@@pfam128 Super Dante is a form in just about all of the games that you unlock for beating the game on a higher difficulty. It isn't cannon that he has infinite DT, otherwise, he would ALWAYS use it.

Ikr, people taking game mechanics as truth. People saying super sonic lasts a minute yet hes lasted for days. And dantes devil trigger is just him using more of his devil DNA, so theoretically he could stay as long has he needs. He probably just didnt need to.

If Nero was able to regenerate his arm back I bet Dante would as well.

Dude Nero was not stronger than Dante and Vergil Dante and Vergil had already weakened each other substantially by the time Nero showed up. Vergil he wasn't even able to regen Health in his Devil Triggered state even though its been shown time and again that Dante and Vergil can rapidly recover their strength if they aren’t actively fighting. But Dante and Vergil had literally beaten each other down so hard that they were sure the final clash between them would kill the other if they connected the final blow even though they could only stay in Sin Devil Trigger state for about a few seconds

Not half bad but there are a few things you missed. 1: Beowulf the light demon. There’s an attack description for Beowulf in dmc3 that states that it hits with the force of a small supernova putting Dante well above planetary since he could beat Beowulf in base form (statement is even supported by the divinity statue which is an omniscient being) this also adds to Dante’s speed since Beowulf’s attacks are light based Dante dodges these attacks with relative ease making him FTL. 2: quicksilver and bangle of time. Both of these effectively freeze time slowing down time is just in gameplay the cutscene where he acquires quicksilver shows that it stops time since the stones are all suspended in the air instead of falling slower. 3: Universal Dmc. The mundus feat actually isn’t an outlier sparda separates the human realm from the demon realm. The demon is confirmed to be infinite in size. In the dmc2 novel Dante fights mundus again and in this fight mundus becomes a void Dante still beats him and it’s confirmed that the void collapsed. Mundus dimension is confirmed to be a full size universe comparable to our own along with the fact that his power surpasses the beastheads which made a parallel dimension. On top of that Dante is more powerful than the savior which contains dimensions inside of it. Along with him completely washing argosax in his base form who is stronger than both mundus and sparda. If that still doesn’t convince you that they’re universal the amount of stars mundus creates on screen would at least put them at multi solar system to galaxy level and they travel past those stars at MFTL+ speeds. But overall good analysis on Dante I’m looking forward to your future projects hope you do a power scale on bayonetta and asura.

Good points. Something else pointing Dante being universal is in DMC2. Dante managed to casually kill Argosax's true form. And Argosax was described to be able to fuse the human world and demon world through his mere existence. Making him powerful enough to fuse two universes together.

@@s-boy4613 In the Novels it was also stated the when Dante defeated Mundus he was causing the collapse of the demon world meaning that Mundus is also universal in level and Dante was able to overpower a Demon of similar power in Dmc2 casually.

Dante can easily regenerate his limbs if he ever loses them, which would be tough considering he instantly heals, after being sliced in half a bunch mid battle. He's also easily faster than light based off the first game alone, even dmc3 Dante is. There are also way too many universal things in the lore for him not to be comparable. Dante can also teleport and become nigh-invulnerable. His dad soloing all of Hell and separating the 2 dimensions (which are both infinite in size) is an insanely solid universal+ feat.

Not even nigh-invulnerable, he becomes absolutely invulnerable, Royal Guard is just that strong. That and the thing you mentioned about Sparda, the fact that Sparda had that much power and that Dante absorbed said power almost entirely through the Sparda and The Rebellion means Dante is easily on the same level if not massively surpassed his own fathers power when you take into account all of the power boosts Dante has gotten throughout the games. He was even absorbing blood from the Qliphoth like Urizen while in a coma. The fact that Vergil is equal to him is scary when you take into account that Vergil hasn't absorbed Spardas power from the Yamato yet, which means Vergil has another power threshhold to break and unlock something even bigger than SDT, and likewise the same for Dante with that being the case. People severely underscale the twins when talking about power level, for what reason I have no idea

