IN DMC4 Royal Guard, he has that impenetrable armor. And in DMC5 ROYAL GUARD HE HAS A MOVE THAT REFLECTS ALL DAMAGE BACK ONTOO HIS OPPONENT THAT THEY INFLICT ON HIM INSTANTLY. EVEN IF LINK IS INTANGIBLE HE WOULD GET HIT BY HIS OWN ATTACKS EVERYTIME DANTE HITS HIM. IT BE LIKE IF YOU GAVE ME A CUT ON MY ARM BUT INSTEAD THE CUT APPEARS ON YOU. And I be perfectly fine. ITS RIDICULOUS. He also fought Vergil (his equal at the time) for two weeks straight, (14 days). So even if Link does revive and does the whole song and dance for 6 days each (12 days). Dante would just kill him after the fact.

Dante faught Virgil in hell for months and spent at most a year in hell... I doubt six days of pure invincibility will do anything to dante. Plus Dante is human, and is in fact a good guy so I don't think his hax will work. And even if it does, the beast heads allow him to see everything link will ever do, and he can react to it before he consciously registers he moved. In short, even if his hax worked Link can't hit him. Dante stomps HARD!

Speaking as someone that has played all 6 of the Devil May Cry (DMC) included, I don’t really know how anybody would be able to deal with him. Just being able to survive a stab from the Yamato shouldn’t be possible.

Hey Excalibur, I know this late but I recently discovered that Majora wasn’t an Outlier Feat. According to *Hyrule Historia on page 77.* It is stated that Rauru possesses power that’s stronger than Time and Master Sword just to close the entrance to the Sacred Realm. When Ganondorf gained the Triforce of Power, he dwarfed Rauru in power. Meaning that every time Link’s incarnations fought against Ganondorf/Ganon while possessing the Triforce of Power or more than that, Link was fighting against Higher Dimensional Beings on a consistent basis. So Majora isn’t an outlier, which means that Link’s beyond universal on a more often than we thought. Even Skyward Sword Link counts since he defeated Demise after he gained a boast in power after absorbing Zelda/Hylia’s soul (who could exist at the edge of time, rip out a landmass and created the cloud barrier with her dying breath, and create a spirit reality called the Silent Realms/Realm that parallels Hyrule.) So perhaps we should cut Link some more slack in powerscaling.💁 I’m not saying that Link should win, I’m just saying he’s above universal scaling on a more consistent basis and Majora is not an outlier. In fact Ganondorf/Ganon, outclasses Majora since the Triforce is most absolute power in the entire verse of the series, thus making Majora pale in comparison in terms of power.

I always assumed Link to be at least Universal because of Majora's reality warping feats. But, even if he was he still gets bodied by Dante though the battle itself was still pretty interesting.

Even tho it was really a good vid their is few things that you missed here as yes dante can resist holy powers as Lowell amulet didn't work on him when he was touching it as according to them that it works around demonic presence and vaporize them but dante once touch it and another time when patty was going to wake dante up and demons around them were affected but still dante didn't and also their is few haxs that you have missed here as like when he had the beastheads at that time(you gave him yamato which is no longer in his possession so why not also do for the beastheads) as he can see the future and past and know everything he will do and everything he can do and he have the ability to move without ordering his body to do(basically ultra instinct) so their is no way for link to land a hit on dante in equalized stats and with also with beastheads he can erase link from existence itself making it worse in unequalized stats and the furies speed is actually immeasurable since moving through time is one of immeasurable speed feats descriptions so yea and he also have the ability to erase names from existence itself which means he is removing the idea of their existence which is conceptaul manipulation type3 which link have no resistance to(and no it's not a kill ability it will only will make link ideology purpose of existence meaningless) and he can pretty much hit and destroy link soul and dante have resistance to reality warping powers so the triforce won't work on him and yes he can keep fighting for a long time as he was fighting his brother vergil in hell for almost two months so yes dante wins hands down but it was really good vid and I really like it

Let's assume links hax works on Dante, the light arrows need to hit him for it do deal damage, fairly certain Dante is skilled enough to deflect the arrows, and can parry, and deflect every bit of links attacks with the golden sword, because he was able to make a field of dry area in a rainstorm with just sword strikes when he fought Vergil in dmc 3. As for the magic cloak, Yamato cuts dimensions, I would just assume the Yamato can just bypass the magic cloak's invunernability. So even if Link's hax could work on Dante, I still think Dante still stomps due to his skills in a fight.

