Amada krdni xwardni kulturi kurdi bo jazhn❤️ Special meal preparation for Jazhn/Eid.💛 For this special day, family gathers together for a bountiful meal in the morning, and later go around the neighbourhood greeting family and friends and wishing them a blessed Jazhn.💚
Ingredients:
🔸Bean soup;
▫️Beans
▫️onion
▫️oil
▫️1 tsp curry powder
▫️1 tsp black pepper
▫️1 tbsp salt
▫️4 tbsp tomato paste
▫️3-4 cups boiling water
🔸Chicken;
▫️1 whole chicken
▫️5 tbsp olive oil
▫️1 tsp curry powder
▫️1 tsp bbq seasoning
▫️1 tsp black pepper
▫️2 tsp chicken seasoning
▫️1 tsp paprika powder
▫️1/2 lime / lemon
▫️2 tsp tomato paste
▫️1 tbsp salt
▫️1 tsp dried parsley
▫️1 large onion
▫️2-3 cloves of garlic
▫️2-3 springs fresh rosemary (important ingredient) it will make a difference!
🔸Apricot soup;
▫️1/2 kilo fresh apricots ( You can use dried apricots, but you have to cook it for longer)
▫️oil
▫️1 tbsp raisins
▫️1 cup boiling water
▫️6 tbsp sugar
▫️1 tsp tomato paste
▫️4 tbsp beef stock or boiling water
▫️1/4 cup walnuts
▫️(You can add some cooked lamb if you like)
🔸Rice;
▫️5 cups rice
▫️boiling water
▫️salt
▫️naan bread for the bottom (optional)
▫️1 cup hot oil
🔹Decorations for the rice;
▫️1/2 cup vermicelli
▫️1 tsp salt
▫️1/2 cup boiling water
▫️1/2 cup almonds (fry)
▫️2-3 tbsp raisins (fry)

▫️1/2 kup badam / bawi (sury kawa)