Mundus creating a Universe is an outlier feat? Dude, in the DMC2 novel (Yes, the DMC2 novel is considered canon now.) Mundus created the beast heads and each beasthead is a physical manifestation of time and space meaning they each have a universe inside of them. Also Argosax & the Despair Embodied are actually two separate entities. The Despair Embodied is a reference to Ragnarok and he is more powerful than both Argosax & Mundus. And the reason why Abigail didn't just outright destroy Earth was because he literally said he wanted to rule it. Not destroy it. You can't rule & destroy something.

For one every on Nirn is 4-D because Nirn is a universe, so because they exist in a 4-D planet they are by nature infinitely above Dante who is 3-D. secondly, Random Mages in Elder scrolls can move at faster than Light speed...Dovahkiin was able to keep up Alduin who is stated to be a God; it's stated in the game and in the Lore the Nature of being a God means you Transcend Time and Space. Dovahkiin is leagues and leagues faster than Dante. Thirdly, The Dovahkiin is the prisoner, in canon those who are prisoners are actually stated to be above daedric Prince's of Oblivion. If you don't know who they are there powers goes way beyond 6-D. Yes, Dovahkiin would destroy DMC verse casually. the Souless one who is also the prisoner was able to defeat Molag Bol while in his plane of reality. and Dovahkiin as pretty much every weapon the Souless one had in that fight with Molag Bol. Dragonborn>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>All of DMC verse casually.

Him only being lightning speed is downplay considering those statements are just made to sound cool for example calling Superman “faster then a speeding bullet” when he is way faster then that. Dante is extremely quick, it even stated it looks like he’s telerporting and considering he’s dodging literal lighting attacks while joking around. Trish is literally lighting and he outclasses her multiple times. Also considering those statements started in earlier games And his power increases each game he is way quicker then lightning

I actually believe that the Sin devil trigger is combination of the Majin devil trigger and the Sparada devil trigger because Sin DT looks extremely similar the Majin DT and has most of it's moves are based off the Majin DT. This would also make Sin Devil Trigger stronger than people think.

i dont know if it actually is sin devil trigger, youre talking about "majin DT" and if it was sin DT im sure it would be named that, but the only thing that actually makes it looks like sin dt, is the 4 wings, but the rest looks completely wrong. i wouldnt be surprised if majin is just the combination of sparda (because of looks like the horns thats similar to spardas, and the color) and maybe normal DT (because of the wings) then sin DT is probably normal devil trigger (along with the complete absorption of rebellion) because of the fiery glow and many other looks, aswell as the sparda form maybe (along with the complete absorption of sparda), think of it like this, normal devil trigger is super saiyan 1, sparda devil trigger is super saiyan 2, majin devil trigger is super saiyan god, and sin devil trigger is super saiyan god super saiyan.

Saying the Mundus feat is an outlier is actually wrong. Argosax was stated multiple times throughout the game to be casually effecting time and space of both the demon realm and human realm during DMC2, it's why we can face phantom again. His power just existing is fusing the two DMC universes together, with the human and demon realm. That's casual low multiverse power. Then you've got Void Mundus who is canon, who is literally Super Mundus who beat Sparda and became the incarnation of the entire demonic realms power. Once again, giving him base universal as he literally is one practically. Then you've got Sparda who literally can seal two universes apart from each other. Mundus also is the reason why the human realm and underworld were one in the first place, his sheer power bringing the two universes together. Again, universal+ feat. Almost all the God Tier DMC characters have Universal+ feats, let alone not having enough. The only one that doesn't is Urizen, who never tries to do so to begin with yet shakes the world/s itself just as a casual occurrence of him fighting Dante. Which when you realize when they say "worlds" in DMC they generally mean universes(which is likely mistranslation due to the fact that the kanji for world and universe is the same.), likely means they were shaking the universe from fighting, much like say, Beerus and Goku. Also once again, when the dev strictly says "Yes, he created his own universe", you can't just ignore that and say it's a pocket dimension. He said it was a universe, so it's a universe. Which again, isn't that surprising since he had enough power to fuse two universes together to begin with.