I feel like the issue with powerscaling and using solely numbers and feats to determine who wins poses issues once Dante decides to give his opponent the Donguri999 treatment

I understand a lot of this but the ending with the invis and the flurry attacks, we forgot Dante survived hell for I think 5 years and even if it’s less that’s a long time in hell.

Another massively faster than light speed feet for Dante is he speed blitzed the Despair Embodied. Dante was moving so fast that the Despair Embodied couldn't even process him. And Dante was in his base form when he did this. Before we get into that, lets look at the speed calculation for Sparda Devil Trigger Dante and Mundus fight. The low end calculation was 817 times faster than light so keep that in mind. Since the Despair Embodied is more powerful than Mundus, it stands reason to say that he should be capable of similar speeds, yet at this point in the series, Dante became so fast that not even beings who can perceive things going 817 times faster than light can see him. In order for Dante to do that, in order for the average regular human to get speed blitz to the point where he can't even flinch before getting hit, the object would have to be moving at a variable between 30 to 69 times faster than he can see fast enough to flinch before hitting him. Lets say 50 times as an average for this argument. Since this is a demonic god we are talking about, the average should be far higher than 30 to 69 times faster than 817 times faster than light but we'll just keep it simple and use the human logic here and multiple 817 X 50 So Dante in his base form in DMC2 was moving at a speed of 40,850 times faster than light when he speed blitzed the Despair Embodied. Again this calculation was from low balling the Sparda Devil Trigger Dante and Mundus speed AND the average speed blitz.

By sharp things, you mean Rebellion? Which was one of the most powerful demon swords to have existed? DMC3 Dante doesn't really apply since he was only 19 and hadn't even awakened his DT when he was stabbed by those demons and when Lady shot him.

Maybe im a little late, but the weapons like the golden sword and the tiny holy arrows from link wouldn't function, cuz dante is fucking immune to divine damage, due to Holy water blast in the games and so, also, considering the power of the blood fruit and the statue of the dogs from mundus from Dmc2 novel would make it at even leven or beyond the triforce, judging him like immune(?) to reality alterations power and the defense, well, dante can recover from yamato blows, a literal TIME AND SPACE CUTTER like its just some dust in his shoulder so idk(?) it would be just as fighting some lesser mid demon(Also, for the cloak in the three special items listed for link, the yamato can phase literal SPACE AND TIME, so it's just a fancy looking hood)

You know, it's been a long time, but I said you might want to know, and that's that... after dying at Dante's hand, he's never going to come back, because one of Dante's powers is to destroy creatures that have the ability to come back to life... and if something is at Dante's hand If he dies, he cannot come back with any item or power

Nero is actually stronger in his devil trigger than Dante and Vergil in their respective sin devil states respectively. Yeah, when Nero interfered with their fight, he was at 100% and both Dante and Vergil were tired, but not to the point where they couldn't fight anymore. In fact, when he did interfere, they where charging at each other while they were both in their sin devil trigger forms. They didn't actually even realize that he was the one that caught them or that they were even held in place for a good 5 to 7 seconds. Also this is fresh after Nero awakened his devil trigger form. Keep in mind Vergil was also able to transform in the fight with both Dante and Nero. As for Dante's normal devil trigger, he can't get past Urizen's telekinesis. However, Nero in base, gets past the invisble wall as if it isn't there in the first place and wounds Urizen successfully, all be it like a papercut on his palm. Yes, Sin Devil Trigger Dante is stronger than Base Nero. But When Nero uses his Devil Trigger, he's stronger then both Dante and Vergil. Even if you want to say they were at 50%, that still means that he can handle either/or separately whether the twins are in base or not.

Also the rose he throws while using ecstasy, as he can create an infinite number of them. Also summon swords and mirage edge, tho that's kinda different since it's vergils soul

I dunno, the hylian shield is pretty op, the fierce deity mask defeated an ancient evil that has a power of a god in Majora's Mask and the four sword opens a gap to Link being able to attack with different weapons in his arsenal if he want, just imagine what the OG Link with both The Four Sword+Master Sword+Fierce Deity, clones himself, each clone has their own weapon and mask, also, if you don't forgot, The Master Sword is a holy weapon, we never see anything truly holy in DMC, so it's safe to say that holy weapons can do a great damage on Dante.

this may be 2 years late but if Dante can use Holy Water (that should have the same effects like Links' Holy weapons) then they shouldn't affect him and even if the arrows can hurt him wouldn't he just use Royal Guard to counter it (not sure if will reflects the damage since Link is not a demon himself well I think) so unless the cape allows him to be hit by others the real question if his own attacks work on him if it does then Dante's Royal Guard stomps him oh and of course Yamato (if you ever count that as a weapon for his arsenal) then all of links defensive capabilities won't matter cuz it CUTS THROUGH DIMENSIONS idc about how the cape works it can cut through dimension

