Dolphins are going to be an interesting team to watch over the next year. They already had to let some other studs go like Wilkins because they couldn’t afford him. Now they’re paying 2 receivers so much money and Tyreek is going to ask for more, and Tua’s gonna want an extension. I just dont know how they’re going to keep this team together.

Miami made this happen because they back loaded Hill's contract with a 45 mil last year, which they don't want to pay. Hill wants to be paid top WR money, that's the only reason he's in Miami to begin with... so Miami will either pay Hill top WR money in a new contract, or he's in his final year there because they can't afford the 45 mil a year in his current contract. They could trade him this year, like KC did, but Miami's not smart enough for that type of move.

I am a life long Dolphin Fan from NJ. 45% of the fan base hates Tua 45% think he is flawless and no one can say anything bad about him. There there are the 10% of us that see him for what he is a solid NFL starter. I am a fan i am happy for the kid that he proved the haters wrong that he is trash. But he also is not elite and does not deserve elite money. Could he improve this year and earn a big contract. Sure and i would be happy if he did. But if its more of the same i dont want to pay $50 plus.

I have to laugh when people balk at paying Tua top dollar, yet somehow the Joe Burrow contract was a non-issue. Even after not starting his entire rookie season, Tua has started one fewer game, and his QB rating is almost identical.

I’m a minor Tua fan even though I root for the Bills. Tua gets a bad rap although even I will admit his arm strength is pretty sub-par for a modern-day NFL quarterback. But I think, if you do comps, and take a whole bunch of things into consideration, Tua is worth around 40-mil per. I’m discounting his salary based upon height, injuries, and lack of arm strength. I’m just throwing out a number but it feels about right to me. Now of course Tua probably wouldn’t take it but in some Alternate Universe if the Dolphins made an offer like that I think Tua should begrudgingly take it. (I’ve written before but he does have a World-Class release, he’s remarkably accurate on short-to-intermediate routes, and his numbers are usually very good. Those traits must be considered too.)

With the 5th pick in the 2020 NFL draft the miami dolphins will regret drafting Tua Tagovailoa, weak arm injury prone quarterback from Alabama 🏥🏟🚌💨🏈🥋🧔🏾🗑🚮👀💯💯🙄😒

These guys are so confused. Waddle doesn't make any of that money until 2026. Hill will get his extension, when the year ends in 5. And Hill's market isn't Justin Jefferson. There is a 5 year age difference.

The one area where I will defend tua and trust me as a dolphin fan. I don't defend him often even though I am happy we have him as a quarterback though I don't think he's worth 50 million plus a year. The whole tua throws a four yard pass and then Tyreek takes that four yard pass all the way down for a touchdown is such an intellectually dishonest conversation to even have because it's a lie. Most of last season tua at least throughout half of the year tua was number one in deep ball accuracy and no that is not dink and dunk that is down the field. 14 yards or farther including bombs. So in that area these guys are being very dishonest now in everything else I agree with their take

Tua needs to change the narrative about how he plays against winning teams, and in the cold. His career record against winning teams is 7-14, but only 1-6 last year. 410/683 = 60% 4,727 yards = 225 a game 28 TD = 1.33 a game 18 INT= 0.86 a game 84.3 passer rating