There is no “low multiversal” a multiverse contains an infinite amount of universes. He is universal+ and can affect spacetime with his leaking power he cannot control. Dante beats that version of Argosax making him universal+ as well. NOT multiversal. Think cosmic armor superman or the living tribunal which can manipulate every universe at once as multiversal.

Multiversal and here is why 1. Mundus summoned meteorites from space and thunder and created a dimension implying he could manipulate space on a whim yet dante beat abigail a demon who could rival demon kings and a demon who even matched mundus called argosax with such ease. 2.when dante goes sin dt there is this move called demolition which he literally creates a black hole with one hand implying he could manipulate space if he wanted to. 3.He clashed with vergil dimensional cutting yamato on many occasions in dmc 3 the swords description literally says it can cut even space time open. Therefore dante is well above planetary and multiversal level before he even achieved sin dt

He’s too damn OP that he could defeat Mundus, Argosax, Vergil, Abigail, The Savior as well as Urizen.

Dante doesn't have access to most of his weapons, actually. It's canon that after the games, Dante has such a poor work ethic, with him only doing jobs that interest him or are forced upon him, he has to sell off most of his Devil Arms just so he can pay rent. DMC5 started with him having been out of work so long that the water and power were even cut off. He took the job that got him in with V so he could flush the toilet.

Dante surpasses military, at least human military.

In DMC, the power scaling imo sorta goes like this.. Lesser demons lower tier: Ones such as the Marionettes, 1st Hell's pride, Empusas and their respective other versions. These are bottom of the barrel, trash. Lesser demons mid tier: Demons such as Blades, Plasma, Frosts and Shadows. Lesser demons top tier: Ones like Behemoths, Proto Angelos, Empusa Queens and Nobodies etc, the strongest of the lesser demons. Greater Demons: Ones that are essentially bosses, such as Phantom, Griffon, Nightmare, Balrog etc. Artificial demons: Such as Trish, those from the Order of the Sword, Lucia and the Savior all of which clearly show superior power than lesser or greater demons. I would also put Arius on this level because he was a human displaying demonic and magical powers, he was also clearly at the level or beyond demons like Lucia for a time. Hybrid-Demons: Here we have DMC3 and 1 era Dante and Vergil, and later Nero. these guys are the most powerful type of demon because they have human hearts and souls. Even Sparda despite being a demon acquired a heart and consequence and became stronger for it. Vergil even displays the feat of oneshotting a greater demon such as Beowulf. Arius Argosax could also qualify for this level. Demon King level: Demon king level is the highest level in all DMC and repeatedly considered godlike in terms of power. Mundus, Argosax's true form, Urizen and qliphoth fruit are on this level. Dante and Vergil with their sin forms surpass this level by unknown levels. A note is the goddess of time and space, its power is fueled by the blood of lesser demons. Weither or not it is on the level of a demon king is unknown.

Great review man, love your work. Just wanted to comment on what you said about Dante "possibly" having soul manipulation powers. I want to remind you that alot of the devil arms he uses are the souls of his beaten enemies. Some of them he subdued himself, some willingly, but that still confirms it's an actual ability he (and Vergil) have.

So in other words, don't even consider Death Battles to be reliable information, just pick a good fight, watch it and enjoy.