Holy water is weird since it hurts boss dante in dmc4 but not player dante so we usually don't count it also it hits lady in dmc3

I disagree on the part that dante can't survive against link in devil trigger for 6 days Dante doesn't have infinite stamina but his demonic hertage and regeneration give him a clear advantage Also you do the death battle trope where you took every version of link and stacked him up he's not conically one char just an incarnation that varies in a time line or certin point in time so it would make no sense in staking his abbilities No Dante beating an intagibile demon is a feat doesn't matter if he himself is a demon or not that's still a note worthy feat As for light arrows working and things working on Dante well we'll have to assume it doesn't work on him these are two different continuities and Dante has never been shown to be weaker or stronger against holy weapons This is a good video very entertaining

Stamina is a joke for Dante he fought Vergil for 39 days straight and fought later in hell for a full year (minimum)

I dont think Link is even close to been a match for Dante. Maybe someone like Goku or Kratos could be a threat. Dante literally isn't thereaten by anything in all his games and comics except for Vergil who is basically his equal.

@@Sleeze_ well then i think is pretty clear Dante is overpower af, the guy can stop time and move at light speed also he can regenerate pretty much any wound that's is dealt to him in seconds, it also has a perfect parry to everything and in the first game he kick the ass of a being capable of creating a small universe he can also duplicate himself and devil trigger enhances all that by 2 on the very least. I just assumed ignorance so how Kratos beat that? We have seen Kratos dying from a stab, Dante doesn't even take any of his fight seriously is well known in dmc community that he is the one ranking the player after every mission he doesn't rank weather he won or not he is ranking how smoothly and stylish is he winning he is just op i think when you understand that Kratos is just another dude in his path there's a versus video animated explaining all this if you are interested and that's my point so what is yours? I am open to debate if you hsve the arguments.

@@Sleeze_ Okey lets make something clear Kratos wouldn't even be able to touch Dante firstly because Kratos doesn't move at light speed he doesn't display that power nor in the gameplay nor in the lore, yes Kratos is strong af he killed Atlas the guy who holds earth not the universe, two very different things and Dante killed a being able to create a universe, Zeus and the Pantheon of Greek Gods rule Earth not the universe as stated pretty different scales and yes the gods can be killed Kratos did it and someome could kill him so Godlyness isnt an argument in this discussion, you also didn't mention Dantes Royal Guard, even if Kratos had the speed, even if he got the power, he can't passed that is literally the perfect defense, if you ask me Dante is a hell of a lot stronger that the whole pantheon and i think he is more than capable to do the same feets kratos did except that Dante doesnt give a shit if someone stab him or hurt him, he is never shown struggling in a fight except for Vergil and as stated he is his equal, and the Nero stament no he didn't get wiped by Nero in DMC4 and in DMC5 Nero got a huge power up and still it was only because he was tired af after fighting Vergil for hours. Feets that show Dante speed : he swing his sword so fast that he cut rain drops in a whole space (notice this the weakest Dante has been seen being super young and without any of his demonic powers awakened) maybe Kratos could take that Dante but Dante with all his arsenal of demonic weapons and all his different Devil Triggers is beyond Godly, and this is shown in the gameplay, that's why i asked if you had play the games, Kratos struggles with stabbing a minotaur in the gameplay, offcourse that doesn't diminish his lore strength but that's just one thing, Kratos Wrath of the Gods is nothing compared to Dantes devil triggers, which grant him not only speed and power but ultra regeneration and for as long as he wants ( gameplay shows this as well when you unlock the super costume) and i could go on and on, Dante is nearly invencible and Kratos is not. I love GoW games dont get me wrong but is just lore and dats that's all, Dante is beyond broken more broke than Kratos i am afraid, but if you wanna talk about a being capable of taking both at the same time Kirby is the guy hahaha.

