Just Happened! Elon Musk LEAKED BIG Rival Tesla Optimus Bot Gen 2 - Atlas Gen 2 Boston Dynamic. Boston Dynamics officially unveiled Atlas Gen2 immediately after discontinuing Gen1. With no more hydraulic drive system, this new humanoid robot will overhaul both its design and operation to directly compete with Optimus Tesla. Following the failure of Gen1, Atlas Gen2 may be commercially at a shock price .

At least in terms of mobility. Honestly I wish Tesla/Elon talked more about the progress of the Optimus bot and did more comparisons between it and the competition. I mean right now Atlas 2 clearly beats everyone as far as mobility goes so how long before Optimus can match it?

@@rainbowsixODST in term of AI, Boston dynamics is partnering with Nvidia. They have opened an AI department to solve the issue of full adaptation.. And in my opinion they will quickly reach the level of AI that tesla have. They have been working for more than 10 years on humanoid robot. They learned from their previous atlas about the main issues of operating with this kind of robot in the real world. Tesla just started this enterprise. Boston dynamics will set the standard high on what an advanced humanoid robot should be and can do. I'm eager to see other videos of Atlas. I think they are much more advanced with the new Atlas than what people persive

Cost will be the deciding factor. Boston Dynamics have created an impressive machine no doubt inspired by Tesla's Optimus but they do not have the general AI Teaching data that Tesla have. They also lack a decent hand for dexterous manual handling operations so limits their use case for now.

Tesla is going to win because they are so far ahead in AI as well as computational capability to train future AI. They could make a robot. That's like a hunk of concrete with one swinging arm and their AI is going to be so good that robot could probably out compete all of these other companies most advanced humanoid robots. It's not going to be about the robot. We are about 5 minutes away from AI creating geometrically perfect miracles in the design of future robotics capabilities. The company that wins is the one that's ahead in AI and that is Tesla like by an entire dimension.

I do believe atlas robots will be superior in the humanoid functions for about a year and then I think Tesla definitely persevere over Atlas. I also believe Tesla is going to be better for workspace because of the AI that they have all the research and data that Tesla has put them much higher than atlas. At least that we know of I think in the long run Tesla bots will be the best for Home use and for factories I can see atlas robots, almost as robots in warfare and maybe some industrial aspects but I still feel like Tesla is gonna have the leading edge. I also believe Tesla the humanoid robot field about a year and a half and Boss dynamics has been in human robots for almost 30 years now and clearly has come in such a short amount of time

@@landynmiller6750 most likely because of its machine learning auto balance. Its balancing itself as it walks so it mihht look alittle wobbly. But most likely like the original Atlas, it will be able to ealk on uneven terrain and surfaces and balance itself. So far the tesla bot had only been seen walking on flat surfaces relatively slowly, not to mention this is the only video ive seen of the tesla robot turning wbile moveing

The electrical motors are from BDs robot dog. Like optimus still walks like it have shit it self, and need alot of assistance from wires o keep it moving else it will fall. If Tesla remoeved all the greenscreen and CGI, Optimus will just be ancient before hiting the esemblyline

Hi, is that serious or are you making fun? Boston Dynamic is trying to compete with Tesla in humanoid robots? I hope you are aware that Boston Dynamic is about 20 years ahead of development in robotics vs Tesla. Are you comparing the ridiculous performances of Teslas Optimus (Men in an costume 2022) & Optimus can nearly walk (2023) with BD 5 years before - Moving, Jumping, Dancing? And now, BD´s nearly ready for production product againsts Tesla`s Prototype? What are you smoking? And please beware of price comparisons. We all know that Tesla has it´s own currency when it comes to pricing. So one Tesla Dollar may be in the end between 2-6 times the price in US Dollars, depending on how the "man, that knows more about manufacturing as anybody else currently on the planet" has underestimated the production and material costs. Just one more last lesson: as long as robots are produced for industry purposes, features matter far more than design. So BD does not have to copy design from Tesla, which they anyway did not. For all the other fanboys of Tesla and the happy new world: These things are designed to do your jobs, which they will. So please welcome your obsolesence. Your options are: move up in the Hierarchy (good luck to fight against the million competitors) or die. Aint life is a bitch?