4:21 that’s only part of the power of the Yamato, it’s real power is the power of separation, it can literally separate anything that is not immune to its effects (very few can resist it). Time, space and even concepts are not immune to its power. Example: I took the Yamato and sliced you with it with the intent of separating you with your ability to speak, I don’t separate from your vocal cords to stop you speaking (though it is within its power), I don’t seperate you from the part of your brain that allows you to speak and effectively lobotomise you (though it is with its power)…I simply take the concept of speaking and seperate it from you therefore never allowing you to speak again. Dante's sword: The Rebellion, has the power of fusion, to add something to another thing, example seen in DMC 5 where he uses the rebellion to fuse himself to his fathers sword and effectively absorb it in order to make its power his own

A note I have to make for around 1:50 ; Dante doesn't *use* his Devil Trigger there, he visibly resists using it. It turns on (or 'triggers', heh) because he's getting his ass kicked so bad on that moment. But instead of counterattacking he lets the beating continue. This along with other stuff is referenced in a line in DMC5: he knew something was up with Nero as soon as they met.

Dante is actually somewhere around or above 9D. In the DMC books they’ve said that souls themselves are 9D and Dante has both squared up with and manipulated souls when he overpowers demons and turns them to devil arms. That and Chen with Beastheads power was said to transcend Time and Space so he’s no 3D level guy. Lastly there’s Nightmare; a creature Mundus made and feared when he learned he made it too powerful. Nightmare has been stated to have the power to both lift all of Hell which is a whole universe on it’s own with it’s own dimensions, or destroy it entirely. Even then Nightmare has so much power it’s literal living pocket dimension if you played DMC1

Ah yes good old PoC. Tho the The Eight Fold Path and Nivera are considered a infinite subsection area in the Demon Realm with the statement also implying higher structures not including Cannibal statement on transcendence of everything which , if you believe thar he didn't include VM , would mean he would still transcendence Pluto and Mundus in their entirety who both on their own have outerversal arguments or at least 11D arguments if you consider the Human Realm vs the Demon Realm. kzread.infoIEAXGEUj6Mw?feature=share This isn't getting into a further buff that sealed the deal on the Jungain Archetype and Platonic Concept for both VM and Argosax to be high outerversal instead of the outerversal scale, KingTiger's discord where the original outer and buffed scale is in as well.

This was a neat video, but would you consider the other two Sparda descendants? The Eldest Son and Grandson, Vergil and Nero. If you can't or don't wanna it's understandable, but still this video was pretty great considering most other videos tend to blend everything together rather than following the canon.

I'm not sure if this is true but i like this theory a lot. Basically the reason Dante never bring back his old weapons is because he sold them, In Balrog case i heard he killed a powerful demon recently before DMC 5 story. It makes sense that Dante had to sell them because he's always in debt as shown in beginning of DMC 5.

The yamato cannot consistently cut through everything when it matches blows with rebellion or when virgil was weakened it was blocked by lady and her rocket launcher and if I'm not mistaken it even states that it is dependent on its user's strength while cutting through dimensions is its innate ability

The reason why Yamato couldn't cut through Rebellion is because Rebellion is a physical manifestation of Dante's demonic powers. As long as Dante is alive, the sword will NEVER break.....(until Urizen happened). The reason why Yamato didn't cut through Kalina Ann was because Vergil didn't want to kill Lady so he held off from Yamato cutting into her. Even if Yamato really couldn't cut through Kalina Ann, Lady would still get knocked back and slammed all the way across the room they were fighting in or her arms would freakin shatter from the force behind Vergil's strength. Think about it, DMC3 Vergil scales up to DMC3 Dante right? And at the beginning of DMC3, we've seen Dante push a hell sin so hard that it killed him when he collided on the opposite wall and Dante BARELY put any effort into that shove. And after Dante got impaled by the hell sins, he was able to walk with one of them still latching on to him. And in general, demons are supposed to be superior to humans in physical strength. So those hell sins should at least be 1 ton lifters. So that means Dante had one ton dragging him and he was still able to walk no problem. And in their first fight, when Dante and Vergil clashed and were trying to overpower the other, at the point where their swords met, they were turning red from heat from the sheer force that Dante and Vergil were putting in. Do you have any idea how strong you have to be to create heat just from pushing two objects together with all your might? And you also have to take into account that Vergil was clearly superior to Dante in their first fight since Vergil has already unlocked his demonic power while Dante didn't. So during their clash, Vergil wasn't using all of his strength when their swords started to create a minor combustion. Lady is DEFINATELY not holding up to that level of strength. She would've have gotten crippled if Vergil put all of his effort into that strike. Now you could make the argument that if Vergil didn't want to kill Lady, why didn't he cut through Kalina Ann and stop there before the blade cuts into Lady herself? Well seeing as how it was a rocket launcher was being used, if Vergil decided to cut through it, it would most likely explode and he would've been wounded even more in his tired state so he stopped himself before the possibility of taking collateral damage to himself.