@@Sleeze_ i dont need to there are tons of videos in KZread stating why Dante eats Kratos for breakfast, the same way Superman does with Goku but is as simple as one series or one character has more fans than the other and that's it. Goku is far more popular than Superman therefore fans want him to win but Superman powers are just way too op, the same happens to Dante and Kratos, GoW is by fsr more popular than DMC therefore you or any other fan boy wants his baldy to win and that's okay you are free to belive whatever you want but the truth is only one and that's that Dante wipe the floor with our favorite baldy white guy. I could list thousands of facts you still wouldn't change your mind. The Greek gods didn't create the universe, Titans did that and yes Gods defeated them so technically they are on universal level but so is Mundus, Kratos can control time so can Dante, Kratos can hold Atlas strength so can Dante, Kratos is fast, Dante is faster, Kratos is powerful, Dante is more powerful. I love both characters but facts are facts, you refer too much Helios power and so on, dude his head can't even kill a minotaur, you really think that shit would do something against Dante dude we havent seen the guy sweat in any of his games the guy is just insane, we have seen Kratos tired after fighting Baldur a fight against Dante would go probably the same way both even in powers until someone gets tired and that someone is Kratos i am afraid. To be fair, Dante could use BFR removal with the Yamato as well. Even IF, Link’s three hax items worked he could also just use the Yamato and wait it out in another dimension.

This is my personal opinion, but I don't see why the master sword won't work on Dante, since it doesn't matter if he's a good person, in this battle, he is trying to kill Link and adding his demonic heritage, should be enough to trigger the master sword and light arrows abilities to repel evil. Also, the most important thing I wanted to say and wasn't mentioned in this video: First, the hylian shield is said to be unbreakable and the reflect magic from Adventure of Link strengthens his shield, allowing him to block formely unblockable attacks. Secondly, in the remake of Majora's Mask, the chateau romani's effect will last until Link travel back in time. Finally, there are other items that can help Link win this battle. The stone mask will makes Link unnoticeable. If you combine the stone mask with the stealth set and the invisible cape, Link would be totally undetectable.

dante is not phased by holy power, because in his own series, he has not even reacted to holy weaponry such as Holy water and Lowells amulet which disintegrated demons in their immediate vicinity and decimated chunks of health from bosses.

Mundus was strong enough to create an item that can see the past, present and future and rewrite reality called the beast head. Argosax was strong in just Aura that his mere presence alone was merging two Infinite realms.

@@kimetsunoacademia3528 Alan's Tear is a magical stone created to SEAL a demon, not to REPEAL evil. Dante is not affected by it because the amulet doesn't react to half-human hybrids. The Master Sword was crafted NOT to SEAL, but to REPEAL evil. Not even Ganon can touch it and not just any "good guy" can hold it. Much different from Alan's Tear, which only react to demons, someone has to be a pure of heart to be able to hold the Master Sword. So no, you can't heavily underestimate the Master Sword or Light Arrows and compare them to Holy Water or Alan's Tear.

biswajit prusty lemme try Sephiroth spells and what does it do *heartless angel: brings opponents on the brink of death *pale horse: turns opponents into frogs *supernova: teleports user into another dimension to where a supernova is taking place *meteor: basically he yeets a rock from outer space right at you He’s now capable of messing with time also has spells that are basically status effects (petrify is an example) elemental spells and apparently he’s psychic which explains why he seems to be flying

Let’s just be honest Dante in Devil May Cry 1 would stomp Link without Devil Trigger because he was able to fight Mundus in space which was Universal to Multiversal I think. I would suggest that Dante vs Ghost Rider would have been better than even with Kratos and Samurai Jack vs Link too

The zelda lore books have infinite and immeasurable feats and statements, but those books have been said to be nebulously canon by fans and haters. Link could be much more powerful in a high ball and would be much more interesting.

No because links cap wouldn’t work on daunte since dautne having higher defense and attack and more abilities could heal from his injuries and could eventually pin point link and kill him the golden sword at most destroy star level beings while Dante litterally has fought beings who created pocket dimensions and the king of hell. Link doesn’t stand a chance.

Demise and Majora's Mask both created entire dimensions (with Demise being strong enough to oppose the Goddesses and is the King of Demons, might as well be the Zelda King of Hell) and Link was still able to kill both of them by himself. My gut would still say Dante wins but, both characters have massive powerscaling problems. Dante gets knocked out for like a month by a hit that literally just threw him across a room and Link can't pick up a big rock unless he has the right gloves on, both both can kill God-Level threats by themselves. Neither of them have directly shown even mountain-moving feats of strength. While both of them can move so fast that the normal human eye cannot even perceive them Link still runs around Hyrule at a jog and Dante was somehow not fast enough to stop V from plunging his cane into Urizen even though V was moving at sub-human levels due to his injuries. Again, still think Dante would win. But honestly scaling up exactly how powerful either of them are is just "Uhhh... they beat these really strong guys?"

