LMFAO
They do this every time. They draft well, develop those great players and screw up when it comes time to pay them. They wait and wait, until it starts costing them more and more. They could have saved so much on Dak had they paid him a year or two earlier. They will do the same with Cee-Dee and they will do it with Micah. They have been doing it since Emmitt's holdout.
This is what happens when your Owner is also your GM. OL' Jerry runs his club like its the 1980's. In the modern day NFL, you need to be salary cap Guru, and Jerry is not that. "ALL IN"? ok Jerry, that means restructuring contracts to free up capitol, then signing your star players to long term contracts. Then attract and sign top level free agents to fill your team. The cowboys say they like to draft and grow talent from within. that's just an excuse, because they don't have any salary cap room to sign anybody. They will never win the SB with Jerry at the helm.
Big Mike needs to hold out!
I believe that Cee Dee has realized he's not going to have a better year than last year. Especially with the departures the cowboys have allowed. He wants to secure the bag before doing anything else. Cowboys should move on from dak. How long are the cowboys going to keep trying with him? It's almost been close to ten years with dak, maybe longer.

@@henrywallacesghost5883 Yes, but the other guy is right: They SHOULDN'T do that!
Coaches would be on the unemployment line as Chris says because they are the easiest to replace on any team you want to say you did something to change it. No strings, just pay his salary and you're done.
Great drafting leads to problems when it comes time to pay these picks. Parsons and Lamb will break the bank, and they’re both phenomenal
They haven’t signed Dak and CD cuz they’re not going to. And the “all in” coach speak? I sincerely believe this team is tank to build. They’ll drop Dak and trade CD and Micah for a haul. I know it makes no sense for JJ to rebuild at his age but…everything else makes sense in that light.
Stephen A. Smith: “How, do you do?” 😎 AND “How about them Cowboys!” 🤠
The way Dallas keeps coming up short in the PLAYOFFS year after year, there shouldn't be one COWBOY asking for a damn rsise
Any time there's a video about the Cowboys, serious Cowboys fans get super upset and nasty in the comments. They are VERY defensive and VERY supportive, being the GREAT fans that they are. And I mean that. But my question is WHY. Why would someone continue to cling to anyone at all who does not meet their desires? Because they did something swell in 1993? Because there's a glimmer of hope once a year? We know they're "emotionally invested," but this relationship is toxic. Get wise and give it up, boys!
Holdouts should be prohibited. And a waive off reason.
"I think I'm getting a divorce!" Needs to be a soundbite!
Goff, Sewell, and St Brown got paid and believe there will be money for Hutch. McNeil probably going to get a nice bag too
The cowboys need a real gm that knows what they are doing.

I agree with Chris 100%. Mike McCarthy is just letting it out, because hey, he's done after this year.... He is done, and he knows he's done.... Who did he replace again??? Oh yeah, that was Jason Garrett.... Yeah, yeah... And was he fired? No, no he wasn't... He coached until the clock ran out on his contract..... So yeah... Jerry does this. A Professional GM understands that this is not how to run a team, but.... As a practical matter, it's near impossible to run an organization with a "Dead Man Coaching" standing there at the podium.... And by the way, Dan Campbell left last year, and took some assistant coaches with him..... So Mike needs what, NFC Championship Appearance, at least, to get a new contract???? Seems unlikely....

"Who did he replace again??? Oh yeah, that was Jason Garrett.... Yeah, yeah... And was he fired? No, no he wasn't... He coached until the clock ran out on his contract....." So you're just gonna ignore the fact that Garrett got multiple contracts? Like when he signed a new 5 year deal in 2015, coming off of a 12-4 season that finished with a 1-1 playoff run, after he had been the HC since mid-season 2010. But, hey, itchy trigger finger Jerry is just so DESPERATE to fire HCs, amirite? The media told me that McCarthy "iZ On DuH hoT SeAT" so it must be true! BTW, Dan Quinn left last year, and of course he took assistant coaches last year - why the hell would the new Defensive Coordinator want the old DC's staff?! Of course they locked up Al Harris though, he has a lot of potential.
Parsons will get his new contract 1st. Jerry is gonna see how the team does before he recommits to Dak. If they don't get to the NFC championship game Dak is gone. That frees up money for Lamb.