@@excaliber596 Well here is the thing about Base Stat total. They don't matter because Pokemon like Mega Mewtwo has a higher base stat than Arceus. But here is the thing Mewtwo is around Low Multiversal because Mewtwo is stronger than the entirety of the Silph Company who creates Pokeballs which are universes enmass. But Arceus can be scaled to Multiversal to Outerversal because(To make this as short as possible) it is stated that every Pokemon game is its own universe which means the 200 million plus copies that were sold are universes that Arceus created for more evidence the Mirrors in the Reflection cave are portals to another universe in the anime. Now for the Outerversal scale after Arceus was created there was no emotion, willpower, knowledge, time and space. So Arceus created the creation trio and whatever Mesprit, Azelf, and Uxie are called which created those concepts respectively. Sorry this is long BUT THIS IS THE SHORT VERSION take a minute to let it sink in.

While I agree that Mega Mewtwo can be multiversal, I believe it can be because his BST is higher than Arceus's, not necessarily Silph Co. I haven't heard that Pokeballs create their own universes, so I'd like to hear where you got that. What I've heard is that Pokeballs create comfortable virtual environments that discourage the Pokemon from leaving. I mean, destroying a Pokeball doesn't make you universal, does it? Considering the game's mechanics, the fact that a Mega Mewtwo can defeat an Arceus without help should place him at universal-multiversal levels without the Silph Co idea. 2. I don't think Arceus can be scaled to Outerversal. Multiversal I can agree with, though its a liiiiitle bit of a highball (not much of one tho). The main reason I think this is that while each Pokemon game is it's own universe and I agree with that, there should also be an Arceus in each universe that creates it, right?. Otherwise, how could there be more than 1 person with an Arceus irl? Or how can their be an Arceus in the games, the anime, AND the spinoffs? This would also mean that each Arceus created their own universes concept of time, space, etc and not necessarily the multiversal concept. You could go by the Arceus movie (which is considered canon, just isn't referenced again) where Arceus creates 5 universes. 1 for himself, 1 for us, 1 for Dialga, 1 for Palkia, and the Distortion World for Giratina, but that's about as high as I think you can go.

Conventional durability does not matter, because the matter is secondary in relation to space and time. Dbz144 1. I would probably say SS Link should be lightning level, just based on consistency. 2. I would say Sonic, mainly because he’s so much faster than Link being FTL himself. His AP should also be comparable from his fight with Infinite. So he’d probably blitz

Okay so with Dmc5 out, I got to thinking and been wondering . After Mundus does Sparda ever reach his peak level of power? Because after mundus he seals the bulk of his power away into force edge aka Sparda to help keep the demon realm separate. With Dmc5 we are told the swords yamato and rebellion are formed from sparda's power ... so it's a three way power split and the further division from him putting more of his power into sealing the underworld . So Dante and Vergil has surpassed Sparda but if Sparda was completely whole would they be Stronger still? Because we now know Sparda had some debuffs besides the first one we knew of which was sealing the underworld.