@@moonmelons what you referring here is a problem that most fictional verses face like dragon ball characters were they can destroy planets effortlessly yet in most of their battles they barely destroy country or Lucifer morningstar from dc who is one of strongest DC characters didn't even destroy planet in most of his fights didn't that's why it was separated to attack potency and destructive capacity as it is how much you can hit vs how much you can destroy as it even makes sense because as many characters want to effect the opponent rather than the area around them and because if the world got destroyed then their will be no plot and the story will be ruined

Personally I can see this fight going either way depending on rule sets or load outs, but I have to question you on stats numbers that you landed on. Offense- I can see this going to dante due to his weapon choices so I don't have much argument there. Not to mention that he's not on a level link cant deal with. Defense/durability- you gave dante the edge which I don't agree on. Has shown do be easily damaged by bladed weapons and other attack types, with blunt trauma being something that doesn't effect him much, and leans on his healing factor until he runs out of stamina. Link on the other hand shrugs off bladed attacks without them piercing his skin on durability alone, his hearts are actually canon in universe which grants him supernatural durability, he has tons of armor and potion combinations which can literally make him neg some elemental attacks, and since we're running them both in composite, that means link gets the fairy blessing which in canon cuts all physical damage in half, and this is before implementing his indestructible shield and invulnerability spells that you named here along with at least 6 days of infinite magic while dante only gets infinite demon energy after you beat the game. There's no way link doesn't take the edge in defense. Speed- how are they not equal in this state? They both are able to react to and move around the same types of attacks, with the only difference being your example of dante being able to move in a timeless void possibly making him have "limitless speed" if someone wants to wank him. Remember that link has also moved around an area where time was stopped, along with scaling to ganondorf who had neged time stopping and proved to be beyond time itself. This should put them at around the same level. Intelligence- I can accept this as being even, though I personally would give link the slight edge here due to the fact that he's shown both tactical analysis, and on the move quick thinking in his fights. Most of his bosses require both while it's rare that dante's enemies require much of the former, he can usually get away with simply steam rolling his way through does, or just hitting bosses until they stop moving rather than relying on any strategy. Hiw is this a stomp in any situation?

@@reggielacey2235 how so? In speed both have moved in areas without time, and link can react to the same type of attacks as dante, what makes dante so much faster than link? In strength a child version of link with no strength enhancing gear can casually stone wall and deflect attacks from building sized kaiju esc centipedes that can swim through earth as casual as water. This is before adding gear like the gold gauntlets, they are around the same level in lifting strength. I mentioned that dante has an edge in AP due to some of his stronger weapons, but he's not dishing out anything link hasn't dealt with before. What hax does dante have that link can't deal with? The only magic that I can think of that would be an issue would be quicksilver, but link isn't effected by time based power as seen in wind waker. Link has urbosa fury allowing him to cast lightning at will or in an AoE blast, miphas grace which Grants immortality every ten minutes, multiple invulnerability spells with at least 3 days of infinite magic if he chooses not to have more than one bottle of milk, and potions that triple stats for 30mins. His own natural durability already allows him to shrug off mortal damage, the heart container's are canon btw, and he has the fairy's blessing which cuts all damage in half. If we're talking war of attrition, there's NO way link loses this and dante would be the one to exhaust his options long before link does. Just to get a kill, dante would need an attack that can completely obliterate link in a single attack, which he does NOT.

@@reggielacey2235 multiversal? Infinite speed? Where are you getting this from? First of all, you DO know that immeasurable speed is above infinite on the tier list right? On that note, dante has never traveled anywhere instantly let alone an infinite distance to be considered having infinite speed. The best dante has shown is massive hypersonic to relativistic speeds with the possibility of immeasurable same as link. Where does multiversal come from? What universe has dante busted with a single attack?...in fact what building for that matter? Why do people keep coming up with these outlandish AP levels? Beating a universal threat doesn't mean it requires universal power to do so unless dead threat has tanked that level of damage before. Dante himself can be damaged and have his flesh pierced by bullets and blades which puts him WELL below universal durability. If he can be cut/pierced, then link can decapitate or dismember him which is all that's needed to kill dante.

By your logic with devil may cry kaguya from Naruto is multiversal and that molecule man is beyond outer versal because they have pocket universes and poket multiverses, But these characters simply arent that strong and from what I've seen neither is Dante.

Kaguya doesn't have pocket universes, she has alternate planet-sized dimensions. Mundus created an entire universe, Argosax was combining 2 universes, and Void Mundus was an infinite void, making him practically a universe that Dante fought. I will say I don't know anything about molecule man tho.
