good, AND we had Greg Papa calling the play-by-play... #LEGENDARY

Look at all the the special teams plays made by Brendan Trawick and Daren Bates. Both are in Tennessee. You don't replace that easily. That New Orleans game came down to about two extra yards of field position. If that was a 59 yard FG instead of 61, we lose. I'm more concerned about that than anything else in terms of losses.

I was at this game. What an awesome game and great win. I couldnt watch the missed field goal I was too scared. Walking into that stadium with the Raider Nation filling the streets of New Orleans all the way to walking about of their with the W. What a great feeling! Love my Raiders!

It will be really sad that Greg Papa will stay here when the Raiders move to Vegas. I really hope he follows the team because his iconic voice to me will always be part of the Raiders! The onE and ONLY NATION...RAIDER NATION!