I'd say this video was legit, btw Mundus's Universal Level Power was stated to only be bound by the Demon world. He can't use that amount of force in the Human world because his power doesn't have any type of connection with it this was stated in the manga. The same goes for Argosax too, The Demon world was also stated to be infinite size and we clearly see that it has different fundamentals than our world. There was even one point Kamiya himself at one point also said he didn't know if Mundus could destroy the entire human world showing how Dante's power in the human and demon world are different. I hope you catch my drift and not trying to say Dante's Universal both in the human and demon world, in fact I think that Mundus's pocket dimension only showing Planets and Stars would only put him at Multi Solar System Level or borderline Galaxy. Edit: Also I'm think Dante by now is way above Lightning Level. Beowulf, Nefastarrius, Artemis, The Savior, Nightmare B, One of Pandora weapons and even certain common enemies have Light based attacks. There's no doubt the Sparda Devil Trigger>All those bosses/enemies and weapons in all categories and I'm pretty sure Mundus is much more than 2x faster than all the bosses, common weapons/enemies. Even if you want to downplay their Light based attacks Sparda Devil Trigger Dante should be Relativistic to practically borderline Light Speed just to let you know I'm talking about combat and reaction speed not Travel Speed there are different Levels of Speeds such as how Nefastirrius has Light based attacks but his travel speed isn't Light Speed.

I don't think so because in the manga its was stated that the reality born with just darkness (which means the demon world of course) and then somehow the humans has appeared but like in different dimension you could say because it's was stated that mundus was going to merge both the human world and the demon world to create endless world of darkness and about the pocket dimension that’s not true because I seen in DMC series or guides saying it's a pocket dimension in fact it's was stated by the director himself that its entire whole new universe created by mundus and in the DMC2 novel it's was stated that mundus had created the beastheads which can reshape reality itself

I think you're underestimating his travel speed, him and Mundus flew through space past a shit ton of stars fairly quickly. Easily MFTL speeds. Dante has gotten much faster/more powerful since then in his base form, so yeah.

Dante is in fact Universal according to the novels When Mundus was defeated the Demon world started to collapse and the Demon world is universal in size,Argosax was merging both the Human and Demon world with just his presence. As for speed Dante was defeating light speed demons back in Dmc3 not just Beowulf but other Demons like the Damned Rook who use actual lasers to attack,and those Demons were nothing to Dante back them when he was at his weakest.

Dante is blatantly way beyond FTL, Trish herself is basically lightning and Dante is leagues above her. Dante even fought a Light Demon (Beowulf), Vergil who can cut through space-time and travel between it, Dante trashed Nevan who was also Lightning etc. Not to mention DMC1.

11:53 actually, it doesn't bypass durability. (since not only can Dante's sword Rebellion stop it, but also Lady's HUMAN-MADE rocket launcher!)

I know this video was made a couple years ago but what about the holy water that he has on him it tends to kill the demons around him but it doesn’t seem to have any effect on him also the two guns Ebony and Ivory are actually kind of based off of Alucard weapons like the Castle for accuracy and speed and the jackal for power but I don’t know if the manga came up before the game or the game came out good for the manga

Hey excaliber, on your sonic vs mario video you made, there is one huge feat you missed for sonic that I'd like to point out. In Sonic and the Black knight, sonic needed to get back to his own universe. You know what he did to do this? He ran across the universe until he got back to his own making him massively ftl. This comment probably isn't relevant to you but your mario v sonic video just started to get recommended to everyone and I just thought that you should know this.

