the first video i watch of this guy, was when he rocked I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU and again this one😎 the soft-yearn range to the belting range of his voice and how he rocked-range the song was outrageous😘. he followed the version and style of Mariah's cover just made it rock version... notes have not changed but the singing style has. this song has been covered by so many artists, in their own styles. Like my favorites Mariah's style and Air Supply's style...

Hence, his cover is a different style of Mariah's version which is a different style of Harry's version (neither of which are, comparatively, close to the actual original). If you think "he followed the version" of Mariah, he followed the version of Harry.

You need to hear Harry’s voice. He did NOT wobble the notes like Carey does. Imho, while not expecting agreement, I don’t care for the singer who takes the voice all over the place, and then into the back yard. It ruins the melody of the song.
