Jesus please get your fucking facts right this was never a Mariah Carey number it was written by Pete Ham and Tom Evans of Bandfinger in the 70’s for the album No dice and give to Harry Nilsson to have a hit single with, but that would be so much more obvious if people stooped calling it a Mariah Carrey song and actually correctly named their videos. Apart from recording it as a single she has fuck all to do with this song.

@@CricketEngland It's Mariah Careys song because she is singing her rendition of it. Just like when people say "I will always love you" is Whitney Houston's song when it's originally by Dolly Parton.

@@bananamcdonald4916 and that’s the problem people only ever remember these versions on not the originals artists who wrote the song and you would think that on a bloody music show with so called musical experts sitting in those chairs they would at least got the f’ing graphics right..... It doesn’t matter what bloody version of the song she is singling they should still have put Badfinger (Because they are the original artists and writes) and not Mariah Carey and that the point How would you like it if you heard your song being sung that you wrote and then saw they had credited it to someone else I would be totally pissed off myself...

@@CricketEngland The original singers are always getting paid so pretty sure they are fine with it. These music shows need purpose to broadcast the songs from the original musicians so without badfingers permission it wouldn't have been broadcasted anyway

This show rocks. I am tortured by the US version, which is deteriorating. I only wish I spoke French as the judges seen both genuine and knowledgeable. I have seen more good auditions in one night of this show than an entire season overseas. You are very fortunate.