Something I half to say is that I agree with where you put his base form but I don't agree with how strong you made his sin devil trigger, first of all the Sparada devil trigger definitely gives a bigger boost than 4x Sparada the sword either adds the power level of Sparda to Dante's or multiplies the power level of Sparada by Dante and considering that Sparda was definitely on the same level as Mundus so lets just assume the multiplier or addition is around 60 (using similar standard to dargon ball), meaning at the lowest Dante is still multiplanetary. It's also think it's worth mention is that in dmc2 Dante had a form called majin devil trigger which I like to think is a 4x multiplier, I like to think that his sin devil trigger is a combination of Magin and Sparada devil trigger so 4 x 60 is a 240x multiplier making SDT Dante around, making Dante at lowest multiplanetary to possible star level (ok not sure about that). Also I'd like to mention that the Yamato cannot cut through everything. It can open portals(so strong that it can bring memories and dreams to life from someone mind), close portals and separate aspects of a living thing from each other but it has to be able to cut or stab something first. It has been blocked by multiple weapons and even a non demonic rocket launcher.

I'm just saying it's said that Dante sells all his weapons after his adventures except for the weapons he starts off with. So he doesn't have any weapons that weren't shown in 5.

If you wanna guess how powerful DT is compared to base power Dante, I’d suggest just comparing the running speed from DMC 3, at least that’s how I estimated it Yeah, DT made Dante 2x faster than he normally was so the 2x power makes sense, idk, I just do things very simply to make things easier on myself

This is something people don't seem to realize, We *NEVER* saw Sparda's true power, he separated his power in 3 Swords Rebellion, Devil Sword Sparda, and Yamato. than he took DS Sparda and separated it's power in to the Perfect amulet creating the Force Edge in the process, in DMC1 Dante fuses the Perfect amulet with the Force Edge bringing back the DS Sparda, and than in DMC5 Dante fuses the Rebellion with the DS Sparda making the DS Dante, in other words fusing the Yamato with the DS Dante will bring back *Sparda's true sword* and Mundus was only defeated in DMC1 because he wasn't at full power, you can tell that by the huge hole on his chest possibly made by Sparda's true sword.

Dante is as strong as the plot needs him to be. Same as Nero or Vergil. You'll see them throwing motorcycles, chopping gigantic slabs of stone like its nothing. Then you'll see them struggle to carry someone out of danger or on a ledge to pull them up.

Dante is godly powerful, he beats all foes with STYLE.

