Do you have the originals of those pictures? Especially the one with the Flavia in the background at 0:40

Sehr seltener Umbau! Brutale Optik! ;-)

It transpires that the SVR Jota actually used a factory Split Sump Miura SVJ with chassis number 5084 as its base, and was not based on a Miura P400S chassis number 3781 at all. The chassis number was changed from 5084 to 3781, for some reason that has not yet been made clear, which has lead to the misinformation that it was based on a P400S, and not the SVJ it was really based on. I wonder if Heinz Steber actually knew that there was already a SV Split Sump engine/transaxle in his car before swapping for the tuned single sump engine from the Miura Millechiodi P400S chassis number 4302 that was then said to have been converted by Steber to a Split Sump?

This was NOT a Factory supported modification like they are claiming calling it an SVR.

So , he's taken what is probably one of the most beautifully designed cars and thought he could improve on perfection . It's like taking a stunningly beautiful woman and putting her in cheap tacky clothes and make up. The Germans are brilliant engineers but best leave beauty to the Italians - this looks terrible .
und den gibt es nicht mehr. Verschrottet.

Dai su, torna su "faccialibro" a commentare minchiate...

It may be faster and handle better than the original, but at the cost of ruining the appearance of the single most beautiful automotive designs ever conceived. It hurts my eyes to look at this abomination....

I love all of the comments about this being a total abomination. I agree. They have taken one of the most beautiful cars ever and turned it into junk. I wish I could afford to buy it so I can put it into a car crusher and have the metal melted down for steel.

Thank you for sharing this! Absolutely stunning.