I liked the video but respectfully there are quite a few issues with your scaling: 1) Mundus' Universal Outlier This is not an outlier whatsoever. It's a reoccurring plot point that constantly reiterates the level of power actually at play. Allow me to explain- Mundus initially did not have was the power necessary to overthrow the king of hell. This Prior King of Hell separated the world of humans and the world of demons. Mind you that in Japanese "world" and "universe" are often expressed by the same character which often causes this translation issue where you have to use context to understand what it actually means. In this case, it absolutely means Universe as constantly reiterated, which I will demonstrate. Mundus acquires the Qliphoth fruit grown in Hell's limited blood supply due to being severed from the Human realm. With it, he gains enough power to beat the guy who separated the 2 universes. Mundus rejoins both realms and later starts a war with Argosax. Mundus' greatest general, Sparda, falls in love with Eva and decides to save her realm so he goes to beat Mundus and separate the 2 realms once again. He trains under the God of Space and Time (being that the statues Dante gives blood to are depicting). This makes him powerful enough to seal Mundus. Now to the feats of Mundus: - overthrows prior king who used his power to separate 2 realms - rejoins 2 realms - Corruption feats - beast heads - his power was too much for the humanverse which is why he had to use vessels and avatars on Mallet Island, and why his true power could only be used once he created his own universe - *WE ARE COMING BACK TO THIS AT THE VERY END* - Dante in DMC1 is suggested to already have surpassed Sparda, but still has to use the DSS to beat Mundus, where he is thoroughly winning. As for the definite universe that Mundus created it was described as being infinitely expanding: “As Mundus flapped his wings, the temple ceased to exist in an instant and the world was enveloped in a sea of stars. In the vastness of the universe, only two people faced each other.” "Unleashing the magic power from the profound field of his mind and body, Dante transformed his body into a demon. He kicked the ground and took off into the infinitely expanding dark sky. In his deep diamond eyes, he saw only the dark gray figure of the Demon Emperor. In a realm beyond human comprehension, a legendary battle has now begun." or "Unleashing his magic from the deepest places of his mind and body. Dante transformed his body into a demon. He kicked the earth and took off into the dark sky that stretched endlessly. In that crimson evasion. The only reflection of the demon emperor's dark gray figure in his crimson aperture. In the mirror realm beyond human knowledge, the legendary battle has now begun." And Kamiya did not confirm it just once, but TWICE (this time in japanese) "The former... RT @Xephfyre Kamiya-san, I have a question about DMC: In the final boss battle of DMC1, is the dimension Mundus was created in the same size as the entire universe of this world?　Is it the same size as the entire universe, or is it a smaller dimension contained within the castle?" i.imgur.com/0fjZsaz.jpeg Also; keep in mind uncharged Volcano, the weakest attack Beowulf has, was stated to hit with the force of a small supernova. And Beowulf attacks with Light yet Dante was able to easily keep up in DMC3. Plus with the battle with Mundus, where they flew by stars at a ludicrous rate, Dante was easily moving MFTL. Later he blitz's beings that surpass space and time which gives him immeasurable speed, and likely irrelevant speed due to his dimensional tier. So, DMC anime time and Dante beats Abigail who is supposedly equal. The issue with the assertion you made is we have no idea what that sigil was doing. I mean Abigail said she wanted to take over both worlds (again, also could mean universes and likely does) not destroy them. With that, we also have no idea that sigil takes or exudes. It isn't reasonable to assume levels based on complete guesswork. Also, you mentioned Abigail's name. Basically, it is Hebrew (Avigail) and means "my father's joy", "my father is joy" or "my father is exultation". It is thought that it might be a compound misromanization of the name 'Abigor', a demon mentioned in the Ars Goetia. What we do know is that in the DMC2 novel a stronger alternate version of Mundus was easily beaten by Dante with his power holding together the void they fought in, a void that was the source for all energy in the demon world. Dante described the fight later as "easy" which showed as he completely overwhelmed mirrorverse/void Mundus. Argosax was more powerful and was going to rule everything, and in the despair embodied form would be far stronger. Dante effectively one-shot this being Mind you that the hell Qliphoth had almost no blood to use and still put Mundus at this level. The tree itself to give him this level of power or boost what was already there must have been at LEAST 5D as universal creation in fiction is 5th dimensional which is consistent as the beastheads were made by Mundus and each surpassed all of space and time, technically that suggests Mundus would be minimum 6D but he is actually above that! See Hell to grow this tree must be at minimum %D physically. and as it mirrors the structure of the humanverse (as they were originally 1) that means that it has a relationship with the 7th dimension as the humanverse does the 4th (we cannot perceive it fully nor can we manipulate it, but it allows for our existence to be perpetual with how mass and time relate to each other). Meaning Mundus, via complex unification feats is at minimum 7th Deimnsional in power. Then Full Vergil comes back fully healed and fresh and tells Dante to heal and get strong. Instead, Dante fights King Cerberus and the 3 familiars V was using to beat other bosses (except now they are unrestricted and nightmare is full-time), before stalemating a fresh Vergil. He is ludicrous at this point and it isn't even funny. I could go on but I think you get my point.

People have been commented a lot of the things you missed but I'm here just to remind you and everyone that gameplay and story/lore/narrative is NOT ALWAYS connected. Just a simple example would be when video games characters die in game, they don't die in the story. Also, about Dante being unable to be in Devil Trigger all the time is false. Maybe in DMC3 yes since that is when Dante first acquired DT but in the later games, he is able to use DT endlessly in terms of lore, especially in DMC5. People also brought up the "Well, in DMC1 Dante can only use DT with Alastor and Ifrit, how can you explain that ?". Well first of all, it's the very first game in the DMC series and the Devs probably still not sure how DT works in lore. Second, as the previous reason I mentioned, it's just for gameplay purposes.
